"My husband and I were excited to try Larson's for our Anniversary. Wow. . . we were disappointed. Our expectations were high because we've eaten at Morton's, Ruth's Chris, Flemings, LG's, etc. Larson's had premium steakhouse prices, but sadly the food was NOT premium steakhouse quality. I'd be very surprised if Larson's "makes it" in the Santa Clarita Valley."

"I've been to this location a few times in the past after they first opened, but this trip was the best by far. The service was on top of everything, the food was close to perfect, and the wine was amazing. The sommelier is one of the best in L.A. and had some really high end Cabernet's on his list that we normally wouldn't find outside of Beverly Hills. He also did an outstanding job pairing our selections with every course of the meal."

"We went for Mother's Day Brunch and were very impressed. My wife and I have been here twice for dinner, but this was our first time taking our three children (12, 10, and 5 year old girls) and Larsen's first time offering brunch. Having been to Salt Creek Grille and The Vines Sunday Brunches in the past for Mother's Day, I think Larsen's was significantly better. All the usual brunch buffet suspects were there including an omelet bar and a waffle bar, fruit platter, dessert tray, etc. But in addition they had an amazing seafood bar with oysters on the half shell and king crab legs. Both the beef roast and the tri tip from the carving table were amazing. And the champagne never stopped flowing. I hope they make Sunday brunch a regular thing."

"Amazing Service. Chopped salad was the best thing we ate! Bread is delicious. My husband and I split a 12 oz filet mignon and added the 1/2 lb king crab. Steak was cooked well, however it had a chalky texture to it and was bland. Not a bad steak, just not what you'd expect from a Steakhouse of this price and quality...like Smith and Wollensky...yum! The crab was good (sweet not salty) but it wasnt a half pound. The garlic potatoes were good. Creme Brûlée was ok...a little under done. I gave it the rating because it is much better that anything else you can find in Valencia...but next time we will make the drive to LeChene."

"This was my first time at Larsen's and I loved it. The ambiance was perfect for a classic, throwback steak house. The music was unobtrusive and fit the mood. The rib eye was simply perfect, flavorful, perfectly seasoned. The garlic mashed potatoes as well as the grilled asparagus were the ideal side dishes to accompany the steak. The wine selection is fantastic with a wide selection of prices. The service was also excellent. The only recommendation is that they should have a bread basket while you wait for the food."

"The restaurant and the people that work there were 1st class! The Rib eye however, was pathetic. When you go to a steakhouse the steaks should be at least an inch thick. At Least ! This thing looked like a steak I bought at Safeway. Thin, stretchy little thing. It would have been acceptable for $15 or $20. No way was this a $45 steak. And it is just the steak. A la cart. I can't really recommend this place."

"This was the first time at Larsens for me. I'm glad Santa Clarita has an upscale steak house.
Our waiter was wonderful. He explained the menu and told us his favorites. I agree with his taste. When i go to any restaurant and I can't make up my mind what I want to order I always get the opinion of the server.
The only problem I had, and it was a fairly big one, is the reservation was for 7:30 and we weren't seated until about 8:30. It seemed to me to be overbooked.
Once we got seated, everything went very well from there."

I have to say.. I really liked Larsen's. I made a reservation for 2 via Open Table and was VERY satisfied that we were given a booth.
Since we have been trying to eat healthier, we always order fish or chicken when we go out. I had my concerns because this is a steak house..right?
Our waiter recommended the blackened cod. He said it is pretty underrated and often overlooked on the menu.
We split a salad...and yes, it is definitely big enough to split! It was very good!
We ordered the blackened cod and the Chilean sea bass. The cod...OMG! was so very very good. The sea bass....not so much.
Sides of asparagus and green beans. Generous helpings...easy to split.
Two cocktails.

"This is my fourth time to the restaurant, and by far this time was the best experience. I believe that to be true because of the time we were at the restaurant. The last few times I came to the restaurant with a reservation I still had to wait, had OK service and the food was mediocre due to the volume being served. "Sort of disappointed although food and service was excellent but! unfortunately we were disappointed on wine BV George de la tour pricing (not told prior and not on wine price list--)I feel we should have been informed in advance pricing of 33.00 per glass.Had we been informed would have purchased a bottle or another selection .I do know my wines and would have selected another choice.This was very poor judgement AND UNPROFFESIONAL .Other than that food was very goodDon't know if i would honestly recomend to others.Others that I have spoke with have said ,doubt if they would dine there again due to wine over priced.If I were to dine there again I would definatelly brig a bottle of Brunello from my personal collection."

"Had a reservation but had to wait for a table. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes and we were never waited on. Finally got our table and still waited an obscene amount of time for our drinks. The service was fair from the waiter but again we found the amount of time we had to wait for our food to be unacceptable, especially given the patrons around us were served first and we were sat before them. The filet was fatty, the salad was so soggy that it seemed as if it was per-made and had been sitting out for hours and the shrimp cocktail was warm and chewy. After all that, when our check arrived, we found they upgraded the wine to the one that was $20 a glass vs. the $12 glass we ordered. Very disappointing."

"My husband and I went to dinner Friday night. We thoroughly enjoyed both the food and atmosphere. Andrew was our server and he was very attentive to anything we needed for our meal. I would recommend Larsen's has a great place for a date night.

"Good food, good steak. My only complaint is that our waiter was a bit intrusive in that he was constantly making jokes. The first time was funny, but then he continued to interrupt my conversation with my date just to do this. I like for a waiter or waitress to be attentive, but not intrusive. Still, overall the service was good and I would probably return to this restaurant for another special occasion."

"We started in the bar to get the mood going, it was busy, the piano was playing and martinis were flowing. Everyones dinner was amazing, my Bone-In rib eye was incredible and I especially liked the sundried tomatoe mac & cheese. Its nice to see that santa clarita finally has a 5 star steakhouse with 5 star service, no need to head south anymore for a quality dinner where the cab ride home is only 20 bucks from Larsens. Thank you for making our evening special we will be back soon."
