"I've been coming here for 15+ years, although I haven't been here for the last 18 months. The food quality was poor - calamari was frozen, veal was tough, raviolis were frozen, vegetables were overcooked. But the bread was great!"

"The restaurant was great. Good bread came instantly. Water came right away & glasses were replenished often. The waitress was excellent & so was the good. I had sausage & peppers and was very pleased. The arugula & pear salads were excellent choices. The food was great & the service was spectacular. It all made for a very nice mother's Day celebration."

"We had visited Amalfi's when we moved to this area 25+ years ago, but hadn't been back until recently. It is a gem for comfortable dining and good food. Tables are spaced so as to allow easy movement of wait staff without the customer feeling they are in the way or sitting too close to other diners. The tilapia specials were outstanding, and the service was gracious and efficient. Convenient all around--we will be back."

"The staff makes you feel like one of the family. Our party of 6 had outstanding service and we never felt rushed. Our waiter was a family member and was enjoyable listening to the family stories and the history of the restaurant. The food was outstanding and you could easily tell the detailed food preparation taken to make each member of the party's dinner special."

"Do not order wine. It is expensive swill! Food is just OK there are too many other Italian choices to put up with the cheesy deco, grungy carpet, overly-lit dining rooms, and terrible wine. Seriously, every sip gave us the Sienfeld shivers. Place seems to be known for their desserts, though. The cannoli was very tasty and seems everyone near our table ordered one or more deserts to savor and share."

"Second time eating here. Food is good and seems to be well prepared. Caprese salad appetizer is the best I've had and I've had a Caprese salad on the Amalfi Coast. Appetizers are the most interesting part of the menu for vegetarian me. Other tables were ordering white pizzas as appetizers. Pasta not overcooked, tomato sauce is very tasty. Parents enjoyed their chicken parm and cheese ravioli. Wine available by the bottle and by the glass. Didn't have dessert, but heard another waiter tell a table about some that were specially prepared for Valentine's day a few days prior. Nice ambiance, reminds me of a neighborhood restaurant I ate at in Rome. Would return."

"Not sure what happened to this place. We had white pizza and chicken parm. White pizza was definitely frozen before cooked. Chicken in the parm seemed frozen also and the taste of the chicken was olive oil. This restaurant used to be so good. My advice is whoever is cooking the food, go back to making fresh food."

"My family and I have been dining at Amalfi for more than 20 years. It is hidden away in a mostly industrial area, but is a wonderful option for authentic Italian food and is also family-run, something I appreciate and which is getting rarer and rarer in this day and age. Their White Pizza with Cheese is so wonderful I always get an order to take home with me, no matter what else I am having."
