Da Capo brings to Connecticut a recipe found in Little Italy in the early 1900's: "Authentic New York Style Thin Crust Pizza." Almost a century later, da Capo proudly presents our famous "Old World" recipe, along with classic family dining as well as contemporary Italian pasta dishes.

"Awesome NY style pizza. Our favorite NY Pizza joint is Patsy's on East 77th and you can definitely taste the influence in the pizza. We also highly recommend the Tuscana Salad. It was amazing!!!"

"da Capo is a true neighborhood gem. The food is consistently delicous and the portions are huge! We had enough for lunch the next day. The atmosphere in the bar in energetic and fun. The restaurant is little calmer which gives you the chance to hear your conversations."

"Lunch at daCapo's was good. We both had salads with proteins added (chicken or salmon or shrimp). They were large and satisfying. The food quality was good and the service was good as well. It is a good lunch spot!"

"Quality Italian food, good portions and good selection of wine. Can be quite busy on a weekend night, but I made a reservation through Open Table 30 minutes before we arrived and were seated immediately even though there were several walk-in groups waiting. Service was a little slow but understandable with the crowd that night. Pleasantly surprised."

"If you are looking for a casual bite and a bar like ambience, DaCapo's can fit the bill. But it is not a "great place". Since it is convenently located, we have dined there several times. We have noticed that the salads are getting smaller and some of the items that are listed as being in the salad can be missing (for example, walnuts have not been included in the Baby Organic Greens that I have been served the last two visits!). It is VERY noisey so that you have trouble hearing each other. At this visit, one of our meals was served MUCH LATER than the other three meals, much later! We did not complain or make a fuss about this at all, but the waitress took the meal off of our bill due to the tardiness."

"Incredibly poor service. They did not seem to pay any attention to reservations. The staff seemed both clueless and spread too thin. Did not seat us until 30 minutes after the time of our reservation. Had to ask for water. Bread was a long time in coming. Watery martinis."

"Food was very good-generous salads, fresh You are sitting on someone's lap-overcrowded and extremely noisy! Will not return! We were in and out of there in 40 minutes as everything was rushed."

"We've never been disappointed by da Capo, and this night was no exception. Food was great--my wife had veal and shrimp which she loved. Service was quick and attentive. Always a great value."

"great service, appropriate suggestions from waitress, they got us out in the amount of time that we requested, food was very good, I didn't think the veal was as great as I had heard, I thought it was a funny texture, would go back but would not order the veal"

"da Capos is a comfortable place and has a good menu that everyone in a family should be able to order something and be happy with it. The quality of the food is good, not great. The service is good, not great. The noise level is high, but bearable. The bar scene seems to be strong (accounting for noice level being high). If you are looking for an affordable, casual meal with a family or friends, you should give daCapos a try. You might just like it!"

"The food is consistently good. The wait staff is pleasant and courteous. The only downside is the entrance to the restaurant is in the middle of the first seating area. Diners are subject to the cold air in the winter and the line of people to get to the hostess stand."
