Happy Hour Monday-Saturday, 4:30-6:30, featuring discounted snacks and FREE BACON on the bar. Dinner service 6:00-11:00 Monday - Saturday, Sunday Brunch is a locals favorite served from 10:00-3:00 Sunday. "Just off the beaten path, 2 Cents offers a varied and interesting menu backed up with very tasty dishes at fairly reasonable prices. The atmosphere is outdoor country bistro, but there is an A/C bar area which looks like the perfect summer evening hangout. Staff are knowledgeable (thanks to notes) and attentive - worth several repeat visits to try the many appealing menu items."

"Funky gastropub on a quiet quirky Key West side street. All tables covered but outside. We were there on a beautiful night and it was pleasant. However, I am not sure what they do on steamy Summer nights. The food was well prepared and inventive with a good wine and drink menu. The indoor bar area was packed. Loved the light fixtures"

"2 Cents is off Devaul by 3/4 of a block. The food is inventive, fresh and makes use of unusual ingredients or unusual combinations. Portions are good size and prices are reasonable, especially for KW. Tried the Bahn Xeo and was surprised by a beef taco which gave the authentic tacos I've had a run for their money.
Highly recommend the Pear Gonnchi, light as air and cooked perfectly. FGT were done in a panko, very lightly which was different, as I am use to a more core meal centric coating for fried tomatos. These were a pleasant surprise.
Also tried a special drink made from Luxardo cherries and rum, thinking it was going to be overly sweet, again, surprised and much enjoyed."

"First visit to 2 Cents and a little tricky to locate but well worth the hunt.
The Cheese Puff App was light and delicious, the Artichoke Dip was a little over done but good, the Taco of the Day was Fried Chicken and had a little heat but was delicious but the Parpadella Pasta was truly amazing!"

"We had 2 Entrees, on was a mussels dish the other one was a caesar salad. The mussels were ok, but the caesar salad was bad. Just 2 halfs of a salat which have been shortly put on the grill. On top was some powdered parmesan, decorated with some cherry tomatoes.

"I'll start by saying that the food was absolutely incredible. Well-prepared and well thought out. We had beers to drink, and were disappointed with only a few craft options. The crowd was low key, but jovial. The decor was fantastic! My only complaint, and I have just one, is that the lighting was super dim: so dim that the hostess had to lend us her phone to see the menu! Some of the back tables could use some extra lighting at night."

"Made a same day reservation via OpenTable without difficulty. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the door by a friendly host. It was a chilly night by Key West standards & there was only outdoor seating available but we were seated under a permanent canopy & were cosy enough. We selected the cheese puffs for an appetizer which were so melt in your mouth delicious we ordered another round. Dinner was equally superb. The pappardelle pasta was divine. The daily tacos (chicken) were good to the last crumb. And lastly, a very large cheeseburger enough to make any carnivore drool. All told, a fab dinner for four + 2 bottles of reasonably priced wine + dessert which came in around $165. I highly recommend 2 Cents and would definitely go back."

"We had the 2 cents wings that were very good with a nice marinade and dipping sauce. The mussels with curry sauce was excellent as well. Our server Bobby was extremely efficient and didn't miss a beat. The dessert menus is a bit thin but the bar makes really good drinks. We will definitely return on next trip to key west."

"As locals, 2 Cents wasn't one we've heard much about, but it was incredible. The server was also the bartender, and was so helpful. He helped us choose wines, and answered our questions about the menu. We waited a while for our entrees (about 45 minutes), but the food made up for it. Despite our wait, our food was still hot - not under the heat lamp warm, but freshly made hot. And it was delicious, perfectly made. The whole experience was outstanding!"

"We heard great reviews for this place from a charter guide. As a result, we expected better. The charred pepper appetizer was good but not amazing. Both our dinners were very good (snapper and fish stew), but not distinct from every other Key West restaurant."

"The food at 2 Cents was great. We especially enjoyed the Bacon appetizer. My gnocchi meal was savory and not too heavy as gnocchi can sometime be. It was valentines day and they gave both women at the table roses...nice touch."
