Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, a long overdue date night, or celebrating with a group, The Melting Pot Restaurant is perfect for any occasion. "The Melting Pot is a great place for celebrating a special event, or just enjoying a fun evening with friends. You can relax (once you make your menu choice) and enjoy the food and time together. Be sure you allow a couple of hours for a full 4-course meal. Don't rush it. TASTE the food, especially the dessert course. The chocolate is fantastic. If you only go for dessert, you won't be sorry. Have fun!"

"Went there with my husband for my birthday. We were seated at a romantic little booth just big enough for two people, high walls so it was very private. The server was excellent. He was knowledgeable, helpful, stopped by several times to check on us, but not so often that it was intrusive. The food was plenty, we left there full! I definitely recommend this restaurant."

"This was our first time at the Melting Pot. We were impressed with the wait staff. Our waiter was wonderful when explaining the different ways to experience the Melting Pot. We really liked the way he was not "pushy" like other restaurants. We were able to eat at our own pace and he would casually just walk by and check if we were ready for the next course. We did not feel rushed. The atmosphere is laid back, quiet, and very enjoyable."

"My wife and I visited the GR location while in town for the weekend. I had made reservations the following day for the dinner, we were seated immediately upon arriving. Our server was delightful and knew the menu options from top to bottom. We were able to enjoy our dinner thanks to the great seating for two towards the back, which was free of distractions."

"The first time we went we had a great experience. The waiter was very helpful since we had never been

"Melting pot was a fun place to go out with a group of friends. The cost would stop me from going there often ($60 for one person with a drink and tip), but for a special occasion it is fun. The service was fantastic and the ambiance was nice. I don't usually frequent chain restaurants, but this was still a fun and very tasty experience."

"Open Table online reservations made getting a table easy.
Hostess friendly and proactive in being sure our young ones (6 , 9 & 11) were happy.
Service slow, but appears our server was charged with lots of tables that evening.
Food was good. Like their new "a la carte" type menu.
Had concerns our younger kids wouldn't do well here (food choices & length of meal), but discovered they have a kids menu. They even have Mac & Cheese option for picky eaters. With 2 adults & 3 kids, we order 2 "full experiences" and an entree for the 11yo. there was plenty of food for everyone."

"Pleasant experience overall. Options were limited because of lunch hours on Mothers Day. I also felt for the price the portions weren't adequate. Our server was a little slow in between courses. The food itself and the quality of the food was delicious and was pleased with that. I probably will only return if the other half is interested in going."

"The Melting Pot seems to have taken a step backward having moved to smaller salads, smaller entrees, and having made the decision to step away from the Big Night Out. The changes they have made to the menu and portion sizes for each course seem like steps backwards. We used to enjoy going for a special occaision but don't feel like doing so anytime soon."

"Dining at the Melting Pot is normally a slam-dunk 5 star experience, but this time things fell short of the mark. Our waiter messed up our drink orders and the menu changes had a big impact on the wallet. The most annoying part of the night was the large party near us that had several small children. Not sure who thought that hot oil, sharp sticks, and toddlers was a good combination, and I certainly don't blame the restaurant for the patrons, but nosiy distractions simply highlighted the little things that went wrong."

"Reservation was at 8pm, we were not seated till 8:30. We ordered the 4-course meal. The drinks & cheese fondue came at an appropriate time, but after that everything went bad. It took forever to remove cheese fondue & bring the salad, then the meat course. And the whole time our drink were never replenished. Now I know this is not a normal restaurant, & it is going to take longer, but I have been here before when it has not taken this long. After the meat course was done & they took away our dishes, I then literally said out loud I think they forgot about us. We were the only table left in the restaurant, and still waited forever for the dessert course. It was uncomfortable eating while the staff was cleaning, I just wanted to leave."

"The service is outstanding, but the food is just so-so. I felt that the cheese course was the best, but that the items to dip weren't anything special. Just very dry and hard cut up bread pieces and veggies and apples...stuff I could get at the grocery store. It needs to be better than that. And the entree was unimpressive. Because the cooking style is the same for all the meats on your plate, the steak tasted exactly like the chicken. Who wants that? It's a good restaurant to experience once, but I don't understand anyone wanting to return. We've been twice in two years (special occasions) and we won't be back. The salads are tiny, the food is over-rated. And you pay big bucks just for the experience not the quality of the food."

"The description of the Caesar salad said the pine nuts were parmesan encrusted, but they actually seemed to be carmelized, very sweet, kind of an odd note in a Caesar, probably would not order that again. The rest of the food was delicious. The server was very engaging. The entire restaurant was suffused with an odd smell, I could still smell it on my clothes after leaving the restaurant. I can only assume it was from the various pots of simmering wines? It was a bit off-putting. I am not sure if that would stop me from going again, but perhaps better air circulation would help? Overall, the food was delicious, the service was top-notch and the experience was definitely unique!"

"We got a four course experience, and wow, what an amount of food! We ordered two of the entrees but different ones so we could share. Everything was great! Probably could have just ordered the entrees and the dessert. By the time we got to the chocolate pot we were so full we could hardly stand it. Everything was well worth it. We had gone with friends before and it wasn't as fun, but with a couple we really enjoyed ourselves."

"I've wanted to visit The Melting Pot for awhile, and I finally convinced my fiance to go a few nights ago. Overall I was pretty disappointed. I love fondue, but the cheddar fondue we ordered was extremely bitter and neither of us could get much of it down. When our main meal came we learned we would have to cook the meat ourselves in a pot of broth. Rather than enjoying our time together, we sat quietly trying to properly cook 2 pieces of meat at a time. Each piece takes about 2 minutes, so it was about that long between bites. The one highlight was dessert. We ordered the chocolate peanut butter fondue and it was just sweet enough and delicious. But 2 hours and $90 later I'm left wondering why we put ourselves through it."

"Perfect way to celebrate my birthday with my husband!! Loved the privacy we had to enjoy our evening. We enjoyed the Bacon and Brie cheese fondue and I was really impressed with the Strawberry Almond salad!! We look forward to joining the Melting Pot again soon!!"

"Food was great, as well as, the wine list. One note, we were told the two larger wine glasses (bigger mouth for breath-ability of the red wine) were the only two in the restaurant. Is this truly the case? If so, for a restaurant who prides itself on the extensive wine list (yes, it really was nice) I am shocked to hear that the variety of wine glasses wasn't as vast. Even if you do have more than the two, you really need to extend the numbers."

"HORRIBLE service!!!! 10 minutes went by and no one cam to our table. We had to find someone. they went to get us someone and 10 more minutes went by. we were on 20 minutes before even ordering drinks. dinner took 2.5 hours!"

"The food was delicious! The drinks were overpriced and not consistent from one drink to another and had very poor mixing. The hostess was nice, polite and professional, as well as the server that brought our fondue pots out. Our waitress was less than desirable but the experience itself was wonderful!"

"This is a unique restaurant that is great for special occasions and they have great monthly events such as Girls Night Out, a special menu with set pricing. Don't go on an evening when you have somewhere you have to go afterwards because the restaurant is an event unto itself and is meant to be enjoyed leisurely."

"opentable you helped make our 6 year anniversary unforgettable! My reservation for the Melting Pot was my first expierience using opentable, and i was a bit sketched out when requesting specifics for my reservation requests in a box, but it worked out perfect! I requested the touch of romance package, where they seat you in lovers lane and put rose petals down on the table, which was very romantic. Our waiter was great and the service was a bit slow but it kinda made it better since it gave us more time to be alone! i highly recommend opentable, and of course The Melting Pot for very special occasions!"

"Went there with friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. Always have enough food and the variety of cooking styles, cheese and chocolate you get when you go in a group makes it almost better for a larger group than a couple. Although, the quiet booths in the back are among the most romantic spots for dinner in town...
Highly recommend lobster in the mojo cooking broth."

"My wife and I went here for our date night as part of the Weekend To Remember marriage getaway at Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. It was our second time going and it was just as good if not better the second time around. Great food, not too much noise. Great service. Only complaint was that I had put in for a handicapped accessible area and when we got there they had us in a booth which doesn't work so we had to wait. But other than that it was a tremendous experience."
