LT Burger, envisioned by acclaimed Chef Laurent Tourondel has opened directly across from Bryant Park (8 West 40th St., between 5th and 6th Ave)The design of the bi-level restaurant- a former bank and Nikola Tesla's laboratory - embraces the building's deep history through the restoration of original details such as marble walls, oak paneling and tin ceilings. The LT Burger menu features over ten creative burgers made with Certified Angus Beef, organic ground turkey burger, ("Heritage Turkey"), chicken ("Dirty Chicken")and Ahi Tuna ("Tuna Chipotle"). Savory french fries ("Skinny Fries") and other accompaniments including Kosher Fried Pickles, Kickass Wings and chopped brisket "Mucho Nachos". To wash it all down LT Burger offers a full bar featuring hand-crafted beers, wine and over 25 bottled beers. The diverse and decadent beverage menu also include over 12 delicious Laurent designed shakes such as "Death By Oreo" and "Caramel Popcorn".
"The food was great -- lived up to expectations for a $13 burger. Restaurant ilooks small but is actually larger than it appears at first glance and not cramped or crowded. I loved the feeling of openess. I intend to go back to try other things on the menu"

"I'm technically not supposed to eat red meat due to stomach issues but I eat it about 3 times a year. I had a gut feeing (no pun intended) that their burger would be worth the stomach ache. It was the most delicious burger I've ever had and my hamburger obsessed boyfriend agreed. The staff was attentive and caring in a genuine way. The fries (regular & sweet) were great. Only complaint is the price which does not include fries with the burger, but it is near a very tourist central spot so the prices seem semi-justified. The atmosphere and interior are very modern and inviting, and the bar was very big. Highly recommend dining here!"

"This was my second visit to LT Burger and I would definitely recommend anyone to give it a try. If your looking for a good place, with good food, good drinks, good desserts, and great service then this is your place. They also have veggie options for those that don't eat meat. So far, I have tried the Turkey Burger, the Bacon Chedder Burger, the Pink Floyd drink and this last visit finally tried one of their milkshakes. The S'more shake was delicious!"

"Not enough servers to be attentive. They are friendly when you get them and they say yes to anything pleasantly. But you have to follow up with someone else and get them to do it right then and there (like an extra plate, glass of something, drink, etc).
The hostess was one of the worst we ever experienced. Very bad mood. Running around without anyone and empty handed while repeatedly saying "just a second".
After about 10 minutes we got a waitress but then had to wait more minutes every time she left for anything. We were a party of 3 but she was more interested in serving and doing orders for the larger groups in after us.
At the end, we sat with a messy table, no clearing and no check until we asked."

"We were a party of three and we enjoyed the lunch even though it was a bit expensive. The service was good and our waiter was attentive. We waited a while for our lunch to arrive, but it was understandable because of the hour we had chosen. We had a 12:30 reservation. It was a good meal. We would go back again."

"Great food. We've been twice now and consistently quality. Layers of flavor on the burgers plus outstanding milkshakes-they're just the right size! Always love a sweet potato fry done right!"

"There were five in our group, all first-timers there. Some ordered burgers, some salads etc. All were very pleased with lunch. Service very friendly and patient, they even volunteered to turn down the volume on the loud thumping music, which made it much easier to converse. Excellent addition to the beautiful Bryant Park neighborhood. Glad they're open on Saturdays."

"This was my second time and the burgers and shakes are delicious. I am a little disappointed that they don't offer a kids menu - mini burgers and kids sized shakes would be ideal!"

"I was very impressed with LTB! I had a burger w/ cheddar, bacon & "special sauce." The bacon was thick & crispy, and the burger was actually cooked medium as I asked! (Most places undercook the burger.) My friend got the Mexican, w/green chiles & guac - also loved it. The burger itself was a little greasy, but I can't complain because it tasted so good. We also had the sweet potato fries - simple & tasty - and were treated to fried pickes and.... fried oreos! They are definitely some kind of sin, but delish! Good to share with a group so you can have just one.
The most impressive part, however, was the service - our waiter was attentive, our water glasses were never empty, and our table was constantly cleared. The manager even stopped by"

"On a mission for a great burger? I found one here. It is just 3-4 blocks from the hussle and crowds of Times Square, and well worth the walk. Since it is located more in a business district (still very safe area), there was no wait time at 6:00 on a Saturday, even with the Big East Tourney in town. I had the 7 Peppercorn Burger with port carmelized onions and blue cheese. Great flavor, prepared correctly, quality meat. Loved the bun because they realize its not about the bun, but it was still fresh and appropriately sized. Fries are fries, theirs are skinny and crispy. Note, one order of fries was enough for two of us. Service was curtious, and appropriately non-rushed."

"I ordered 7 peppercorns in medium, the beef is sooo juicy and i wanna cry. The mix of peppercorn, blue cheese, mushroom and sauté onions blend so well together and it was perfect! I also order the hazelnut milkshake but it was too sweet for me. Overall this is a high eng burger place. Lunch coins easily goes up to $50 for two. So think twice before u make a reservation. After all, it's worth to try!

"We went on a weekend night and it was quiet. It's right by Bryant Park so that's more of a workday crowd. I think everyone enjoyed their food and we had a good time. If I was in the area I'd go back, certainly. It's definitely worth leaving the mess that is Times Square to visit if you want a burger. They had good beers on draft as well if you are looking to stop somewhere for a quick drink."

"The burgers were fabulous and the staff was very attentive. The American Kobe burger and caramel popcorn shake were excellent! Once we ordered, the food came quickly and there was no rush to get us out the door. The staff was great in accomodating our three year old. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience."

"Dont expect to enjoy the conversation of your dining companions at this joint. food is great but the acoustics make it unpleasant to enjoy time with friends or family for some-- for others the thought of not hearing one another may be ideal"
