"There were six of us for dinner and we wanted to share several appetizers and a few main entrees. No problem. Our server immediately grasped the situation, made several recommendations and served us family style. Her suggestions for appetizers and main items were spot on, everything was cooked to perfection, served in a timely manner and tasted wonderful. We will be back in town soon and Old Venice will be at the top of our list."

"The ambiance is incredibly beautiful. There is one completely indoor dining room, that is dimly lit, white walls, white table cloths, white everywhere. It looks very elegant and romantic. There is another dining room that almost is like a shed, has a somewhat outdoor feel while still being inside. Very rustic-chic, and still very romantic looking. There is also outdoor seating, which is also very rustic-chic, and there are beautiful little lights flickering in the plants. The food is great, even the starter bread basket is amazing. Service was not great. Wasn't very busy in our dining room, yet our server never even told us her name, and we hardly saw her. I'd still go again, maybe it was just an off day for her."

"yook my girlfriend there on a whim in Feb and she absolutely raved about the maple glazed salmon....went there again yesterday and it was just as awesome...love the atmosphere....acoustics are a bit hard on the ears....very noisy, but food and ambiance otherwise is amazing!"

"I booked a table through open table and it was so easy. The restaurant confirmed right away. They set a a great table for us. Our party of ten arrived early and our table was already set to go. Great service . Amazing martinis and food. I've eaten at this restaurant before and loved the food but my experience this last time makes me want to return more often"

"My colleague and I had an excellent meal here! The seafood special on Friday is excellent (1/2 off seafood entrees!), the salmon was delicious as was the La Regina. The interior to the restaurant feels comfortably formal, although I hear the back patio is very nice."

"The ambience wasn't as expected and because everything is white, you could notice where it hasn't been cleaned in a while. The main dish was great and the dessert was awesome. They had a lot of traffic, you can tell that its a great neighborhood spot to go too."

"Had originally booked my table through this site with a request for champagne and a birthday greeting for my wife and despite my saying we had a reservation, they never looked at it (the place was empty) so my extra touch never came to be. The server didn't know what bourbons they had and said she needed "to check". I was thinking this was due to the variety, but she came back to the table and named two... two!. Dinner was fine for my guests who had pasta dishes but my seafood risotto was a disaster. Not a great value since dinner for 3 was 100+."

"Started going to your restaurant years ago when it opened. Since then have moved to Tierrasanta so do not get over there as often. I must say the prices have gone up quite a bit which is understandable but if I remember my favorite, chicken piccata almost doubled in price. Still love your restaurant and love the bar."

"The food and service were excellent! The seafood risotto was delicious, very satisfying and highly recommended. Great appetizers too! Awesome special offered every Friday: Half off all salads, starters and seafood entrees from 4-6pm!!! The quality and yumminess of Old Venice's food has remained consistently great for over 30 years... Go! You won't be disappointed."

"I have been here before for a friend’s Bday, Awesome place for two for a romantic dinner, or cater to a group of 15-20 people. I choose to have my wife’s bday with all her friends and mine, since the food is great, there is a full bar, and a Dj plays great songs. In short a chill place that is away from the downtown club life but still able to cater to food, drinks and music under one roof that is decent on your wallet."

"Booked a Valentines dinner through Open Table. Was seated upon arrival but seating was so close to the other tables it was impossible to have a romantic/private conversation. We were literally rubbing elbows with the tables on both sides of ours. Restaurant was decorated nicely with balloons etc, service was really good, food was average. Was not happy with the cost and "mandatory gratuity".$200+ was a little pricey for average food in a cramped environment.(Meal included a choice of soup or salad, one of 5 entree's, and dessert. We each had 2 glasses of a house wine.)

"Took a dear friend visiting from NYC. A person in the restaurant business. At the end of the meal he stated it was one of the finest meals he had eaten in the past 10 years. This from a person who lives food. With that in mind and my exceptional meal, I give it a solid 10 on a 10 scale. Not a single fault to be found. We arrived at 7:30 and left at 10:00. Been a long time since I have been so relaxed while dinning."
