"All three of us enjoyed our recent Mothers Day visit to Anepalco's Cafe. The food was delicious, different, and the presentation was lovely. The atmosphere was vibrant and the staff were all very attentive. We will be back!"

"I enjoyed our day at Anepalco's very much. The only complaint was that they did not serve the dishes they known for, i.e. chilaquiles. What I mean is that they have a separate lunch and dinner menu. I've been to Anepalco's many times and I really wanted to have the chilaquiles but felt a little blind-sided because of the menu change. If I would've known this, I would have made my reservation for earlier in the day. I know chilaquiles are a breakfast/lunch item, but I'm a loyal paying customer and I expect certain "staple" items to be available all day long."

"I made a reservation for a party of 8. When I arrived the inside dining area was empty and I thought we were going to be seated immediately but the hostess still made my party wait 10 minutes before seating us. Our food took more than 30 minutes to arrive at our table. The other tables around who arrived after got their food before us. I am a patient person and I can totally understand having to wait for service when a place is packed but it wasn't busy at all.
The food is great. Chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros, and Huevos divorciados are what I recommend. The sauces makes you want more and the portions are just right.
After my bad experience with the service here I will just go back to the original location for my Anepalco's fix."

"The chef is not afraid to try innovative sauces in his offerings and if you like yours somewhat spicy, you're in! We will go back. We did have a notable bottle of wine for $40.00 which was impressive."

"First visit on recommendation of daughter. Enjoyed the food. Service generally good, but time for food seemed a little longer than expected. Great flavors, using many different types of chiles and spices. This isn't your usual Mexican food! The Shrimp appetizer was great, as was the Tuna appetizer. I had the scallops, which were perfectly cooked. Caesar Salad presentation is really nice, with each leaf of lettuce layered on top of the other with dressing between the layers. The Santo Tomas Savignon Blanc paired well with most of the items.
I will definitely be back, as there are more things I want to try!"

"We had seen Anapalco's pop up as the palce to try on every list...so we did! It was fantastic from the menu to the service. It was a great, affordable place for a group for Easter Brunch."

"It was our fist time and a special occaision. Our Guests all were excited about their food. Their were three food items lacking. The Huerache was bland but the shrimp on it was tasty. The Beet salad came out missing the ricotta cheese and had to be brought out. It was bland. The recommended drinks of the night were the Guava Mimosas and they were sent back because they were bland. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was wonderful. The music was very fun and energetic but didn't match the theme of the restaurant. It was fun mixture of rock and pop. The theme would have been matching if it was top Latin tunes like Gypsy Kings."

"The food and service was GREAT -- but, the restaurant ambiance was a huge disappointment. It felt like a high-end Denny's. We kept saying: it would be a great find if you were staying at the motel, which the restaurant is connected to."

"We went on the recommendation of a Facebook friend after seeing photos of their dinner one night. It was the first warm evening this year so we sat outside. Our Friday night reservation wasn't necessary as they weren't very busy. But the wait staff was friendly and fast. The food was excellent. We will definitely be back and try again for lunch, which also looks like a great menu."
