"I was looking for somewhere different to take my wife for mother's day and found Culina thanks to Open Table. The reviews definitely helped finalize my decision and now I'm going to add my own.
The food was outstanding. The menu was really interesting and creative. It was hard to decide what to order because everything sounded amazing. My wife, my daughter, and I all ordered the Blueberry Pie Bread French Toast. O.M.G.!! Absolutely incredible. It was coated with frosted flakes and garnished with blueberries and a strawberry on top of a dollop of whipped cream. We will be back to try some of the other items for sure.
The setting was dim and romantic, even at 10am! Great spot for foodies. I highly recommend Culina. We had a great experience"

"After several friends' recommendations I booked a reservation at Culina. Our waitress was really cool and knowledgeable. The food was outstanding especially when you put it in context the the run of the mill food available in Rock Hill. Normally we would have to travel to Charlotte to experience great tapas style dinner and now it's in our back yard."

"Portions were not apt for sharing as described. Our crab stuffed perch was riddled with fish bones, and we did not even receive an apology. I would say culina is more of a tapas/appetizer type of restaurant rather than a satisfying meal. We left hungry."

"Make a reservation - seating is limited - and request a booth for a little more privacy. We ordered the special cheese plate appetizer, and we got the crab stuffed flounder and pork tacos for dinner; the pork tacos were the stand-out, and we're looking forward to trying the Cheerwine fried chicken next time. Drinks are good and inexpensive, and the atmosphere is dark and cozy. Just what Rock Hill needed!"

"Me and my husband went there for the first time for our anniversary the other night. Really enjoyed it. Tomato pie was amazing. Loved my food, my husband had the flat iron stake and said the jam was too sweet for a dinner. but everything had a lot of flavor and we will go back. perfect portion sizes!"

"Upscale food and perfectly sized menu. Exactly what Gordon Ramsey would recommend. The atmosphere can feel cramped, especially if you get sat at one of the tables in the middle of the room. My wife and I went out to dinner for her birthday. We have two small children and enjoy a night out to talk to each other without being interupted by a four year old. The only problem was that our table was three feet from the bar. I had to yell across the table to speak to my wife. I also felt that people were on top of me while I ate. I would recommend asking for a booth away from the bar. The food was good, but here's my issue... after spending $60 on dinner, I left hungry. Don't go on an empty stomach."

"Rock Hill has needed a restaurant like this for some time. The food is original. The chef who we spoke with at the end of our dinner is energetic, creative, and environmentally conscious. This is my second visit and I've enjoyed it very much both times. Had the ragu the first time - very hearty meat sauce with excellent garlic bread, well presented. Had excellent couscous as an appetizer this time and flank steak as an entree. The wines are reasonably priced and the selection eclectic. Both times the place was packed giving an energetic ambience. Try it. You'll probably meet some friends if you do."
