"This was my first trip to El Ceviche and I couldn't have been happier. The hostess was a charmer, 0ur waitress was also friendly and very helpful, and the bar crew were also very friendly.
Toasted tortillas with a delicious sweet-spicy fresh salsa and an espresso-size seafood soup with bits of crab are complimentary starters-- delicious, and welcome.
Although El Ceviche's specialty is seafood, we didn't order any, getting the chicken salad (fresh, crisp, and delicious) and the mola chicken flautas, which are *the best* i've had anywhere. Ask for a sample of their Mole sauce, they gladly bring it and you won't be sorry. It was close to as perfect as I think mortals could get. We'll be back, and I'm definitely ordering ceviche next time!"

"Horrible. The hostess & waitress were very nice bur waitress not very experienced & it showed. Restaurant was not very attractive & the food & drinks were the worst I've had in a long time. We ordered mojitos...very strange!. It mostly tasted like soda. The mint in it was old & I swear there was not one drop of alcohol in it. I exchanged mine for a margarita & again, zero alcohol. Didn't even taste much like a margarita. We order an appetizer, not sure what it was called. Essentially it was like chopped fish smashed on tostados. My friend ordered shrimp k-bobs. Said it was marginal & shrimp were very small. I ordered Caribbean Salmon. Marginal, lacking in flavor & fish overcooked. Don't waste your time."

"Incredible food - FRESH! CREATIVE! IMAGINATIVE! AUTHENTIC! We had great service from Tom, who patiently explained the myriad menu options and clearly is a fan of not only the cuisine, but also the preparation. The fresh oysters were excellent & the ceviche sampler was amazing! Other Tex-Mex fare was great, as well. Overall, a superb experience!"

"My girlfriend and I love the laid back feel of this place - festive, tiki type – like a beach side resturant...minus the beach. I definitely would return to try more seafood dishes. The corn tortillas are home made and fried to use as chips with the amazing salsa, lots of zest! We enjoyed the cheviche and baja fish tacos. Service was well-timed and friendly and attentive.""

"Went to El Ceviche for my husband's birthday dinner with 6 friends. Food was great: fresh oysters, scrumptious bahi tuna ceviche, tropical kind was good as well. I had martini with passion fruit (don't recall the name), but it was out of this world! And the band was playing non-stop all the time, really talented guys."

"This restaurant is not suited for parties that are trying to talk to one another. The live music is loud the piped speaker music is extremely loud. The servers do not communicate with each other on who is taking drink orders or food orders. The food was not awful, however there were issues with many of the plates - not the right order; not placed at all; forgotten plates. All the mishaps made for a very unpleasant experience."

"I can't figure this place out. Its somewhere between a disco, sports bar, Mexican restaurant or seafood parlor. While things worked the service was spotty....two different servers who generally got things right. We were greeted at the door by a guy who I can't figure out. He was either the owner, manager or parking or attendant. The noise level was high - a DJ was playing at 6:00 PM - a little early for head pounding music. The food was good but nothing special. I don;t think I'll be back. There are better choices around."

"Well when you make reservations for 11pm to get there and be told they stop serving door at 10pm, you tend to be a little ticked. We were. Not only that but stood at the hostess station for almost 5 minutes before getting talks to. Get your act together guys....would have loved to try your offerings."

"We were very pleasantly surprised with our experience. The service was excellent and the food delicious. This is authentic Mexican food, and not Tex-Mex. Upon entry, we received toasted tortilla and salsa, and a small cup of what I believe was clam soup. It was delicious. We started with a Ceviche that was out of this world. Our entrees were shrimp enchiladas and mole chicken. Both were very tasty. We will definitely be returning."
