"This was our first visit to IRON and we were impressed. Food and service were outstanding! We are anxious to return after renovations to see what improvements have been made. We also like the idea of bringing our own wines and paying cork fee. Would like to return with group of foodie friends! Congrats on your success thus far."

"Chef Alex is a rare gem gracing the small city of Pensacola with his culinary genius. Iron's manager, Julie, is also one of the rare finds among restaurant managment whom Iron should be grateful to have as part of their staff. Both her's and Alex's willingness to make our Iron experience special and memorable made our afternoon lunch into a magical experience. We would highly recommend Iron to anyone visiting or living in the Pensacola area."

"Unique menu including quail, elk, rabbit, etc.- also, we were told that it changes often. We had the rabbit & elk rib eye - excellent. Also had escargot & oysters for appetizer which were also excellent. The escargot had a very flavorful sauce & was done perfectly (so was the oysters but the escargot was my favorite & not on most menus). I would definitely give this restaurant a visit."

"Based upon my recent first dinner at IRON, I look forward to returning and working my way through pretty much the entire menu. There is something here for the meat and potatoes types. But diners should try the dishes which give the talented chef free rein for his imagination. But for the disappointing flan one of my companions chose to share at dessert, I would have rated the food outstanding."

"Small menu ,but enough differing choices,superbly crafted and presented,from appetizers to dessert.Very reasonable corkage policy! Majority of our group of four,each of whom had different entrees, felt probably the best restaurant experience currently available in Pensacola."

"The food is fantastic, sevice is excellent very knowledgable, courteous and friendly. only draw back is the noise level when the dining area is full. Love the oysters and seafood dishes. Had slipper tails for the first time. Beautiful presentation for desserts. We will be back."

"Ahhhh-mazing!!! The seasonally fresh ingredients meticulously blended in a new southern cuisine style harmoniously combined with thoughtful service and natural ambience made for a very fine dining experience for us this past Valentine's Day (2013). My wife had the Ahi diner. It was obvious, from across the room (yes...the serving was large), that it was the finest grade we've ever seen in this area. I do believe it was still wiggling when it was placed on our table. Words cannot explain the experience of her first bite, but the utter satisfaction on her face was unmistakeable! The lady at the next table told her waitress that she wants "what she's having!" Needless to say, IRON is our new all time favorite!!!"

"We had a reservation at 6:30 and was seated right away. You will need to make a reservation for dinner, as restaurant is small. There were four of us and we ordered the Lamb, Short Ribs, Blackened Grouper, and the Chicken dish. All dishes were excellent. Started out with the corn dusted oysters with the slaw as an appetizer. They were yummy."

"IRON is Pensacola's coolest new restaurant. Everything on the menu I've tried is delicious and is on par with the best restaurants in bigger cities. Pensacola foodies haven't had such pleasure on a consistent basis since Elise Coastal Dining. Keep up the great work!!"

"Iron is without a doubt the best restaurant in Pensacola. The food is just as gorgeous as it is delicious. The chefs are geniuses in my mind. The open kitchen sets a fun atmosphere and allows the customers to see how the kitchen team works impeccably well together. They are masters at what they do; they are a pleasure to watch. I would recommend this dining experience to anyone for lunch and dinner. It is well worth the drive!!"

"The food was phenomenal. I truly cannot say enough about the food. We are frequent diners at Jackson's and we feel that the food definitely rivals, if not beats that of Jackson's. Pensacola has a major asset in this chef and his kitchen staff. The presentation of each dish was elegant and creative. We loved that they had Pat from 5 1/2 come in and help develop some signature cocktails, as he is hands down the best mixologist in the area. The wait staff was good; there's just a little room for refining the hostess and the quality of the facilities. The noise level was a little more than desired and smoke from the kitchen pervaded the dining area. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back."
