As you enter HEARTH the senses kick in. Beautiful aromas come from the food that emerges out of the fire in front of you: steaks and pork chops, ribs and chicken, local oysters and salmon, and of course great pizza, all of it kissed by the fire in the wood oven.
HEARTH is a wonderful dining experience, surrounded by fine craftsmanship with service that is attentive and friendly. Our menu provides options for dining ranging from small plates during HEARTH Hour (4pm-6pm) to entrees including daily specials such as Tourenados of Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon and fresh sage with chimichurri sauce, roasted vegetables and potatoes. Vegetarian and gluten free entrees are available. There is also a great selection of local wines and beers as well as a full bar.
HEARTH features outdoor dining during the summer months and underground parking during the rainy months.
It’s a great place to come with friends and family and enjoy another HEARTH warming experience.
"We had fantastic service at this restaurant and the food was fine. Not knock your socks off great for what we had, but good. I hear happy hour is great, and I'd give it another go just to see if it was an off night. Or maybe just what we ordered. It's great to have a restaurant like this in Washougal and hope they succeed! Will try again and update."

"Went for dinner recently- first time there. The starters were fine: bacon wrapped dates (hard to mess those up), Caesar salad (good) and sweet & sour meatballs (I liked them- my wife did not). For dinner I has the crispy chicken in green curry- the chicken was delicious however the green curry was bland and the accompaniments were just ok. My wife had the pork chop- it was cooked fine but ruined by the orange marmalade in the glaze... That was all you could taste. And their 'smashed' potatoes were too herby. All in all an ok dinner but we will not be returning as there are better options closer to home."

"We took a group of 6 to the Hearth--the first time any of us had been--to celebrate a special occasion and plan an upcoming vacation. Everyone had a great time, enjoyed the food, and made progress toward planning our joint vacation. The service was excellent--ready for us when we arrived, knowledgeable, and available for anything we needed. Highly recommend the Hearth."

"Looking at the online menu, we were xcited to try this place! We made reservations for Mother's day, which included 2young children, (it was Mother's day after all). We were so disappointed once we arrived to find that they had a "special" menu for the day which basically consisted of getting rid of the only kid friendly food (the pizzas), and adding 2 or 3 $25+ items, not cool. The kids had bread which was so tough I couldn't cut through it...so they tried to gnaw on it, but pretty much just ate butter. We tried the trout, hangar steak, osso bucco, meatballs, and filet mingon. Lovely, but tasteless. They've got it right in presentation, but it's way overpriced and under seasoned. Such a disappointment on a special day."

"I went there on Valentine's Day and there was a problem with my reservation. Hearth responded exactly how you want a restaurant to respond. They were courtesy and seated us at a table anyways. The hostess visited out table several times to tell what happened and to apologize. She was super sweet. People make mistakes (or in this case a computer). I understand that. It's how people deal with mistakes that's important. Hearth dealt with the problem perfectly. By the way, the food was very good--try the bacon wrapped dates--and so was the service. It's worth the drive to Washougal if you live in Vancouver or Portland."

"Everything was great, except (understandably on Valentine's Day) they were out of bread--but we saw another couple receive bread shortly afterward. We will be back on a non-holiday to get the regular experience."

"We went there for Valentine's day and it was obvious that they were stretching a bit on the number of diners that were there. There were plenty of open tables, but the staff was obviously not well organized for serving that many people. We did not have a single server, but seemed to get a different person with every course. We also had to wait quite awhile to place our order. I think we will try again on a less busy evening to see if this was just a bad night for them.
Despite all this, the food was excellent. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the ribs are some of the best I have tasted in the area. They were flavorful and tender. The chocolate tart was a treat to die for."
