Angelina's Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Food always good however on this occasion we were very disappointed with the time it took to get desert. It was very close to a half hour lapse and I actually got the wrong item, sorbet instead of the gelato I had ordered. By the time waiter returned I was not interested in waiting for gelato, which he did offer.
We went to Angelina’s to celebrate by wife’s two year cancer free anniversary. Werner was our waiter and he was excellent. Made great food and drink recommendations and his service was fantastic.
Signature cocktails were fresh and delicious. The Osso Bucco and Black Grouper were also excellent. We were too full at the end of the meal for desert but Werner brought out a chocolate desert with “Congratulations” written on the plate. A very thoughtful gift and it made my wife’s evening. The complimentary shots of Lemoncello were also appreciated.
From the valet to the people busing tables the service could not have been better.
Piano Bar service & drinks enjoyable & good. Had calamari (ok) & pizzet (tasty) appetizers at the bar before dinner and enjoyed piano so much decided to have dinner in bar area. Dinner service was poor. Took forever for a salad to be served then waitress brought entres before salad was finished. She babbled something about it being someone else’s fault. Grouper was soggy. Wine list is vast but overall pricey. Menu is limited so got pasta appetizer as entree which was very good but can get just as tasty pasta for less at chain restaurants. Overall, had most enjoyable time nestled in piano bar section because of lovely music.
Overrated. we got too much information and too little value for the money.
They seem to think that an antipasta consists of olives and breadsticks and very little
salad ingredients such as italian ham, cheese and what is usually found in decent antipasta.
The portions were less than generous. The best part of the meal was the bread and butter and
We split a caprese which was excellent and two dinner size pastas - bolognese and squash raviolis. Their pastas are as good as it gets. Bill with a corkage fee - can bring Wine if not in their wine list - was $87 before tip. All in all a great dinner at a reasonable price. Their dinner entrees are exceptional but far from inexpensive. We will be back soon.
Got there at 520 had a reservation
No one came to table for 20 minutes
Finally GM came to table and explained waiter was not in yet
So he took a drink order but he never came back
Finally I got the water boy who had no idea what he was doing
He never came back
We got the attention of another waiter he found our drinks
Gm returned to buy us an app
Being reg mgr of a north east company of restaurants this was not acceptable service
Won't be back!
Slow Start, but Excellent Finish. There was a little confusion upon arrival with seating. I had reserved the private seating and had made a request on this site (Open Table) for such, however, the hostess did not have any record of that electronic communication through this reservation system. She said that a telephone call to the restaurant needed to be made in order for that request to be fulfilled. That is something that needs to be corrected. Other than that, from that point going forward, everything was perfect. We were seated in the more quiet dining room, at a large round table. This was good because there was plenty of space to eat and made it more comfortable. The service was Excellent, couldn’t get any better! Our waitress, Marina, was extremely accommodating, polite, very knowledgeable and was also training a new employee. Marina is a professional and knows her stuff. She represents the establishment in a way that someone who owns a restaurant would. Marina is a gem and I am very glad that we had the opportunity to be served by her. When you go to any restaurant, even ones you most frequent, you never know who will be taking care of you. This was Our family’s first time dining at Angelina’s and because of the service we received from Marina, we will come back again and let our other friends and family know about it as well. Before I go, I just wanted to say the food was Delicious and everything from the Appetizer to the soup to the dessert was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and tasted delicious. The best quality ingredients were used in the dishes that were served, we could tell immediately! Excellent Excellent Excellent Excellent Excellent!!!!! Five out of Five Stars! Also, in addition to Marina’s Superb Service, the manager did come over to Our table to ask if everything and everyone was doing well and to see if we needed anything or if there was anything he could do. This is always a very nice gesture and is always appreciated! Thank you.
I took my wife here for our anniversary since it is one of our favorite dining spots in SWFL. As usual, the food & service & wine were all fabulous (I had the best Osso Bucco I have ever had). In addition, it seemed as if the entire staff was aware of our occasion and gave us extra attention. They even packed the flowers I had delivered so we could get them home. It's great to have such a wonderful spot so nearby (we live in Bonita) so that driving all the way to/from Naples is not necessary.
Angelina's has always been our go-to place for celebrations. It has never disappointed. The service is outstanding - attentive but never intrusive. Portions are just right. The menu is comprehensive and authentic. And the wine menu satisfies even the most discriminating oneophile. Worth the long drive from our new home.
