Allegro's menu reflects the best from Italian food
Allergo, as most of you know, is a musical term that means lively, and the restaurant rendition run smartly by Rico Ferri and Jack Menghisteab certainly lives up to its namesake. Allegro offers a completely separate concept with a warm, intimate restaurant featuring the best dishes. You can refer to our menus for a list of dishes available at Allegro.
Allegro Italian Kitchen has received rave reviews for its contemporary design, exceptional meals and all-around wonderful dining experience; In the summer, you can dine inside or out on the patio and savor one of many mouth-watering meals, including pasta, chicken, risotto and many more, and a selection of fine wines. The live piano music makes this dining experience unique with a beautiful atmosphere.
"Went for supper on a Saturday evening. The food was great and serving size was good. Prices affordable. Enjoyed the piano towards the end of the meal. You will need a reservation on Saturday evening."

"It really wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it would be a little more upscale & was disappointed at the appearance when we entered. The food was good but the waiter was sitting with his head on a table having a few minutes of shut eye between serving us. Although the food was good, I don't think I would return here."

"Request quiet table on opentable. Was seated in front of the bar, and right by the kitchen table. There were at least 4 empty table for 2 available. Was told manager pre assigned table. Complained, and was seated at reasonable table. Obvious manager ignored any request, did what he felt, dinner guests are not important. Our waitress was wonderful, and provided excellent service. Food was good, but not outstanding. Happened to be resturant week, and had $25 pasta Manuel with appetizer and dessert. Looking at the regular dinner menu, I think meat entrees are overpriced for the quality of food served. This place lack the professional serving staff and fine dining experience, if they want to charge high prices."

"Service was great, selection was good, atmosphere was good. My partner had a pasta dish and I had lamb. We found both dishes too salty for our liking. Since we found this in both dishes we probably will not return."

"As first timers, we were very impressed with our choices - breaded veal and mushroom chicken - super tasty! The vegetables were also extra fresh and served perfectly. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Allegro!"

"One of the better meals I have had in Edmonton, and at a lower price than many of the upscale restaurants in this city. Food was fantastic and came out quickly in a full restaurant, the service was superb, and they even had a pianist playing lovely background music. You must try this restaurant!"

"They were able to accommodate a lactose free meal and did not compromise on taste. Crowded but the ambiance is very comfortable. The noise level with piano playing in the back ground was perfect to have a private conversation. Would recommend to anyone, just make sure to book in advance."

"Other than having a little trouble finding the place (the entrance is actually on 100 Ave not 109 Street, we had a perfect evening. The service was excellent, the appies and salad terrific and our mains very good. The evening was then topped off when Jack comped our dessert and port for no other reason than to say welcome to some new customers. We'll be back."
