"We took our family to Farmhouse for Mother's Day dinner and had a fantastic experience. Everything was done very well and the food was exceptional. Our server was very personable and made us feel right at home. The proprietor visited the table to check on our food, which was a nice touch. Will definitely go back."

"I enjoy the setting and food at the Farmhouse but it is quit pricey for my liking. $128 for 3 people to eat lunch and have 1 drink seems a bit much for me. I can't complain about the service but there wasn't anything memorable about the meal to me. 3 small pieces of trout with green beans, black eyed pea salad and cheese grits caserole. Probably won't do it again unless I have money to blow."

"Both my Mother and God Mother enjoyed the Farmhouse for Mother's Day. The ambiance and view were breath taking. The food was mediocre, however the service made up for the lack of food quality. After dinner we drove around the property and my mother fell in love. They both can't wait to return. The Farmhouse was a true treat!!!"

"This was our first visit to the restaurant, which we chose over the Dillard House. The menu selection was very small, but more importantly, the food itself was not particularly great. I will say that the biscuits were good. We were able to fill up on them and not leave hungry. I would guess that we ate less than half of what was on our plates.
The staff was friendly, the service was good and the ambiance was pretty good - but overshadowed by the meal itself. We felt that it was expensive for what we got. We spent a little time touring the development which kept the trip (quite a drive from NE Atlanta) from being a complete bust."

"We have eaten at the Farmhouse numerous times and have always enjoyed the experience "out on the farm". However, because we have eaten there so many times it finally hit us that the menu is getting a little tiresome. Although I thought I could never get enough of the famous fired chicken - I think I've had my fill. The unfortunate thing is the limited menu offers very little choice. My wife ordered the pan seared trout and although it was tasty the portion size was too small (it would have weighed ~3oz on a scale). The server was not too accomodating - he simply asked if we wanted to order another (as in 3rd) entree to supplement what we had. What I was expecting was their offer to supplement the fish portion with another ounce or two."

"The setting is exquisite. The surrounding grounds include sweeping green lawns, lush heirloom trees and flowering vines and shrubs, lovely kitchen and herb gardens, and frolicking baby lambs and goats all in a bucolic, peaceful country setting. We watched a wren feeding her babies in a nest directly outside the window from our table on the beautiful all-season porch! You can feel your blood pressure dropping as you drive into the property! The food is equal to the extraordinary surroundings. This is a mostly farm-to-table restaurant using fresh locally sourced ingredients including organic fruits and veggies grown right on the property at Serenbe's own organic farm. Every meal has one or more 'Wow!' moments. The food is fabulous!"

"such an elegant and well prepared meal---and god knows I never thought I would say that about fried chicken!!! not a ton of choices which is just fine. sorry I missed sitting in their bar for happy hour---it looked so cozy and intimate there---and really sorry I didn't try to book a room---staying at the inn here I feel would have likely been as special as the meal. As good as the food was the highlight was definitely getting to watch the little lamb frolick right outside the restaurant--glad he wasn't on the menu!"

"Dining at The Farmhouse was absolutely delightful. We had a 6 PM reservation and we were seated at 6 PM. The service was excellent. The three of us had a salad with fried green tomatoes which was excellent. The shrimp and grits was the best we have ever tasted. The biscuits were incredible. Our guest had the meatloaf dish which he praised. The chocolate pecan pie with ice cream was "to die for". We can't wait to eat at The Farmhouse again."

"It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The food was great, we both ordered the fried chicken dinner. The sides that came with it were cole slaw, leek bread pudding and black eyed peas. The cole slaw was amazing as well as the leek bread pudding. The peas where a little bland but not enough to dissapoint. The weird thing was that out of our two dinners, my girlfriends chicken was tough and didn't compare to the taste of mine. I thought the chicken was excellent and she thought it was nothing special, I couldn't understand why until I tasted hers. It was like night and day."

"We ate lunch at The Farmhouse after church on Easter. We had our parents in town and wanted to try a "special" place for lunch. We were seated outside promptly and the food was a course meal so there was no time spent waiting for food. The food was very good, but it was a course meal which could be difficult for picky eaters; however the menu is posted online. Children do not have their own menu and therefore pay the same as adults. I can think of no real complaints. Next time I will probably sit a little further away from the outdoor heaters they have...I was a little too close to one of them for may taste, but I am certain they would have turned the heat down upon request. We will certainly dine again at The Farmhouse."

"Easter lunch at The Farmhouse is absolutely awesome! This was our second time celebrating Easter this way and it is wonderful. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The owner made a point of circulating throughout the dining rooms to say hello and chat at each table. After lunch, the children enjoyed a few hours playing at the farm - running through the meadows and woods, saying hi to the sheep, goats and cows and jumping on the in-ground trampoline. It was a perfect Easter!"

"The menu is very small, but that allows them to perfect each dish. Make sure you check their menu online before going, since it changes constantly.
Every food item we tried was excellent. Appetizers, salad, soup, and entree. We didn't order dessert, although I'm sure it would have been great.
Portions are on the small side, especially the appetizers. They were not a good value, and we won't order them again. But the starters and entrees were excellent.
The location is quiet and peaceful with great charm."

"The Farmhouse experience is a gift for anyone who's tired of over-processed restaurant food, places with terrible ambience or waitstaff who seem eager to end their shift. From the crisp table linens to the delicately shaved parsnips in the fresh dinner salad, this place is a sensory delight and a visual, as well as tactical, treat. You know they're doing so much right when the mere fragrance of cinnamon on their delicate French toast sends you swooning! Maybe it's the location; acres of countryside with well-cared for animals nearby does make for the perfect contrast to a cozy meal. Bring your well-behaved children and they'll find it hospitable and friendly, too. My husband and I enjoyed the decor and seeing the cooks up-close at work."

"We love Serenbe. We have been there numerous times(6-8 times)and really enjoy the relaxing "feel" to the entire place. My 14 year old daughter - who is a little high strung loves this place and really seems to relax when she's there. The Farmhouse food is very good and the fried chicken cannot be beat! We ate there Easter Sunday afternoon and sat at a table on the front porch of the main house. The service - as usual - was very good and Marie stopped by for a quick chat to make sure all was well. Fortunately the weather was good making for a very enjoyable afternoon meal with the whole family. Serebe is a "gem" of a place - and takes the "hustle and bustle" out of fine dining. If you have not visited Serenbe I highly recommend it."

"An amazing farm to table brunch with fantastic service! The fried chicken was moist and crispy with just the right amount of seasonings, THE BEST EVER!! And the peach sangria was incredible. We've already made our reservations for Mother's Day and look forward to another delicious meal!"

"The Easter Brunch was our first time visiting the restaurant and it was really good. We have 3 small children and the staff was very attentive to their needs. The menu is fairly limited, but the selections were really good. The manager even made a point to apologize for our table being a little cramped by offering complimentary drinks. It was an extremely nice gesture and not expected by us. The atmosphere was peaceful and our meal was great. We will be visiting again"

"While menu is limited, the choices were varied and everything we had was well prepared and nicely presented. The portion sizes are perfect. The service was friendly but harried and scattered. Restaurant was not crowded but staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. While I don't know that I would seek out another trip down to Serenbe just to dine at the Farmhouse, if someone invited us or we found ourselves in the area, I would definitely dine there again."

"Our Farmhouse experience was just awesome!!! It made us feel good about the farm to table concept. The food was cooked just right...veggies retaining all nutrients. It was seasoned well and even though there wasn't a lot to choose from there was a nice variety to satisfy the palette. Overall, it was a great experience and worth the drive!"

"My wife and I celebrated Valentine's Day at the Farmhouse, which had a special, limited menu for that evening, consisting of a choice of soup or salad, Beef or fish main course and a dessert. The restaurant was crowded, we arrived about 25 minutes earlier than our reservation, and we seated immediately. Great ambiance, not too noisy, the food was delicious and we will definite be back. This an out of the way spot, but well worth the trip. Can't wait for the next opportunity to dine here again."
