The concept for Topaz HomeStyle Bistro is very simple & straight-forward…to blend the love of great food with the love of family & friends! The word “Topaz” means friendship, & “Bistro” signifies a place where people gather, hence the tagline “where friends gather”. Because the owners were both raised with “country” values, they feel it’s very important that the portions be generous, the wine & beer delicious, & the ambience relaxing. It is because of this desire to create a wonderful place for people to hang out that Topaz was created. No pretentiousness is allowed here!
Our approach gives our Chef’s the flexibility of creating fabulous dishes that are intended to be shared together, while at the same time giving special attention to using the freshest ingredients from local farmers in our area.

"We dined at Topaz for Mother's day. The restaurant staff was attentive and the brunch was great with a variety of food options. Each mother was given a long stem red rose and a $5 gift certificate for their next visit. The mood was relaxed unlike most holiday brunches. An addition was live music. Two thumbs up!"

"Definitely not a good first impression as I drove a distance with my mother and daughter, had the Open Table reservations on my phone. Walked in, told the owner my name for a 1130 reservation. Said he didn't have us. I remained calm, showed him my OpenTable email and he quickly replied, "I've had like 300 people I turned away from OpenTable, I don't even use that service.
Going into more detail is kind of a moot point until you remove this restaurant or there is communication that they will honor your online reservation service."

"I think that Topaz Homestyle Bistro has opened up a great family oriented restaurant in which we will be able to walk to and enjoy a great meal. The Topaz has a great wine and beer selection and the seafood medley pasta was fantastic."

"The hip dining spot in Hubbard! The owners, Tammy and Mitch, are personable and hospitable. We felt like guests in their home. The food is superb, the servers are genuine, and the price is reasonable. Great place to get together with friends, or quaintly dine with a partner. Casual dress or dressy if you'd like. A welcome addition to this community."
