With a unique marriage of modern design and the authentic ambiance of an old world Tuscan trattoria, we proudly invite you to experience Arugula Ristorante. Masterfully prepared, yet rustic and homemade, the menu focuses on Southern Italian cooking, specializing in fish filet at table side. Dine al fresco in our Roman inspired garden patio or enjoy our spacious dining room built around an open kitchen atmosphere and traditional wood burning stove. Arugula's list of fine wines is sure to please. We allow you to bring your own wine, with a corkage fee, and we are open seven days a week for dinner, and open for lunch Monday thru Saturday.
"I had a great experience but I did think the music selection was a little out of place. Playing dance music at 6 PM on Mother's Day seemed a bit odd. Personally I like the music but found it out of place for the time and day. Friday night, Saturday night with a more energetic crowd I think it fits.
Overall, service was great and food was good. The bread for the brucshetta was a soft and soggy which lead me to believe it was sitting around for a while before ending up on my table. My arugula salad was supposed to come with warm goat cheese according to the menu but it was one big cold clump. Main course was good although I felt like the majority of the pasta dishes were priced a couple dollars too high."

"This was my very first time finally getting to this highly recomended spot, now I finally see what all the buzz is about. We visited with a two other couples and we all left agreeing this is our new FAVORITE place to eat, The food, service, drinks, menu, everything was exceptional. The place was packed, yet service was fast and pleasant. The atmosphere is beautiful, reminded me of Old City philly, except there was Free parking and no 45 minute drive to the city. The girls got dressed up, and the guys wore jeans, nobody felt over or under dress. We will al be back and maybe even just hang at the bar !! Great times ! Thanks ! :)"

"Very Nice Place. Glad I found it on Open Table. Service and Food were excellent. Note that they now have a bar so the description of the property needs to be updated"

"We always have a wonderful meal. Have never been disappointed. I think they are still getting used to the fact that they are no longer a BYOB and have a bar....our waiter's first greeting was to announce the specials... Usually the first greeting is to offer a cocktail!!! We love this place."

"We ordered a bottle of wine, only to find out, they were out of that particular wine. The selection was rather slim in the wine department. So, we paid a $10 uncorking fee for the bottle we brought as the last time we were there the restaurant was a BYOB. Then, as we ordered our entrees, they were out of 2 dishes that 2 of us were ordering. There was no mention of this as they went over specials."

"I thought that with a relatively small menu selection that the meal would be excellent and the service well-executed. To my surprise it wasn't. The soup (pasta fagioli) was served lukewarm and the pasta was undercooked. The breaded veal chop with arugula was dry and tasted bland. My dining companion's chicken wasn't that much better. Service was friendly and professional but was also inattentive--there was no wine recommendation. There was long wait to receive the bill and an equally long period to collect payment. Overall it was a disappointing and dissatisfying experience."

"Third time back here. We enjoy the freshness of food, presentation, and attentive wait staff. Ordered mix of mussels and clam appetizer in white sauce (not spicy compared to Chickie & Pete) and a plate of calamari. Grilled calarmari was the winner- tender and tasty; mussels were OK just not spicy enough for us. Entree with veal and another with seafood and pasta were excellent. Tasty vegetable accompaniment of broccoli and scalloped potatoes. One issue with this night was a wrong drink to the table but honest mistake and they offered to replace it. We'll be back again."

"The menu had good selections and the food was tasty. We were from out of town and took relatives there who were local and had enjoyed eating there in the past. The service started out excellent but then fell apart Whatever happened, the service was terrible. After our dinner plates were removed, no desserts were offered, no beverage refills,no check presented, we just sat there for 40 minutes trying to get someone's attention. Finally I flagged a waiter down and asked for a check and I still waited 10 minutes for that. The table next to me had the same issue and the wife was clearly furious. Asked her husband if he left a tip and said she wouldn't have. Don't know if my local family will return."

"Arugula just got a liquor license so it was nice to have a sit at the bar while waiting for my other guests to arrive. We arrived around 6:30 on a Friday night and it didn't start filling up until 8pm. Nice appetizers and a variety of items on the menu. Seafood pasta was fantastic. Rich! But wonderful. Breaded veal was a little dry and not what I expected."

"A returning diner to this restaurant. Just as good the second time. Veal and fish dishes outstanding. Attentive wait staff. We sat a little too close to kitchen and will ask for window seating next time we go. Octopus appetizer delicious but small. Everything freshly prepared. Lots of chopped fresh tomatoes on bruschetta, appetizers, and dinner entrees. Good draft beers. Just wonderful experience. Will go back again."

"Great spot. Clean food, not spiced or salted heavily. Excellent wait staff very attentive. Nice touch with bruschetta and biscotti as start and finish to meals (no charge). Sultry singer there some evenings after 730pm. Excellent grilled calamari or octopus appetizers. Will go back again."

"Was our first time dining at Arugula and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, my wife had the salmon and I had the lobster ravioli with shrimp and scallops (special). The grilled calamari appetizer was very good as well. Our server was slow to pick up our table but it was a Saturday night and extremely busy. Overall it was a very good dining expereince."

"Same menu for at least the last two years. Drinks were very small and the red wine was warm. They definetly need to properly store the wine. Staff was attentive and nice."

"Showed up at our reservation time and were not seated for close to 20 minutes. Our drinks did not show up for about 45 minutes and in the mean time we were only brought our water and small salad. After our salad no waiter came around to check on us for quite some time. After pulling several other waiters aside, who were not ours, we finally got our food, but it was the wrong food!! After all the mishaps our total time in restaurant was about 2 hours. I would never go back there or recommend it to a anyone."

"This was a great place to be for valentines day. We had 6:30 reservations and a table was ready for us as soon as we got there. It wasn't even that noisy at that point. Once the live music got there, it was hard to hear, but we were finished our meal by the time it started to bother us. The food was incredible. I got the Penne Gabriella and my boyfriend got the fillet from the vday menu. We also both got a glass of wine. It was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely go back there again, especially if it was a special occasion."

"A terrible Valentine's Day experience. The restaurant was wildly overbooked. They were unable to honor our reservation nearly an hour after our time. We eventually settled for 2 seats at the bar, but the service remained poor. The kitchen could not keep up, and everything we ordered was late. We had a very long, very unsatisfying experience."

"When we arrived, the hostess had the wrong number of our party although we received confirmation thru opentable. She left us waiting for over ten minutes. Once we were sat, we waited another 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Finally we received service but did not for the remainder of the evening have a server. We had to flag down anyone who would acknowledge us to get our check. We felt awkward and uncomfortable."
