"Never again during restaurant week My husband and I love Oceans 5. Its always been great on service and food Took 20 minutes for waiter to appear Appetizers were cool not hot and we had to sit in white folding chairs because table for 8 next to our table had our chairs. Oh and they showed up 1/2 hr late and some of their party never showed up at all! so i sat on an uncomfortable chair while the nice seats went unused! I ordered rice pilaf but received risotto that was bland and unedible. We didnt get dessert. Way too noisy to stay Well go back on another night and hope things are back to normal"

"My wife was in the mood for sea bass and I saw that Oceans 5 had some good reviews on Open Table so we took the 40 minute drive to try it out. We had reservations for 9:00 but we arrived about 15 minutes early. We were seated in about ten minutes. It was nearly 40 minutes from the time we sat until our first course arrived. They had a guitar player, which was nice, but the noise level was so high, conversation was nearly impossible without leaning in and nearly shouting.
To take our order the waiter had to lean in until he was 6-12 inches away to hear our order. Even with that, he got my son's order wrong because he couldn't hear him, and it had to be sent back. When it came back out it was over-cooked. Other than that the food was good."

"Open table messed up our reservations some how. We got two confirmation emails but the restaurant had "nothing in their system". One of the hostesses was nasty about it as if it was our fault. We went to the bar to wait. The bartender was sweet and appolgetic. She comped our drinks. The other hostess got us in only 5 minutes after our reservation. There was no reason for the attitude from the first hostess. She could have just said it might be a little extra time but she would make it work."

"Went by accident restaurant week. The food choices were wonderful and the main course and dessert fantastic. A little disappointed in the beet salad but the seared tuna was great, perfectly prepared with just the right zing wasabi sauce."

"Food was very fresh, a wonderful choice if you love fresh seafood. Ambiance is nice but overly loud and unfortunatly small, so your in tight quarters. If you have a party of four or larger make sure you have a large table. Our waiter was pleasant and the wine list was good. Recommend going with a smaller group and on a week night. We were also asked nicely to leave for a larger group? that wasnt good, we we're only there for a little over an hour? As I do understand the need for making room for larger groups, it is unprofessional to ask a guest to leave unless they over stayed their welcome, in which case we clearly didnt. I dont consider 70 minutes too long at all, the tables all around us were there before we ever got there??"

"Server was inattentive and quite slow although the busser was quick to refill our water. It took 45 minutes to get our appetizer and salad was miniscule. The main course(tuna) was outstanding and well prepared."

"Very nice interior. The seafood market is adjacent to the dining area in the front, and the bar area is in the back. We went on a Saturday night and the bar appeared very crowded. Dining area is very nice but tables are very close together. Food was outstanding. We had new england clam chowder and baked clams for appetizers and both were outstanding. Had monkfish special and the crabmeat in pastry menu item for entree. Again both were excellent. Think this is the best seafood I have had on Long Island."

"Food was delicious. I had the Maryland lump crabcakes and they were amazing. I got the shoestring fries with that and they were also very tasty. My wife had shrimo with a wonderful rissotto. The food was a little pricey but definitely worth it. They have a nice wine list and also a nice variety of wines. We are definitly going to go again."
