Open since 1868, the Landmark Tavern originally sat nearly on the Hudson River to better serve the neighborhood's dock workers. The restaurant now sits on 11th Avenue but still enjoys great water views and delicious food.

Recently renovated in antiquarian style; the dining room boasts an inlaid tile floor, tin ceilings, beveled mirrors, carved mahogany paneling, and tremendous bar (made from one piece of wood). Australian Chef Bryce Cole has added some ambitiously prepared new American choices, but traditional pub fare like Shepherd's pie, Scotch eggs, and fish and chips are all on hand and never disappoint.
