Chez Boet
A chic Parisian-style bistro, Chez Boët serves authentic, market-inspired French classics such as Kobe boeuf bourguignon, bouillabaisse, orange duck, locally-sourced seafood, and cheese Fondue. Our menu is now 90% gluten-free and features Kobe beef, organic spices, and healthy French sea salt. The country-French cuisine is inspired by classic recipes of fresh seasonal ingredients handed down through generations of French home cooks. Mixologist Philippe recommends French aperitifs, his classic cocktails, digestifs or scotchs from the full bar. Warm service and designer decor create a welcoming ambiance perfect for an intimate dinner or for entertaining friends. An outdoor covered terrace has views of the waterfront village of Crayton Cove. Since 2003, Parisian imports Lisa and Philippe Boët have been organizing private parties for groups and celebrations.

"This was my second time at Chez Boet and another great dining experience. This time they had live piano music that made the dinner extra special. The owners, chefs and servers show great care in making sure you have a great experience. I will definitely be returning to Chez Boet on my next trip to Naples.

"We had a wonderful dinner. Food has a French influence but on the lighter side, at least what we had. Wines very good and reasonably priced. Service attentive and professional. It is a very friendly and not at all pretentious little restaurant. We intend to go back many times."

"This was our first visit to Chez Boet, but it certainly won't be our last. My husband thought his meal was the best he had this year in Naples, and one of the best we have had in our 9 years in Naples. He loved the pate, and would have bought some to take home had we not been leaving Florida two days later. He also loved the lamb, which was cooked perfectly."

"Not sure what you mean by goups. We had six. This was my third time back. Love the food, atmosphere, and the great service. We are always looking for the special place to take our friends and family when they visit. This was our favorite this year. We like to dine early so it was very quiet. My husband and I live here now so we are looking forward to returning many time."

"Chez Boet, true to its roots, is a classic French bistro of the first rank serving excellent food. The beet and reblochon cheese salad was most delicious and the mussels and frites were as good as I have had any where. My server, Richard, was attentive, informative and always cheerful in providing highly efficient service. I love this place."

"The restaurant is very inviting. The tables are spaced out to where you can have a conversation and not feel like the tables next to you hear every word. They were out of the lamb tagine, but since my date and I wanted lamb I got the 5 oz Carre D'Agneau and my boyfriend got the 10 oz Carre D Agneau. It was wonderful, also our waiter was right, a french restaurant always makes great french fries. Our waiter was also great with the wine selection. We had Camille Cayran 2009, Chateauneuf Du pape. It went so well with the duck."

"Somewhat typical American attempt at French food. Bad experience with two tries to serve a New York strip "Kobe".....both were so grisly as to be inedible, but they were dealt with promptly and finally not added to the bill. The fries were hand made and fresh and the salads were ok."

"A good small, family-run French restaurant. Food was good, but not exceptional. Sautéed foie gras appetizer was great, though the portion was a bit small. Beef bourguignon was flavorful, though sauce was a bit thin and meat could have been more tender. Snapper was ordinary. Crispy duck received a rave review. Wine list was good and pricing was fair. Hostess-owner was pleasant and attentive. Chez Boet is a good, reliable choice for neighborhood French fare, a bit off the crowded touristy path in Naples. Atmosphere, even when the restaurant neared capacity, was pleasant and the sound level was reasonably quiet. I like the place."

"1) The snapper + crab entree was a bland mush served lukewarm -- no doubt because it had been waiting a long time for the waiter to pick it up and serve it, see below.
2) The three window tables were occupied by three groups of four overdressed 0.1% types who were obviously valued regular customers. Our waiter hovered over them while ignoring us. He repeated broke off attending to us, from reciting the specials to bringing the dessert menu, in order to attend to those three tables -- a humiliating experience. Similarly the female owner hovered over those tables while we, seated immediately adjacent to them, while as well have been invisible."

"This used to be the Bamboo Cafe, and a few years ago, they have been in business 10 years now, it was excellent. Over time the food hasn't kept up. The hospitality is wonderful. The Boets are delightful, but they have left their wait staff to run the place and they just aren't up to the game. Service is impersonal and ver very slow. The food isn't improving either. The tagines which were excellent have become bland.There are some good thing,s the lamb is excellent, avoid the overcooked fish."

"France would be lucky to count this amoung their finest restuarants. The Braised beef had a honey-balsamic reduction, which was incredible. Very creative. The vegetables were fresh and well prepared. The wine list contains some of the Rhone Valley's finest wines, and affordable, (2010 Cotes du Rhone). The flourless chocolate cake was the best we've ever had, there's not even a close second. The creme brulee was impeccable. My wife and I have traveled all over the US, eatting at many of the finest restuarants. This is now our favorite."

"Based on other reviews, we decided to try the restaurant. I had a glass of Risling that was good. We ordered escargot for an appetizer. It was very good and we used the bread to soak up the remaining sauce. I ordered the duck and my friend ordered the 5 oz. rack of lamb. It is nice to see a restaurant serve smaller portions of an entree. Both dishes were made exactly how we wanted them and they were excellent. I used the slice of orange to give the duck even more of an orange flavor. The dessert was an apple tartin. It was a little to sweet for me. I wish French restaurants would serve chocolate mousse though. I miss it. Service was excellent. But, the restaurant does get noiser later in the evening. We will definitely be back."

"My date and I agreed that the whole experience was average. The appetizers we shared, lescargot and GRAS, were wonderful while our entrees of rack of lamb and duck were simply ok. The service was very good and the ambience a welcome escape from the very loud local establishments."

"I was disappointed with the entree that I ordered. It was supposed to be a dish based on the Moroccan style of cooking, but what it actually was , was an American version of it. I have been to Morocco several times and expected that the food would be , at least, somewhat like the description of the entree on the menu, but it was the very "watered down" version. My friend had the escargots and she said they were very good; I had the Foie Gras, and it was good as well. However, we both had the same entree; neither of us was impressed. Still looking for more than mediocre food in Naples."

"Dinner on Valentine's Day at Chez Boet was disappointing. Our reservation was for 7:30 and it was almost 9:00 before we were seated. The restaurant appearred to be way overbooked as there where many people waiting to be seated. We ordered the rack of lamb and the Beef Wellington. The lamb was very tough and the Wellington was soggy. This was our first visit to this restaurant and we did not get a good first impression but given the occasion of Valentine's Day we will try it again. The menu looks good and the atmosphere would be good if it were not so crowded."

"We had a wonderful meal at Chez Boet. The food was outstanding, including the pâté, the lamb tagine, and the bouillabaisse. We were served at a leisurely pace and were able to easily converse with our friends without noise competition. It was one of the best meals we have had so far in Naples, and we definitely will return."

"Once again, we were most pleased with our dining experience at Chez Boet. The food was delicious and well prepared - pate maison is one of my favorites here and the duck continues as one of my first choices when I peruse the menu. The special snapper was excellent. "Chez Boet is a lovely french restaurant. The food was wonderful. When we go back we will ask for Booth #15 for 2 or Table #31 for four people. We were on a Saturday Night and they had live music outside to the left. I had the Petite Portion of Rack of Lamb and it was awesome and Wes enjoyed the yellow tail snapper!"

"Everything that each person in our party ordered was prepared to the highest standards, from the escargot to the tarte Tatin. We were able to have noise free conversations. The service was liesurely, but not slow. The waiter was always at hand, but never intrusive. Toward the end of our meal one of the owners stopped by our table to inquire if everything was OK. She talke with us briefly, not interfering with evening out."
