Atardi [formerly Simply Fish] Ratings and Reviews
Atardi offered a most romantic dinner setting. Our table was set up right at the waters edge, we had a front row seat for the sunset, a saxophonist played throughout the evening, the food was exceptional and our server offered to take photos for us throughout the evening to help us capture the memory. Every moment was magical.
No one came to the table for some time. The helper then took drink orders , returned with them and took our dinner order. Then the server finally showed up and didn't return until it was time to bring our check. Water glasses were refilled only after dinner. There are many better places in Aruba
Enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Atardi. Enjoyed an awesome sunset dining right on the beach, though you are very close to people coming in from the beach. The food was fabulous and they customized offerings to avoid my wife's allergies. Our waiter and help, also went out of the way to ensure we had a good time even offering to take pictures of us.
Our table was in the sand, 4 feet from the waves gently lapping ashore. We sat bare foot with sand on our feet, the sunset, delicious food and friendly service. We celebrated my husband's birthday. When the staff learned, they presented him with a scrumptious piece of cake and a huge candle. From beginning to end our experiences were first rate.
This was a fantastic experience. My wife and I were on the island celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and our evening at Atardi was one of the highlights. We had a lovely Oceanside table with a sunset to die for and the food, service, and overall experience was impeccable. The musician even publicly mentioned our names and wished us a happy anniversary as the servers brought a lovely dessert to our table. I highly recommend Atardi to all who are seeking a first class experience!
Beautiful place! Very romantic! Food was good but for our family the whole experience is more important than any particular dish. I didn't find their food unic , it was very good, but not the best in Aruba. Also pricy but overall worth the whole experience with scenic view, sunset and life music .
Pedro was fabulous & Oscar too!! Made our anniversary celebration just perfect !! Excellent food-service -scenery & and they brought us a special surprise and unexpected cake for dessert!! Appreciated the muscles the chef let us sample as well !! Thank you for putting the customers first and doing it 100% right !!
You'd be wrong to complain about any meal with you feet in the sand. Service was a little slow but the speed at which food was delivered was prompt. It was very tasteful, especially their grouper dish. While there are some more affordable spots to eat, you can beat a sunset meal
We ate here 5 years ago when it was called Simply Fish. It has a new name, but the food is still every bit as wonderful as it was before. YUM, Yum. Don't miss it. It makes a good choice for your last night on the Island since it is right at the HOTEL and you eat directly on the beach with waves lapping at your toes. All the Wait Staff was over the top kind and perfectly attentive. We will be back--hopefully soon.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and the atmosphere provided. My wife and I are both non fish eaters which really limited our menu choices. However, the food we did get was phenomenal! We went for a sunset dinner on the beach, and would recommend this place to any first timers on the island.
This was our first Aruba Vacation. We were invited by a friend and had a fabulous time. We finished our time with our GREAT sunset dinner on the beach at Atardi which could not have been better. What a special evening , the sunset, the beach, the food, music and great friends. Our server, Mandy, also made our evening by being a very nice person but by also helping take pictures for us. Very NICE. We will be back.
Wow, fine dining right on the beach with our feet in the sand. We had a lovely dinner with great service; our server even offered to take our picture as the sun was setting. A saxophonist was playing, which made for an even more romantic evening. It was lovely watching the wind play on the water as it turned dark. And the chocolate tart (served with plenty of vanilla ice cream) was the perfect ending to an anniversary dinner.
We had dinner here and were so pleased with how beautiful the view was and how fabulous the food was! My husband had steak and I had the lobster tail...wonderful, but did I mention that our table was literally feet from the gently rolling ocean? The service was perfect, too!
One of a kind experience dining on the beach! On the advice of Oscar, we went with the Snapper sashimi appetizer, the star of the show. Also amazing, the sea bass and macadamia grouper. Service was second to none, the staff genuinely wants you to have a wonderful evening! Thank you Oscar and Chris!
My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in Aruba and had dinner at Atardi one night. The setting on the beach, at sunset, was romantic and beautiful. The staff were lovely and attentive. The dinner was superb and they gave us a "shout-out" for our anniversary. I would definitely recommend Atardi to anyone visiting Aruba!!!
This was a great place to end our Mother's Day vacation in Aruba for dinner. The restaurant is right on the ocean and we dined with our feet in the sand. Delicious, fresh fish, nice side dishes and a yummy peanut butter chocolate cake. A great meal on a great island.
