"We went to boundary road with a group of 6 and absolutely loved it. The food was amazing, from the charcuterie/cheese plate, to the bread, to all the appetizers (actually, the pierogies just tasted like regular pierogies...could barely taste the quark/black pepper, but they were still tasty!), and everyone loved their entrees. Boundary Road also has great ambiance; you feel a bit like you are sitting in a super trendy barn out in the country somewhere. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The desserts were also really good! The brownie was the best, with the salted caramel gelato and caramel popcorn. Mmm, I want it now!"

"I've been about 5 times in the past 6 months. The people here are consistently friendly and happy to make a nice evening for you without being overly solicitous. The crowd is also low key and friendly and is a great place to meet up when you don't want an overly aggressive / energetic scene. Fabulous cocktails! And I have seen young children there earlier in the evening without incident, so it seems that it is family friendly without catering wholly to kids. It has become a go-to spot for us from across town."

"Disappointed that every dish,other than a bowl of crab soup, was unflavorful. Were there on a Sunday night so maybe the chef, who had been at Cashions and Fiola, 2 of our favorite restaurants, was not cooking and his substitute was incompetent. Also, was told they sold out of a dish(bison short ribs) on Saturday so it was not available Sunday. Hate to think that if it were still available I'd have been eating a day old dish."

"Excellent food, prepared when you order. I went with a party of six, none of whom had been to Boundary Road before. Without exception, everyone enjoyed the food and would return. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely on my list of restaurants to visit again!"

"The swordfish with fennel, fingerling potatoes, tapanade was awesome;small portion but enough. Simple house salad with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and a light vinaigrette dressing. Desserts to die for. Shared apple pie with cinnamon gelato and a brownie sundae with salted carmel gelato and carmel popcorn. The apple pie had a very thin crust and the apples were finely cut. The brownie was almost a liquid consistency inside; the popcorn pieces were so small they were hardly noticeable which was OK. This is the place where the Obamas ate with a donor to Organizing for America early in the campaign. The chef/owner, Brad, told us all about the visit and Senators Warner (VA) and Bennet (CO) were eating there the night we were there."

"Food was fantastic.
Server was obviously new, and didn't know what type of beverages they had on hand (iced tea??), and we had to ask to have our drinks refilled a couple of times. Otherwise, no problems. (And to his credit, the restaurant was quite busy.)
Ambiance was nice.
And did I mention that the food was FANTASTIC?? I'm definitely going back. Repeatedly."
