"We came for Brunch and were seated immediately. The food was nice and reasonably priced. I recommend the Poached eggs over the vegetable potato hash-brown with Chilli sauce Hollandaise, very good. Service was ok, would go again.

"What an enjoyable experience. We reserved a table for six to enjoy a meal after a Sunday matinee on Broadway. I would best describe the dishes as elegantly crafted home-cooking, with thoughtfully constructed and creative flavor profiles. Everyone at the table ordered something different (from burgers to pasta to salads, to beef short ribs), and everyone gave the meal an enthusiastic "two thumbs-up." All the better when delivered by friendly and knowledgeable staff, who provided excellent service."

"Tofu burger, lots of fish options, interesting salads among choices that make this a great place to bring vegetarian friends. Many ethnic choices i this area but this place is unique with its out of the ordinary take on many familiar dishes: Pakno coated chicken breastedstuffed with dried tomatos and cheese on luscious yogurt-dill mix, chicken paillard with beatifully prepared vegetabes and a tomato sauce. Service is friendly and attentive. Good thatre area choice."

"Eatry was recommended as a good restaurant for brunch. The food was not as good as expected, especially their omelet was cooked for a little too long. Maybe that's how it is prepared in the U.S. the coffee was excellent, though."

"Food quality is ok. Nothing special. Ordered A stuffed chicken and got one small boneless breast cut in half and too well done. Really Mussels smelled fishy and tasted fishy. Flank Steak salad over arugula good but very expensive. Loved the rice crackers with sesame they give u on the table.
I had the best waitress though. She looked like Liza minelli and was so on top of everything. Loved her. Even told manager how good she was.

"I came here with some girlfriends for brunch and it definitely lived up to its expectations. We were seated right away even though it was crowded on a Saturday afternoon, and every single server was not only attentive, but also very friendly. It was great chatting with them! They had creative and delicious mimosas and bellinis, and the food was so delicious! I ordered the e-benne, which had the crispiest hash browns I've ever had. My friends had the mac n' jack and the grits, which were also awesome. I will defininitely, definitely be back here! Fantastic experience"

"Love their fresh take on traditional dishes, and their cocktails are outstanding. Lately, I've been meeting out-of-town friends for fun and fabulous lunches there; often a little less busy that dinner, which can be jam-packed. Outstanding suggestions: the Adobo Salad; Grilled Mahi-Mahi Soft Tacos with Chipotle Slaw; their mac 'n' cheese is legendary. At this meal we tried the spicy cranberry Margarita and a wonderful gin drink with cucumber and fresh thyme (delicious, unique, and not too sweet!). Nothing from the most exotic daily special to a comforting hamburger has ever disappointed. Even their house "shrimp chips" with black sesame seeds are addictive!"

"I'm never disappointed with my meal and neither are my guests when I bring people here for the first time. The restaurant is a little loud and crowded, but the food is always worth it and the waiters are attentive. I came for dinner with my boyfriend and his chicken was delicious. My quesadillas were unlike any others I've had and were fabulous - blackbeans with chicken, Monterey Jack cheese and homemade sour cream - I loved every bite. For dessert, the e-which was also great - super rich fudge brownies and vanilla bean ice cream with chocolate and caramel sauce, This chocoholic was satisfied!

"perhaps not fair to judge a restaurant where we didn't eat entrees or dessert, but we weren't impressed with the food or service. my mixed green salad was $10 for something very standard.. cherry tomato, carrots, nothin' special vinaigrette. the stacked tuna app was alright as far as ingredients but did nothing for me as far as coming together taste-wise. wife's asian chicken salad had an overly sweet dressing and fairly boring components, including the chicken. server was brusque and not pleasant..... acted like it was a bother to wait on us. asked us how our food was before we'd had 30 seconds to taste it and then never showed up again until we were finished. just our opinion, but we won't be back."

"Get your brunch reservations early! This place fills up fast, but with their menu? It's understandable AND worth the inconvenience of getting up early if that's the only time available. LOL!! "For the second year, my wife met-up with family for Brunch while visiting NY for our anniversary. We enjoy the great menu at the Eatery and the service was again freindly and efficient. The food is creative and very tasty. At the table, we had Green Eggs and Ham, which as a wonderfully prepared crossaint/pesto egg sandwich, Sweet potato hash with mango guacamole and Pancakes of the Day... All were great, everyone enjoyed brunch. We will certainly keep the Eatery on our Brunch agenda for the future."

"I really enjoyed the food at this midtown eatery. After reading reviews about how it was one of the best places for brunch in manhattan, I decided to give it a try. Brunch menu was great. Went on a sunday afternoon and the maitre'd or manager who sat us was very rude and our server was somewhat cool as well. "We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Eatery before seeing a show last week. The food was delicious, service great, and it was an excellent choice for our group. Eatery is definitely a great restaurant in the 9th Ave neighborhood, and I look forward to eating there again soon."

"I rated the service poor. The server was eager to have us leave - hovering once the check was placed on the table but was not this attentative during our meal. We initially went there because the reviews showed it was a kid friendly place. They lacked a kids menu."

"Ate here before a show and chose it because it was within walking distance to the theater. There were three of us (two adults and a very picky teenager). Service was very prompt but was a little disappointed that they set us in the very back of the restaurant - away from the windows and excitement. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was really good! I had the fish tacos and would highly recommend ordering them! Overall - good experience, good service and not too expensive!"

"We were there for brunch last Saturday. Food is great but host/managerseems to think other ingredients of hospitality can therefore be dispensed with. But that's not the chef's fault. So go, by all means, and expect to eat well. But be prepared to go without the basic niceties. I've never seen a more unhappy crew."

"I was with a group of 6 on a Sunday morning for Brunch. We had a reservation, thankfully. The waitress come over to take our drink orders and had to repeat our order over and over before she even left the table. The coffee was warm and the water for tea had been heated in a microwave, the mug was super hot but the water was warm. We had to ask for hotter water and fresh coffee just to have it hot. We waited quite a bit for the food and it all looked great when it came out. Presentation was very nice. I had a dish that had the hash browns on the plate like a birds nest, it was too crunchy to the point I could not eat it, almost as though it had been sitting out for a while and got stale, the corn flake crusted french toast was awesome!"
