Love their red sauce. Not too sweet. The braciole was delicious and the arancini was a nice appetizer. Good wine selection but they could upgrade add an alternative to Coppola Cabernet. Possibly a Beringer Knights Valley or a Simi would do nicely and be only a couple dollars more.

Food ande service were oustanding. This was a birthday celebration. Celebrant , while having eaten here on a number of occasions was again highly impressed with food, presentation of same and service. It is one of Buffalo's better restaurants.

4 of us dined at Amici's-up for a wonderful birthday dinner. The food and service, table setup, the wine were all so pleasing. We were surprised with cannolis for all with a birthday candle for dessert...how very kind and thoughtful. Joe was a great waiter.
We'll be back.

Food was ok not bad not amazing the disappointment came when we ordered dessert it was my wife's birthday and her favorite is tiramisu this was on their menu on the website but much to her chagrin the stopped serving that "a while ago". Had that not been on the menu we wouldn't have came. Had to order tiramisu from live garden to go on the way home :(.
Good Itailian Food
The meal at Amici like always was great. We had a nice table and the service was very very good. The only issue if I had to pick was, They did have a special mothers day menu on Friday evening but we were not made aware of that until we sat down on Friday evening.
But the food was delicious.

We have been to Amici's many times. The service is always excellent and the food is always very good. The sauce has a good tomato flavor and isn't too sweet. Most Italian restaurants are just "hot and a lot" but not Amici's. Great portions, great food, and great service.
ANOTHER AMAZING EXPERIENCE!
sO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE THAT CONSISTENTLY HAS AMAZING ITALIAN FOOD, AND I MEAN AUTHENTIC DELICIOUS FOOD, WITH GREAT SERVICE (THANKS KRISTEN) AND AN ATMOSPHERE THAT IS RELAXING BOTH INDOORS AND ON THE PATIO THEN THIS IS YOUR PLACE! ACE IS NOT ONLY THE OWNER'S NICKNAME BUT ALSO A TERRIFIC DESCRIPTION OF HOW THE FOOD IS PREPARED AND DELIVERED.... AND DID I MENTION THE WINE LIST.... OR THE DESSERTS????? YUMMY SO BOOK YOUR RESERVATIONS EARLY.... AND OFTEN!!!! cHANCES ARE YOU MAY SEE US THERE TOO!!!
The first time I tried making reservations here it was a 45 min wait so we didn't end up going. However, I still wanted to try this place out so when my fiance came into town, we made reservations for 8 PM. We arrived around 8:05 and the entrance was locked! The waitress inside was vacuuming! I was astounded and very disappointed.
What a great night!!
We had never been to Amici's before but heard Jack Civiletto was singing so made reservations. Food was fantastic, ambiance was nice but it would have been nice to have a little dance floor area since they have music. Not cheap but we'll worth the money. Will definitely go back.
Restaurants should not participate in restaurant week or offer special deals that they don't want give. Amici's offered a glass of wine and a dessert with their Restaurant week special. The glass of wine was offered in a small champagne flute and was little more than a tasting amount. Come on, we did not expect their best bottled wine, but the serving glass and amount were a joke. The mini dessert was extra mini, a cookie size really. We were four neighbor friends and stayed to talk, we ordered an extra bottle of Chardonnay, but we given Pinot Giorgio instead. By the time we all realized it, we felt foolish to correct it, although one of the ladies did except a glass of Chardonnay. We would not patronize this restaurant, and will be reluctant to participant in Restaurant week promotions again. This should have been an opportunity for the restaurant to shine, as the restaurant was fairly crowded for a Tuesday, but that was not the case.
The food did not taste bright and fresh. Salad was wilted, red sauce taste reheated and reheated. Charged $2 extra for "rocks" in the cocktails, charged $2 extra for anchovies on the Caesar salad, and charged $3.30 for extra capers. Waitress was sweet but plates were cleared and take home boxes (unasked for) were brought to the table while people were still eating. Not going back!

Amici was absolutely outstanding. I enjoy visiting many privately owned restaurants around the city and this was definitely put up on my top 5 list. The service was very friendly. I dined by myself after work one evening and just happened to come on the time the 20 year anniversary special was going on. I enjoyed a glass of wine excellent salad superb salmon delicious basil gnocchi and a cannoli for dessert for only $27. You can't beat that with a stick I will definitely be back
Authentic Italian & consistent quality
Whenever I am in the Buffalo area, Amici's is on my list for dinner. The food is consistently good and the wine list is reasonably priced. Wait staff is pleasant and knowledgable. A little out of the way in Kenmore, but worth finding it.
This is a neighborhood favorite with excellent choices on the menu that are filling and tasty. The veal dishes are prepared very well. I enjoy them without onions, but with extra garlic. The only drawback for this visit was the table adjacent to us that decided to share their chatter about everything related to some friend of their's and the process of childbirth...not really a nice topic for conversation over dinner...
