"If you love meat, then Pampas Grille is for you! The meat never stops coming to your table. I was disappointed with the slow service however upon arrival. It took a long time to be greeted once we were seated at our table. We had to ask for napkins also. The salad bar also was not replenished the way it should be. Food was good though."

"This is not our first time there but it is the first time that we were disappointed. The food was still excellent but the service was really poor. The only way we got anything wasn't constantly stopping a manager. By the end of the meal even he was not helpful and we had to ask for our check 3 times. Also the air was not working and it was extremely warm inside. We also noticed a concerning situation and the end of our meal that did not directly effect us but we saw that it caused some patrons to leave after already seated. There was a very large party (about 50+) people seated on the patio. Rather than have them go to the salad bar in groups, the entire party went at once leading to a line that was extremely long."

"This restaurant was a real find. The salad bar was extensive, and the meat selections were quite good. Plenty to eat for a most reasonable price. Sat and talked and no one bothered us."

"Wasn't for us! Their were 3 of us and my daughter who is 22 enjoyed it the most, but said it wasn't as good as other Grille with similar style of dining. The meats were not the best cut, tough to eat! Only the sirloin was worth the effort, it was good! The salad bar wasn't any better then Ruby Tuesday's so I wouldn't spend the money! Not much for serving myself food, when I go out it's a treat so I want to be served not stand in line at a buffet salad bar. Will not be returning!"

"I love the relaxed feel of this place - they did not rush you at all which sometimes happens at a buffet. The timing of the waiter as far as service and clean up was great.They had a nice variety at he salad bar. I definitely would return for lunch and would love to try dinner as well. Service was well-timed and friendly, Drinks were affordable."

"Food was decent, but overpriced for what you get compared to Texas De Brazil. Salad bar is sub-par compared to other Brazilian restaurants we have been to and main course meats were average. Waited 10 minutes before our server came to our table. Hands down I would recommend going to Texas De Brazil over Pampas."

"Uneventful, too expensive for the quality of food & service. Meats for the most part were overcooked and lacked flavor. Selection in salad was very limited. Service was poor, waitress would dissappear for long periods of time. Overall, disappointed with the whole experience, key factor was that the meat flavor & preparation left a lot to be desired."

"Hostess set the tone, very friendly but won't be around for long as she is very pregnant.We wish her the best. Waiter a bit dissheveled and disinterested. Service was okay. Food was very good and moist. Chicken a bit dry and not the marinated leg but a wing or breast. Salad bar excellent and the soup was divine. Ambiance was nice and the restaurant is mostly wood which was striking and bold. All in all a very good experience and would come again."

"Not very good. Went there a few months ago when they first opened and it was good. Now...the meat was awful....over spiced....over salted....well done....not good. The only thing good was the salad bar but we paid for meat....not good. Won't be back."

"Unimpressive wine list. Food was good,not great, except for the seafood. The seafood was lousy,dry and over cooked. Bacon scallops, certainly not what we expected. The salad bar was lacking. The restaurant is a pale imitation of "Texas de Brazil" We would however visit again. The ambiance and Decor are suitable to our taste. We enjoyed the servers coming around with the different grilled meats.I am unaware of any other restaurant in City Place that offers this. The servers are friendly and courteous, the prices are reasonable."

"Nice restraunt, excellent service as there were plenty of circulating waiters with food however I felt the quality of meat was average and it either had two flavors, salty or none. The herb chicken was excellent. The price was fair as well."

"When I booked I commented that I would like to have a special diner with my girlfriend since it was her birthday, and I was waiting for any complementary thing for her but she did not receive anything. but overall was good!"

"First a little background. I started going to Brasilian Churrascarias since 1969 in Sapiranga (Rio Grande Do Sul, which is the Southern most state). The open pit tradition has existed for a couple of hundred year in the Gaucho (cowboy) Southern areas of Brasil, Uruguay and Argentina. The Rodizio concept came into being in the mid twentieth century at Mateo's Restaurant in Sapiranga. 2 busloads of tourists showed up and the restaurant was overwhelmed. The owner rounded up the cowhands handed out skewers and their long sharp Gaucho knives and then threw all they had on the grills. Word got around town and they decided to make this the mainstay of the restaurant. (There is more to the story but space is limited).

"excellent food and service. The leg of Lamb and the leg of Pork were especially good. Also the sausage and the chicken. The top sirloin steak was not very tender--it never is. The the pineapple slices were a nice touch too. Altogether good eating. Good salad bar but the meat selection was the best. You must have a good appetite though. I also liked the fact that everything was served very thinly sliced--not big chunks. Am looking forward to returning for lunch."

"An amazing salad bar from soup to nuts. All the meats were cooked perfectly. Our waiter was always around to pick up our soiled utensils and plates. We had the best waiter Steven. Drinks were priced fairly. The fruits were sweet and moist."

"Having been to a number of Brazilian steakhouses I knew what to expect. Unfortunately, my party of 7 and I were disappointed. There should have been numerous servers circulating with the various offerings at all times. This was not the case. Also, none of us were impressed with the quality of the salad bar which in other Brazilan steakhouses is AMAZING. This one was ordinary at best."

"Started off well, server upsold me on the surf and turf which he made sound delicious. I received some of the meats but not all of it and never received the surf part of the dinner, also the meat was extremely dry. Although the upside was that the manager came over and apologized for the mix up. He did remove the dinner from the bill."

"Always a great meal here--wonderful side bar with 30+ items, and then the parade of delicious, roasted meats! Feel free to ask the servers to bring something in particular to your table if it hasn't come by in a while, and they'll happily do so. My faves are the house specialty sirloin (picanha?) and the bacon wrapped filet and chicken. Excellent."

"The service was lacking from the moment we walked in the door and continued throughout the night. All the meat was prepared medium rare and we continued to ask for medium well. It took forever to get a server to bring us the medium well meat. We received our check without the server even asking us if we wanted coffee or dessert. I will not go back to this place."

"If you have theater tickets they are mindful of the time. None of us had the meat because we thought it would take too long and didn't want to go to the theater with too full of a stomach. We all had lobster and scallops and they were good. Salad bar was also good."

"You have to like Brazilian Grill service, (i.e. different meats on skewers served at your table). Somehow the meal seems incomplete without vegetables and potatoe on your plate.
Although it appears resonably priced at first glance, when the bill is presented you find that it's not so inexpensive after all."

"Filet was overcooked. Tried one other meat which was non descript. Then switched to seafood. The salmon was excellent. Great sauce on the salmon Shrimp were ok. The scallops were just fair. The salad bar was well presented. The cheese rolls were awful. Had a tiramisu for desert which was not good and returned. Overall would not recommend for the price and quality. They were not busy at all on a Thursday nt at 6pm but maybe it was just too early. Service was excellent."
