My wife and I enjoyed another amazing meal at Ariana! As usual the chefs tasting menu was fantastic, and our server, Castle, was an absolute delight! If you're a local and have never been, or if you're traveling to Bend and are looking for the best meal in town, Ariana is the spot to hit! Just make sure you reserve a table at least a week in advance as it's no secret how good it is!

Food was overall good, but not exceptional. The Cod Dish Was swimming In A Thick Heavy Flavorless Cream sauce. It was so loud we couldn't Hear each other talk. Just not the experience we were expecting it to be. Dissapointing.

Ariana is te best restaurant in or near Bend, Oregon. It has won a James Beard award and is so highly esteemed that reservations are needed over 10 days in advance. I have eaten there over 50 times in the past 11 years. Their short rib is by far the best I have had anywhere. The seared scollops on dungeness crab risotto is a standout. The salads are excellent as are the small plates. The soup is seasonal and outstanding. For my last meal I had an unusual pork shoulder cooked sous-vide style then lightly seared and served with a delectable sauce, preceded by a beef carpaccio that is the best I have ever experienced. Desserts are great. Good wine list as well as very acceptable wines by the glass. Full bar. Excellent and professional service.

Ariana is a special go-to-place for us. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there Saturday evening. As always, the food was wonderful, service was perfect. My husband enjoyed a very special glass of port after dinner.

We were overall blown away from Ariana! Food was astounding, service was good, and was able to make a reservation online, oh and I almost forgot, a GREAT wine selection! The only thing I was sadden by was the fact that our server didn't ask us if we were there for a special occasion because it was our 1 year anniversary/my boyfriends birthday. Meanwhile the table right next to us had a Birthday and got a dessert in the house. But other than that little bump in the road it was amazing.

Wonderful food. Love the scallops with crab risotto but this time the dish did not have the crab taste that it had the previous time as I could not find any pieces of crab. However, it was still very good.
It is worth the drive and the money when you want good food for a special occasion.

Excellent food, attentive service, and tasteful, understated atmosphere. The restaurant is small so make a reservation. Ariana is the best restaurant I've been to in Bend and is every bit as memorable
as fine dining in Portland, Seattle, etc.

We all had the tasting menu and even though the food was excellent. The portions were minimal. It was like we had five spoons for $65. I could have ordered a main course, a starter, an appetizer and a desert for the same price and had full size servings.

Excellent food, wine, & service, but our reserved table was not ready on time and they just had us standing around. They didn't even offer for us to have a seat at the bar, but just ignored us - though maybe that was because the bar was too busy to seat us. It took about 20 - 25 minutes to get our reserved table & the entryway is so small that we had to wait outside (& it was cold). Apparently the party eating at our reserved table before us wasn't leaving on time - but we never saw the Ariana staff discreetly explain to that group that the table was reserved and our party had arrived. That group never left until about an hour into our meal - by then we were seated at a different table. We would have preferred our original table as we felt the other table was bigger and we liked that it was round not square. We did love everything else - and we will return - but don't count on your reservation being respected. Our reservation was for 8:30pm and we didn't get our first bite of food until after 9:15pm - kind of late dining for Bend, OR not to mention nearly an hour after our confirmed reservation. This also meant we were in the restaurant late and got to watch the staff fold napkins and do other prep work for the next day at the bar in front of us. That didn't help with the atmosphere. Had we been seated on time, we would have ordered more wine & desserts, but we felt rushed instead - not to mention starving by the time we did get to eat, which also did not allow us to savor the wonderful meals we had.

We left with a smile on our face. Everything our table of 4 ordered was excellent. The salads scrumptious, salmon cooked to perfection, scallops and short ribs were DEElicious! On top of that the service was superb! It is now our favorite restaurant in Bend. We will be coming back for sure.

The food and service were excellent. The wood floors
and high ceiling assisted in magnifying the noise level; our table of 4 could barely hear each other. Fighting with the noise of the neighboring diners and the espresso machine and bar was tough. The portions were good. However, the portion v price for a la carte was too high. No matter how fresh and inventive the ingredients, $10 for soup or salad and then $30 for the main course is a lot.

We went to Ariana for my birthday dinner and it was outstanding! I read the other reviews about the noise level but our reservation was later at night and that seemed to work well. We actually had a reservation for 8:45pm (all that was available!) and they were able to accomodate us at 8pm. Service was amazing and the food was incredible. Calamari, salmon and short ribs were to die for! If you're in Bend, do not hesitate about booking this fabulous spot!
