"This was one of the best Lebanese restaurants I have been to in a while. I have had my share of authentic Lebanon fare and this was fabulous. My favorite dish was the Kibbeh and Fried Cauliflower. I cannot wait to go back and share the experience with my friends."

"After reading review in the paper, we were excited to try this new restaurant . We found it noisy but energetic. The food is unusual and very salty. The meat was bland and over cooked. The small plates gave us a chance to try many dishes. We think Turquaz is a better choice for atmosphere and quality of food."

"The food was fantastic but the service really lacked. We sat at our table for quite some time before anyone came to the table. Having never had Middle Eastern food before, I was disappointed in the lack of information our server provided about the food and would have liked some recommendations. Our party of 4 were seated at a large round table fit for 6 right in front of the bar area which saw a lot of traffic from the servers. We also had our drinks delivered incorrect and the bartender seemed very put out when they were sent back. Overall we enjoyed the food but the service killed the experience. I really wanted to like this place!"

"Ambiance is amazing and service was attentive and well informed. The food was fresh and distinctive yet small portioned. The tabbouleh offered a scant 1/2 cup and 3 small leaves of hearts of romain for $12. It was enough for two people to enjoy 2-3 small bites but for a table of 3 or more you would have to double order on all items. A unique dining experience for special occasion but a bit pricey overall."

"Food is generally very good, and the service was almost intrusive (although we were there early, so maybe she was bored). However how delicious the food is, I'll probably not return for dinner. We were three guests, one from Lebanon, and she directed our selections, including several small plates and two main courses. The small plates were tasty, but were REALLY small, especially the Fatoush. The garnish on the hummus seemed 'off'', although the rest of it was very good. As one main dish, we ordered the loup de mer (whole pan-fried fish) and it was delish! The drinks were good, although the Greyhound (not on the drinks menu) was made with bottled grapefruit juice, rather than fresh."

"This was my third or fourth time dining at Mamnoon and, while there have been definite improvements since opening weekend, the service could still use polish. It took a very long time for our server to greet us and take our drink orders after we sat down. Likewise, we had a hard time getting bread refills throughout the meal, especially annoying given that we had 3 bread-dipping items on our table. All that said, the food was fantastic and we were very happy with our meal."

"Mamnoon is a delicious and cultural addition to Cap Hill and Seattle's food scene. Rivals Shanik for ethnic, spiced fare. Order lots of starters, especially the fried cauliflower and the okra. "I have enjoyed Lebanese food on the East coast but never found a place in Seattle that beckoned me. True I have not ventured to Cafe Munir that serves the same kind of cuisine. The meal began with a dish of za' atar and 2 kinds of bread, gratis. We enjoyed 3 small plate starters of a bread baked with a tomato sauce on top, cauliflower adorned with exotic spices and kibbeh of beef with a tahini sauce. We chose an entree of flat iron steak with a mid eastern spice rub with fragrant basmati rice that was $42 but serves 2. The server was attentive although late in bringing a second glass of win. Altogether it was an excellent dining experience with food outside the Seattle norm of Italian and seafood. I highly recommend Mamnoon."

"I think this place is ideal for groups that do not mind shelling out a decent amount of money for a night out (60-100 per person depending how much you drink). All of the dishes we were served were really delicious and easily shareable. The service was also top notch. We were there for a birthday party and they were very flexible to accommodate our birthday wishes (hidden table for a surprise, candle in piece of cake, singing, and latecomers to the party). I do not eat Syrian/Lebanese food often, so perhaps I'm easily pleased, but everyone in the group seemed to agree the food was great."

"Delicious food all around and reasonable prices. Pet peeve - the waiter kept tying to take our dishes even though they weren't completely finished. As others have said the cauliflower was delicious. We also shared the hummus, the lamb flatbread (Lahm Bi Ajine) and the lamb and wagyu tartare (can't remember the name sorry) for starter. And the lamb, prawn and tenderloin kebabs for main. All were really good. the stand outs were the tartare (amazing spices) and the Lahm Bi Ajine. I would definitely go back. good atmosphere too."

"Really some of the best Lebanese food I've had. They do excellent standards (kebabs, kofta, kibbeh), and even have very well executed muhammara (a roast red pepper and walnut dip that's one of my favorites). But they also have a number of rotating specials that you might not find in an average Lebanese restaurant--I've had braised lamb shanks, and a very well prepared fish. They have good selection of mezze plates, so its a fun place to share food. The service is attentive without being overwhelmingly so, and for a very busy restaurant, their service is also efficient."

"I have been to Mamnoon many times before and I always enjoy it. I also enjoyed it this time. The only criticism that I have was the dessert. My favorite dessert is the mouhallabia. It is always so light and airy as well as being delicious. In the past we have had to wait a little bit for it to be brought to our table. Nothing very long but just the normal amount of wait time for a dessert. But not this time: it was brought to the table immediately and it was not light and airy. Usually it comes up to the top of the cup. This time, it barely filled half the cup and was fairly dense as well as being cold. Obviously it had been made hours in advance and then put in the refrigerator. I knew the difference and found it disappointing"

"Adjust your expectations that food will come in a non-hurried way that doesn't conform to our normal drinks/appetizer/entree experience. There was no pressure to hurry us out the door so this is a place to take your time and savor. Service was friendly and attentive and the food was healthy, delicious, and worthy of taking your time. "We had heard it was a nice place, but what a wonderful surprise. Once you find parking, it's all good. Everything that came to the table was a total delight! Seattle needed a place like this - the restaurant draws from a cultural cuisine and the flavors and use of spices was delicious. We all said we would be back again because we wanted to try other menu items. Always a good sign. Kudos to the conversion of the space. Was not expecting the size of it based on street view. Staff was EVERYWHERE and service was superb without being on top of you all the time. Highly recommend!"

"The food at Mamnoon is exceptional! Every dish we ordered, from the appetizer to the delicate milk pudding dessert had the most amazing flavors. Our waiter was a delight, offering recommendations and attentively checking back to be sure we were satisfied with our meal. The decor is interesting and vibrant. We can't wait to return and bring family members who would appreciate these exotic dishes."

"I found Mamnoon to be a taste sensation. Each and every dish I had was beautiful. The service was great, helpful and fast. We stayed for quite awhile and felt no pressure to leave. What a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back!"

"We had a great time at this restaurant. The ambiance/space is great - as is the food and service. There was a group of 4 of us, so we taste-tested a bunch of the items - hummus, beets, etc... Then shared several entrees - the chicken, lamb and beef... and all was really delicious! I don't typically like lamb, but it was the best lamb I've ever had. We had a very enjoyable experience and will definitely be going back!"

"We knew that this was the new hot spot, so we were patient when they were not able to seat us for our 8:30 reservation. And while we didn't get seated until 9pm, the host bought us a round of drinks and had the manager bring us an appetizer. Food was wonderful, service was good, environment is noisy so it's hard to hear anyone that is not right next to you. Beautifully decorated restaurant. We will go back."

"This was our first time and, although we had heard great things and had high expectations, we were not disappointed in the least. We ordered two mezzas (beet dish and an eggplant with lamb dish) along with the lamb shank "oven" dish. All three were excellent, and the amount of food was perfect for the two of us. The only thing we could not rave about was our server. He seemed a bit inexperienced; rather than ask about our experience in dining at a similar establishment (Lebanese, serves mezzas, plates for sharing, etc.), he treated us as if by not ever eating at Mamnoon meant we were foreign to the whole concept. Minor complaint though. Food was brought out in a timely manner and everyone was polite. Would definitely return."

"Our individual server was awkward and rushed. She said all the right words but they seemed extremely scripted and somewhat insincere. Other staff (bussers, hostess) all seemed very efficient and appropriately friendly. The pacing of my meal was what lessened my enjoyment. We ordered cocktails that took about 20-30 minutes to arrive--in the meantime bread was served (with water). When our plates arrived they were parsed out individually and did not arrive together. The quality of the flavors were exceptional and the portions were indeed perfect for sharing small plates. Fast forward to our cocktails...when the thimbles arrived my drink was on the rocks with a bit ugly orange wedge on the edge. I recommend that the bartender intern at Zoe."

"I really like this restaurant. This was our 3rd time back and each time the wait staff has recommended a dish that we have loved- this time it was the charred eggplant. The only suggestion would be to better explain to the customer all the bread options on the menu or verbally. As we were leaving I heard the next table ask for gluten free options- I had no idea after 3 visits that they were an option."
