Casual modern American chef driven comfort foods in a no frills art loft style setting. Wines on tap, and an ever changing selection of draft beers featuring both domestic craft and old world styles compliment an artisanal cocktail bar menu and diverse wine list. James Beard nominated chef and owner Magdiale Wolmark is known for both inventive meat and vegetarian/vegan dishes. Sourcing is biodynamic, local, organic and always top notch with some ingredients grown in a backyard garden. Great music and laid back friendly staff are always on at this eclectic neighborhood spot.

"Referred to the restaurant by an OSU Chef, I had high expectations. I was concerned it would be busy and/or overpriced. The food was wonderful, the service was fabulous. I had the fried portabella and vegan macaroni and cheese, my friend had the veggie burger, and we finished with mexican and cappuccino gelato. Everything was wonderful! The mexican gelato tasted like fried ice cream. We also had one of their IPA's and a shrub. If I were to return I would be sure to try more drinks from the bar."

"Very Good Food and Atmosphere. Only complaint is that the food is a bit expensive for the portion size. My fish was $22 dollars but the portion was less than 6 Square Inches. It was delicious however and I was satisfied after the meal. No wine sales on Sunday, but you can get beer. They sell somewhat exotic beers in 750 ML bottles so that’s atypical and fun. The food and atmosphere was reminiscent of "The Winds" in Yellow Springs, OH. Vegan Friendly."

"We showed up with a party of 12 and kind of overwhelmed them a bit. The food is all made from scratch from the hamburger buns to the butter and everything is made fresh when ordered. Our server did a wonderful job and she made a great margarita as well (fresh squeezed limes). Food tasted wonderful."

"Overall the food was good, not great, but good. One of the ending sweets was not edible. My dessert was ok but just ok. Not at all what I expected for the pre dinner billing. It was very busy due to a wedding reception and so loud that I could not hear two of the five in our party."

"We loved the restaurant, and have eaten there before, when it was The Dragonfly. Food is exceptional and I love the ambiance. On this particular evening, we had a seven year old child with us and because the noise level was high, we never worried about having him at our table, though he behaved well at any rate. Our only minor irritation was that another celebration was happening in the gallery and the wait staff was very busy so we sometimes had to intervene for service in a timely manner. I have a feeling it was not a typical evening."

"Anyone who appreciates the freshness and value of biodynamic fare, plus uniquely creative dishes that may be unfamiliar should definitely try Till. In addition to wonderfully delicious and interesting food, Till also offers unique and interesting cocktails. All six of us thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and dishes. Those who expect large quantities of food at low prices should probably stay away unless they are willing to re-calibrate their sense of value to one that is not based on quantity but on quality and craftsmanship."

"Took a group of 5 for a business dinner, and we had a fantastic time. The food is the main attraction here with a great attention to fresh, organic and all preperations made in-house (menu boasts that they make their buns, and butter) Those that appreciate large wine or beer lists may be disappointed, but the selections available are smart choices by the staff and you will find a selection to enjoy. Everyone raved about their dishes, and we all had different entries including our Vegan team member. It;s a great spot and will return soon."

"Went for a business lunch on a weekday with a group of 4. The place only had 2 other couples there - so it was quiet but the service was great and the ambience was rustic and very neat. The menu is diverse and good - two vegetarians and two meat eaters - we were all raving about our dishes - salads, soups and burgers were far superior to a typical lunch at a local chain or even most of the places I've been to in the short north. They even freshly squeeze their own lemonade upon ordering.
I see a lot of brunch reviews - but any day for lunch, this place is a must!!"

"The food was good and the service was okay, but even though I made reservations, we still had to wait 1h 15min to get our table. In the mean time, there were no free or discounted finger foods, appetizers, drinks, or at least a free meal for the birthday boy, and the server didn't even think to take our orders while we were waiting to expedite the process a little bit. I ended up grabbing our own menus and asking him to take our orders while we were waiting. I'm not sure that I'll be going back. It just wasn't a very good experience."

"While I wouldn't return anytime soon, there is a certain charm to the restaurant and the food we received was good. However, the service was mediocre and they were out of many items, despite the fact that it was only 11 AM. We were told by the server that there were no buns, so all sandwiches would be served bunless (!), and that the tofu dishes would be substituted with portabella mushroom. Service was friendly but quite slow... we both ordered egg dishes and it took over 30 minutes. I asked for hot sauce which finally arrived after I was finished with my meal. The jelly that came with the toast wouldn't have filled a thimble. The restaurant was less than half full, so there really wasn't any excuse for the mediocre service or delay"

"We tried Till last night and were blown away. I don't think there is anywhere else you can go in Columbus and experience food like this. Every bite we ate was divine. "I went for brunch and it was very quiet on a Sunday morning. Despite this the service was a bit spotty. It took a while for the food to come out. Then my friend had the wrong omelette brought out and instead of apologizing and having it fixed right away he first went to double check the original order ticket. The food itself was decent. I had the veggie burger which was pretty good but nothing standout like Northstar's. Probably won't be back."

"I had the shiitake mushroom bisque (EXCELLENT), pistachio tofu with farro curry and vegan brownie sundae. The pistachio tofu was very disappointing. I could not taste pistachio at all - it was more like deep-fried tofu. Farro curry hardly tasted like curry at all. If I hadn't known from reading the menu that it was curried I don't believe I would have sensed it. The brussel's sprout that came with my entree were very well cooked and nicely seasoned and were without a doubt the best item on that plate. The vegan brownie sundae was to die for. I also enjoyed my drinks - a house gin & tonic and a glass of Ohio Syrah. Mostly I was very disappointed with the tofu dish."

"It was ok, just really really overrated. The chairs were uncomfortable, the wine was mediocre, and we were seated so close to the tables beside us that I could hear them chewing (and they were not rude). We spent $90 on a meal worth maybe $35. Thanks to the appetizers being served around us (veggie charcuterie and something fishy), I felt like I was sitting on a barrel of sauerkraut in the bottom of an old fishing sloop. People in this town need to stop confusing "weird and overpriced" for "good"."

"Till offers delicous food! The only downside is the price, so I recommend this only for date nights. It is more of an upscale restaurant which matters only because it is near the OSU campus where a lot of fast food/take-out restaurants are located. (I am a graduated student at OSU.)
I had read reviews about the small portions compared to the price but neither my husband nor I finished our entrees. The pizza pies are a large size, and the pistachio tofu/faro curry I had was full of delicous flavors.
I enjoyed the atmosphere. We went at 7pm on a Monday night. It was romantic and a half full restaurant.

"While the food was excellent, I'm not sure some of the brunch items make the most of Till's capabilities and approach. A couple items were a bit too traditional (e.g., pancakes). "Was so looking forward to this but was sadly disappointed. First, our server was ODD! She twitched every time she spoke a word. We were very perplexed as to how someone could hire her as a server. Second, the drinks were WAY over priced. Really disappointing. Finally, other than the blue cheese donut, the food was rather average. So sad to say this because I love this man as a chef, but I was underwhelmed."

"This was my first time at Till and I wasn't sure what to expect. I really liked the atmosphere and our party of 4 got seated at a great table. We had an excellent server. Things I wish were different; valet parking option, and more varied drink menu. The food menu was varied but I didn't really enjoy what I ordered. Others at my table seemed to really like theirs. One person ordered a pizza and it was a huge portion. I think if I were to go back I would try the pizza."

"TILL specializes in biodynamic fare, but it is not your crunchy-granola-bean-sprout cuisine. All or most of the food is locally sourced. We had an excellent cheese plate for starters. My lamb burger was perfectly prepared. The wine list is a little too expensive (would like to see more $25ish bottles), but some interesting selections and a very knowlegable beverage person. The place is very noisy because of the high ceilings and hard surfaces. It can make for an energetic-feeling crowd, but do not expect to have quiet conversation when you go here."

"Had a wonderful experience dining at Till. Went on a Fri night at 6 pm. Glad we went early as the place is small and with the high ceiling it would probably be loud when crowded. I had the spinach salad and practically licked the plate! The salad was perfectly dressed and the cashews and bacon were a delicious combination. My date had the tomato bisque which was also very good. Dinner for me was the chicken fricassee. The chicken was very tender and the flavor of the sauce was fantastic. My date had the BD burger which he thought was a high $ for a burger but the quality, taste and presentation made it well worth it! I would definitely go back and may try the summertime on the patio. Timing of the service was perfect too not slow at all."

"We had a very enjoyable meal at Till. Service was absolutely excellent and the food was not just great but innovative and unique. In a world where the vast majority of restaurants serve variations on the same themes, Till offers unique and very tasty dishes. I also appreciated their ABC (anything but coast) wine club concept. I tried an Ohio Cabernet Franc and truly enjoyed it."

"We tried the Portobello Mac'n'Cheese and the Farro Tofu. While they were not bad, they were not spectacular enough to justify the price. It just seemed like something you could whip up at home in 20 minutes from a box. Another in our party got a lamb burger, which came out cold and very rare. After he sent it back, it came back much better."

"The food was excellent, the service was good but hampered by a lack of organization at the bar, we went for breakfast so I am referring to coffee. Open Table was a disaster, they did not have our reservation. I would recommend Till, but I can not recommend Open Table."

"Till was recently put in where the all-vegetarian restaurant Dragonfly used to be (my understanding is they are the same owners). While Till, unlike its predecessor, does offer mostly a meat-eater's menu, does seem to include many vegetarian and vegan options in their menu. We had the restaurant week menu, with almond crusted tofu as the main dish. We have been hard-pressed to fingers good restaurant tofu, and this had to be one of if not the best we've had!
The place is the same space as before, a little squished where it is hard not to overhear your neighboring table as they are practically on top of you. However, it's worth it to have much less of a wait than we used to have at the sparser Dragonfly.
We will certainly be back!"

"We came for Restaurant Week and are so glad that we did! The lamb burger with goat cheese was amazing. We added a veggie burger to our meal as well; it was absolutely the best part! Rivals Northstar's veggie burger in my opinion... Extremely well done old fashioned, too(always love those huge ice cubes!). Overall, an great little place with excellent food."

"Enjoyed our first visit to Till during restaurant week in Columbus. I picked Till for our date night, since we are shifting away from red meat and are conscious of where our food comes from when dining out. We enjoyed the upbeat ambiance and lively crowd. Till is in an old neighborhood corner building, and we entered and waited for our table though a gallery next door, as the restaurant tables in the main room back right up to the sidewalk facing windows. Till has a creative menu with lots of really good menu items sans meat, and good quality meat dishes for non vegetarians. Really great flavors. We really appreciate their local, sustainable, and responsible approach. A little wait to get our table, but we expected that based on reviews"

"TILL dynamic fare offers some of the best vegan, bio-dynamic food. This is a great place if you are looking for thoughtful | vegan | vegitarian dining. However, if you are looking for a nice rustic dinner - this will liekly not be your pick.
The service could not have been any better. The flavors and sauces were complex, but not pretentious. Very well done, but certainly a niche resturant."
