It was a special "mushroom" menu this evening. While I happen to love mushrooms, there should have been at least some non-mushroom offerings or at least some advance notice that every single dish would have mushrooms!
I had the duck (with mushrooms) and it was delicious. My daughter had the venison with large chewy stems of mushroom that was not a great addition to the venison.
The waiter was incredibly attentive and sweet.

We came for the very first time on Sunday evening. We looked up the menue on line and there was a good choice for picky teenagers but we did not know that you had a family style dinner on Sunday. As much as we loved it, it was not the bes for teenagers. It would have been nice to have a few more options. Otherwise we, thw adults loved everything that we ate .

I have been to the Ancaster Mill a few times for brunch before, and as always it is very enjoyable! The scenery is spectacular and the waterfall outside is so nice to look at while eating! Our brunch was full of different types of food that was cooked perfectly and there was plenty to choose from. I would recommend this place to everyone!

We love coming to the Mill for Sunday Brunch. We meet there once a year for a special family occasion and have been for almost 5 years. We will be likely to continue our tradition as everyone enjoys the variety of food available, not to mention that it is always perfectly cooked and delicious! We really like to sit in the Mill View Room and had requested to do so this time. We were given 2 tables but because we were celebrating a birthday of our mother and had 2 families coming together, asked if there was any way we could move the tables together. Annie, general manager was graciously willing to accommodate and set about moving the tables. It was instantly transformed into a perfect table for all of us. We are very grateful. The service we received from Alaina (sp?) and Nicole was terrific. We certainly appreciated the attention given to our mom for her birthday. Alaina arranged for a birthday dessert which mom thoroughly enjoyed later at home ( too stuffed from all other fabulous desserts)! Thank you again to all. We had a wonderful experience.
It was also nice to see a wedding there as we may have some future brides!

My friend and I went to The Mill for Lunch. It's a lovely restaurant with a terrific location and views. The food was very good (the frites were perfect! Best I've had in years). The service was charming and efficient. Would definitely go again when in the area.

We had Thanksgiving diner at the Incaster Mill. The whole experience was outstanding. Service was impeccable- thank you Steve. Food was also deliciously flavourful. My husband and I will definitely come back in the near future.

We love the Thanksgiving brunch buffet. There is something for everyone and the food is delicious. There is a wonderful holiday feel, which makes it easy to celebrate and spend family time together.

Always a wonderful experience. The staff are all great and the service is top notch. Little busy in spots but to be expected when the food is that great. We went for Brunch on Sunday with our teenage children. They love it too 😊

It was a good experience , was the wife's first time. Only thing that was found was the roasted potatoes were bland and need 1 or 2 more to choose from the appetizer menu, back ground is British .
Great flavor with the pork chops and chicken , very impressed with our server too.

Our visit was to celebrate a birthday as well as an anniversary. It was perfect! The staff was wonderful, the atmosphere beautiful and the food delicious. We were there for brunch and we enjoyed the food which was plentiful and delicious. The waitress was attentive and helpful. She brought a delicious cheesecake to celebrate my partner's birthday and it was a delicious surprise. We enjoyed every bit of the dining experience. Thank you!

We always enjoy Sunday Brunch with Family or group of friends. There's no rush and everyone is helpful and friendly.
The one fault I find is the wait for our table. The past three times, we have had to wait close to half an hour before being seated even though we had a reservation.

So much selection! Our group had seafood lovers, breakfast lovers and meat lovers - we were all very happy with the offering! Desserts were excellent as well - too bad the caramel tart was not "in season"! Just means we'll have to come back! Service was also top notch.

Food was really good, everything tasted amazing, not one extreme stand out dish. Desserts were delicious...overall there was a fair selection of foods...maybe a couple more hot dishes would have been nice. Service was mediocre, doesn't really stand out from other brunches, scenery was amazing, noise was on the higher side but wasn't to the point where it would bother us. Overall I think it was great...even better if the service can be improved

The Old Mill is beyond beautiful, and the food is ridiculously good. The portion sizes aren't huge, like a cheesy chain restaurant, but the plate is packed with premium locally sourced ingredients that are perfectly paired and presented in a beautiful manner. Our server on this occasion was fine, but she wasn't particularly outgoing or friendly. Steve is hands down your best server, congratulations on acquiring him as a member of your team.

Went to the Mill for Sunday Brunch to celebrate my wife's birthday with family. Food was excellent as usual, as was the service. The candle on the dessert was a nice touch. Too bad they didn't have a table overlooking the falls.

Am not satisfied with the vegetables. I would think there would be a better selection of grilled or lightly greased veggies. The sesame bokchoy was a nice light change. I find the hot veggies are more miss than hit.
It would also be nice to have a seasonal soup. I know it's been hot this summer but soups are often s nice, light selection.

Lovely restaurant great food, good service. The one thing that I was disappointed with was that when I made the reservation I specifically told them it was for an anniversary. When I got there I also mentioned it to the server but nothing was done for the occasion but I saw other tables receiving something for their occasions. It was disappointing.

Absolutely amazing as always. We were married here and return every year for our anniversary. We are never disappointed. The food is always different and such wonderful choices which sometimes makes us wish there were more of us to order one of everything. The staff and service is by far superior to any other location, always attentive and so very friendly. Every year it's like celebrating our anniversary with friends. Thank you.

The location is superb as is the decor. The lunch service was very good but slow. The soup claimed to be a Minestrone; it was not. I did not enjoy it. The lingcod was fine. The bed of chopped zucchini and peas and what not on which it lay was tasty. The lettuce/watercress thingy superfluous. The shrimp dumplings were shrimp dumplings. I did enjoy the confit potatoes side order. I recommend that small labels identify the the wonderful pies on display; I did not get what I thought I was getting. However, my dessert was very tasty as was the Tom Collins starter. JosephM
