Always a great place to dine with great service and food. For some reason, it appeared noisy this time, there were a couple of larger tables that perhaps added to the gregarious atmosphere.
Would like to see some sort of partition behind the booths. All in all, highly recommend Alloy!

A fantastic resturant. The food was impeccable, my beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked, I've never had a cut of meat cooked so perfectly medium rare as this one was. The beef short rib is to die for. It was so tender and flavourful. We couldn't have been any happier, we will most definitely be back!

Our previous experiences at Alloy have been very good. This evening did not live up to expectations. The food was just okay...especially for the prices.
The service was okay. We felt like we were being swept out of the restaurant at the end of the evening...literally the waitress was sweeping the floor around us as were still sitting and chatting at the table.

Went for our Anniversary dinner. There was group of ladies celebrating a friends Birthday also a wedding rehearsal dinner so great for a mix of groups. Food and service was amazing. Modern but cozy atmosphere. Every dish we had was out standing, lobster tempura, beef tenderloin, lamp-chops Ohh and the desserts!!... entire meal was SO delicious!! Can't wait to go back, this hidden gem is a must try!

One of my guests ordered the beef without the cheese. It came with the cheese and they took it back but they didn't give her a new order. She is Jewish and doesn't mix meat and dairy so she didn't eat the meat or much of her meal, it was embarrassing for me as her host.

So very glad I took a chance on this restaurant!
I shouldn't have been surprised with the sheer number of 5-star reviews that Alloy has, but when trying a new place, you can never quite tell. I mentioned my wife's sensitivity to bell peppers when making my reservation, and not only did they help steer us away from choices that had bell peppers, the kitchen manager actually had special hummus made for us that didn't have the red peppers as part of the dish—quite thoughtful.
Our starter was the Arugula Salad—recommended by our server. It was amazingly delicious. A great mix of flavours and textures that made me wish I had ordered two.
We followed the salad with the Beef Tenderloin—also recommended by our server (though it was a close tie between that and the short ribs), and I would order that dish every single time. Tender juicy meat, perfectly cooked vegetables and potatoes that nearly melted in your mouth!
Finally we had dessert—mini donuts for my wife, and the chocolate cake for me. Both were recommended by our server. 3/3! We will definitely be back to Alloy. It is crystal clear why they have so many 5-star reviews. Simply? They nailed everything.
The only—and I mean only—drawback from the night was that my wife and I were out for a date, and there was a rather boisterous group sitting not far from us. It happens, but would not deter me from coming back.
Thanks for a great night out!

The parking, the seating, the ambiance, the service, the food...were all good. However, the portions tend to be small. For example, the "bowl" of roasted tomato soup is really a "cup" in size and the accompanying "sourdough crustini" is the size of one potato chip. So for $12 it's not good value. Similarly, the beef short rib, although delicious, is only one short rib with a tablespoon of mashed potato and a small portion of seasonal vegetables priced at $31. Again, the pacific halibut was similarly delicious, but overpriced at $45. Alloy is a very good restaurant, but it is significantly overpriced for the total dining experience it provided. We preferred dining at Red's in Ramsay for 1/3 the cost of Alloy. Red's is more fun and better value.

We were celebrating our daughter's and our son's birthdays and we really appreciated the special complimentary dessert that was provided for them. All of us enjoyed our meals very much. The pork sirloin was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. Our server was very friendly and very efficient. This is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion.

What I liked about this restaurant was the entrees. The appetizer was good but not as exceptional as our main dishes. Dessert was good too but not great. It was quite noisy in there due to the open concept dining space. It had nice modern deco though. I'd recommend this place based on the food - it was creative & delicious!

Food was AMAZING. We enjoyed the pork belly, tuna tatami, prime rib, halibut, Cornish game hen and beef short ribs - would recommend all of the above! Great for a fancy date. The noise level is perfect - a bit of a buzz, but you can easily converse with your table. Be sure to ask for one of the cozy booths.

For the price we paid, the portions could have been a tad more.........especially the soup. Two of the meals were warm not hot and my pork was a bit overdone. The dessert looked good, but it lacked flavour. The service was good but the time between courses seemed a bit long and we don't rush our meals. The atmosphere is very pleasant and for once there was no radio music..........quiet jazz would have been nice but we all enjoyed conversation without shouting. Overall, it was good, but we would not return for dinner. The garden area looks lovely so I would suggest trying lunch first before you plunge in the higher cost of dinner.

Couldn't get a booth & banquettes are very low. Took forever for our entrees to be served although tables around us came later & had already eaten by the time ours came. Food was excellent & waiter compensated us with a free glass of wine each for the inconvenience. Was very noisy (as usual) although there was a wedding going on in the back room.

Food was average. For example, the halibut was dry and a bit bland. Only the gnocchi was outstanding. Chocolate cake- dry. I expected better, especially since we paid $200 for 2 people (no drinks except sparkling water).

they need to adjust their menu to the current ecomomic situation as they only had 6 tables filled the whole time we were there - the food as gone downhill unfortunately -could adjust menu and make it viable and fun .

Upon entry to the restaurant - there's scent of "fish" in the air. I guess its not what I was expecting from an upscale restaurant. Either ventilation was bad or they served a lot of fish that night.
The Truffle Gnocci was delicious! Other than that, the lobster tempura ... not special at all. Tasted like shrimp tempura. The short ribs was good but on the salty side.
Service was good though.
I don't think I would go back but I would recommend to friends to try.

Our server was awesome! He definitely made our night special and went out of his way to make it not just a great dinner but a great experience. The decor was beautiful but the restaurant was hard to find. I suggest a sign that faces perpendicular to traffic since the sign is difficult to see in the parallel position. Food was decent but I wish there was more flavour.
