Dining Italian Style is not just for sustenance, it"s the coming together of family & friends. At La Villetta, the meals prepared by Chef Maria are Old World recipes and her own creations prepared and served to her family and friends for over 25 years. From Caserta, Italy, she learned her culinary art under the tutelage of Chef Angelo Mirra. Maria with Angelo moved to Montreal, Canada via Basil, Switzerland where they worked as a team for eight years at the Hotel Simblone. In Montreal, the first of three 4-star restaurants opened and introduced Maria's style of Italian cuisine.
Under the management of Maria's son & daughter, these restaurants still serve the people of Montreal Casa Cacciatore.
In 1985 SALVATORE SELLITTO and MARIA COSTANZA opened Casa Cacciatore in Pompano Beach Florida. For 7 years their patrons from Boca Raton demanded they bring to Boca their real sense of Italian hospitality. CUCINA - RICERCATA E GENUINA BUON APPETITO
"I was very surprised when we came in the maitre'd showed us to a table behind the bar and when we asked for a different table he said, "You made a reservation through open table this is the only table available", as we looked around we saw quite a few empty tables, it seems if you reserve through open table you're a second class citizen."

"We wanted to go some place different and had read wonderful reviews about La Villetta Ristorante so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was incredible. We ordered the whole yellowtail snapper which they are known for and you can see why. The homemade pasta was delicious. Desserts were great. The entire evening was wonderful. Will definitely be back soon."

"My wife and I shared the salt-baked fish (yellow-tail snapper, I think) and the fresh pasta dish, Fettucine Zia Theresa. At $35, the fish may seem a bit pricey, and there is not a large amount of fish to eat. That said, this superlative dish surpassed any fish we have been served anywhere in the world. Perfectly fresh, perfectly prepared, the salt crust seals in the flavor. (The salt is the cooking medium; it is not a seasoning.) The fish was accompanied by a pedestrian salad, slightly overlooked zucchini and perfectly roasted potatoes. The fresh pasta, while not as spectacular as the fish, was excellent. Our impression was that this is a serious food-lovers' restaurant."

"We love this place......there are many restaurants to choose from in Boca but this is one of our favorites......we love the ambience, friendliness, service and most of all the food.......especially the yellowtail snapper cooked in sea salt and the black linguine with lobster.....the fish is always the freshest and the food is always cooked perfectly......I highly recommend this place.....you won't be disappointed whether you like meat , seafoood or pasta dishes....they are all delicious."

"Best Italian food in Boca, includes free salad with every entree. Sal and Maria (Owners) cook everything to order. Boca police guard the place every night, you will be safe!"

"Dinner was great. Salted fish outstanding . A couple of dishes came out wrong eg dressing on salad when person asked for no dressing, sauce on fish when person asked or it on side. Other than that dinner was very good. Waiter SSS a bit harried. Maybe need another waiter to help the one we had"

"A wonderful meal with great service. We were seated in a booth at the back of the bar. Cozy and good for conversation. The main dining room seemed more noisy. This was our first experience at La Villetta but it won't be our last. Grazie."

"We had the most delicious dinner here this past Valentine's Day.....the house special is Yellowtail Snapper roasted in a mound of salt that melts in your mouth and one of the specials that night was a black linguine with a shelled whole lobster in a red sauce that was unbeleivably good.....this place is a gem and we can't wait to get back to it soon.......fantastic all the way around !!!!"
