"We came in with a group of 6 on the 7th to celebrate a friend's wedding. It was last minute and the AC in the back room was broken. The staff seemed like they were slammed at the time but still helped us as best they could. The waiter we had was EXCELLENT!!! He seemed super busy but was trying his best. It really helped that time didn't matter to us and we were just there to visit and have a good time! Food was excellent and the wines that we had were perfect. We even added two more people toward the end of the night and the staff moved us to a bigger table even though I know what a hassle that is!!!!!! Overall it was a great evening despite the last minute reservation and lack of AC in the banquet room."

"We like that Crush is located within walking distance from our hotel. We can walk over, have a nice coctail and dinner, and stroll back. While this place is a steak lovers paradise there was a varied menu selection for non steak eaters. We had the chicken piccata, beautifully presented and was delicious. We had a local (Mendocino) Sauvignon Blanc, which was refreshing and tasty. The space seems large, high ceilings, and relatively quiet - a rare thing these days. Our server was attentive and very pleasant. In our experience, the prices were reasonable, not unlike some of our favorite restaurants at home. We plan to visit Crush again when we find ourselves traveling through Ukiah."

"The food was excellent and the service was okay. Waitress was clueless as to food preparation and presentation. When we asked her about the house salad vs. salad bar, she became defensive, and seemed irritated to elaborate, though she was more than willing to tell us of her previous waitressing experiences...hmmm. Now the food was something altogether different -- superb comes to mind. The shrimp cocktail was not only excellent, but plated beautifully. I recommend everyone try that, I know I'll order that again & again. The chicken piccatta was cooked perfectly, tender & flavorful & my husband's ribeye was seared and seasoned, again perfectly. The only downside to the meal was our side of brussell sprouts, they were average at best."

"Very good quality steaks - I got the rib eye and my daughter got the filet. Cooked perfectly and the beef was flavorful & tender.
We had a wonderful server (forgot his name) who was attentive & funny.
Not a lot of "higher end" restaurant choices in Ukiah so this is a good destinations with every entree <$30 and portions are good sized. Can definitely share salads & side dishes.
It's a big, new place lacking an intimate feel nor any type of historical charm. If you want that, there are a few spots downtown that will fit that bill.
Recommended - would go back there."

"Dinner and service was excellent. Our dinner arrived quickly and was served by at least 4 people so that our dishes all arrived at the same time. We were checked on during both visits by no less than 5 different people. I think the service at Crush is exceptional. This was our second time at Crush and the dining experience was just as good both times. Our servers Adam and Charles did an excellent job. I will definitely recommend Crush and come back again!"

"The food is very good (although if you are a true "steakhouse" lover, they don't offer all of the dishes associated with a traditional steakhouse, but it's not that big of an issue). The kitchen is a bit slow, our server apologized for the delays multiple times, but we weren't in a hurry so it was not a problem. Overall, a very good dining experience, we will be returning."

"We were seated in the bar area, I was not happy, they told me that this is were they seat online reservations. They did move us to the main dinning area to a table that was just okay, not ideal. This is the first time I have had this problem with online reservations."

"I made this reservation for my daughter and her prom date for their pre-dance meal. She reports that the food was excellent. Also, the staff were very considerate to their need to be done in time to make it to their dance on time. Their meals arrived in a reasonable time. They both had the same dish (fettuccine Alfredo) and loved it. My daughter was thoroughly pleased with the service. Per her report, they even wrote "prom" in the bread dip! Lol. Thanks crush! My daughter and her date had a great experience!"

"Smart Menu. Not a lot of choices yet everything on the menu would be plates I would order and enjoy. The meal and service was very good. The ambience was not too quiet though friendly with a bit of elegance thrown in for good measure. I had the Cioppino which was presented well. The flavor of the broth and fish, shellfish combination was unique. The meal bested some of my favorite locations for this dish. My wife had the Chicken Picatta. She also was impressed with the presentation as well as the flavors and textures. f The paired wine was the Sauvignon Blanc from the local Parducci Winery that we had visited earlier in the day. The Key Lime Pie and Rich Dark Roast Coffee for Dessert was a perfect finish."

"First time at Crush, we had a party of 5 and EVERYONE had a wonderful dinner and drinks. The salad bar is AWESOME and the steaks were PERFECT. It's so nice to have a quality restaurant to go to. We live in Lake county, it sure would be nice if there was a restaurant with food as delicious as Crush. We will DEFINITELY be returning."

"We enjoyed Crush. Reservations on line were a breeze. We were seated right away, we had contact with our server right away. The salad bar was clean, spacious and well stocked. Our food was delivered within a reasonable amount of time and was good. Even when a well done steak was sent back for a little more grilling, it was handled graciously and returned in a short period of time. Good experience!"

"I made our reservation for 7 people for a special family occasion. When we arrived, we were escorted to a high table in the bar. We have two elderly family members who would not be comfortable at a high table. When I make a reservation, it's certainly not for a BAR table. The hostesss then argued with me, saying that when she spoke with me on the phone, I approved this seating arrangement. I made my reservation strictly through Open Table & never spoke with anyone. They flitted back & forth & finally scooted tables together to accomodate. We were offered a free appetizer, dessert. We accepted both! Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. Unfortunately, of all the dinners to mix up, mine was incorrect. The food was good."

"The remodeling produced a more peaceful experience, less noise, no barbecue smoke, more private dining with high booths. The salad bar is excellent with a wide variety of items, ie. large capers, quinoa, hearts of palm and a delicious cider vinaigrette. I wish the menu were more extensive with cannelloni, maybe some saucy dishes with polenta, more pasta choices and italian desserts, i.e. cannoli, zabaglione, gelato, espresso. I had the chicken piccata which varied from the classic: the paillard was not crumbed and the beurre blance had cream in it. I prefer the original. The eggplant parm. was underbaked, although prettily stacked. Makes me question how authentically italian this place is..."

"We were unfortunately seated in the entrance lounge area by the door and felt cut off from the dining experience. The stuffed chairs were more suited to a cocktail lounge. The service was ok but not very knowledgeable. The strangest part was that one of our party was seated against a wall being used to hang coats with him having to move when ever a coat was hung or retrieved. The food was very good but the dining experience was disappointing."

"Had to wait 1/2 hour, even with reservations, but the food was amazing. Highly recommend the chicken piccata. My friend had the chicken alfredo and loved it, too. The salad bar was very good and one could make an entire vegetarian meal just with that. Our server was Boyd, he was attentive, helpful and courteous, made good suggestions and came by several times to check on us. Because they were so busy, I would probably not go on a weekend night at the 6-7 dinner hour again, but overall a good dining experience and a much needed great restaurant here in Ukiah"

"Our first impression as we walked felt good and the person greeting us and showing us to our table was great. The music seemed a little loud as we walked through the dining hall and where we were seated by in the fireplace room was a bit noise with all back there talking. Our waiter Boyd was top notch and personable he took the time to help us with selections and seem generally concerned for our dining experience could not have been better. He brought the bread and olive oil in a timely manner and presented it tastefully. Our food arrived in about the right amount of time and was hot and tasty. My wife and I both ordered your best steak medium and one steak was high and medium rare (which is exactly the way I liked it, I should have ord"

"First time at Crush and was very pleased. Not really sure why they say Italian restaurant, more of just a steak house. We were seated immediately and service was quick. Our server was pleasant and did a a great job. My steak was cooked to perfection and my wifes prawns were very tasty. The things I did not care for was the salad bar, which took away from the expirence, and being served small cubes of bread rather than sour dough as you would expect in an Italian Restaurant. Also it felt like we were nickled and dimed having to pay extra for the salad bar and baked potato. All in all in was a good expirence and will go back."

"After four visits, I can easily recommend the food. The soups and pastas have all been excellent. The steak was not as good as other local offerings. The prices are prohibitive to much of the local population and Crush is exclusively relying on a small percentage of locals and people who are traveling through. Dinner for two with drinks runs us $70-120. The service is good and I have very few complaints overall (Adam is a very good server). The drinks are strong and sold at a fair price, and there is a happy hour from 4-6 in the bar/pub area (which does have a different menu). If you are looking for an upscale dining experience in Ukiah it's Crush, North State Cafe or Patrona. Give Crush a try."

"We were seated promptly, and the people were very nice and professional. Our waiter was very sweet and let us know they were busy, and service may be a little slow. We were kept happy with our drinks, and as many baskets as we wanted of the best bread in the world. My Eggplant Parmasean was a little bland, but my husband loved the Chicken Piccada. And my friend who was celebrating her birthday loved the roasted chicken. We had a very nice time."

"The service was great. Seemed to take a while to get the food, but it was a little busy due to Valentine's day. I thought the cost of wines were a little spendy since we were in the middle of wine country, and any one of the bottles on the list could have been purchased at half of the listed price. Also, the portions were not consistent - some meals were a little small compared to others. But the food was very good and well-presented. I appreciate the private booths, although we were not seated at one; I think the booths create a noise baffle that makes the dining experience a little better."
