"Took a friend before having to go back to NY the next day, We added on the fried rice as suggested by other reviews. We were seated with a great party of 4 we didn't know but it turned out to be a small world and their was some connection. Everybiody around us seemed to be enjoying themselves as we were also. Our chef Ghandoli (?) was alot of fun. Our reservations were for 7pm. We were seated and had our soup and salad by 7:25. The wait staff was very good and we never had to ask twice for anything. Would probably only go again with a party of 4 or more, but just for two we like more intimate settings."

"The waitress didn't ask if we were in a group which we weren't but she grouped us all together and charged the over a party of 8 automatic gratuity. Not to happy about that especially since she never came back to collect our checks so we could call her on it."

"We had a party of six adults and we all loved the food, shrimp, new york steak, chicken, and salmon. The fried rice cost extra, but well worth it. I reserved a table online but we still had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated and another 20 minutes before being attended to. Overall, my Mother, 71, had very enjoyable time."

"We went to Fujiyama to celebrate Mother's Day. This was our first time going and we has a wonderful time. Our chef was lots of fun and food was great! My 8 year old son had lots of fun watching the chef cook and put on a show. We took my parents as well and they had a great time. We will be returning in the future!! My only complaint was the noise level. I couldn't hear everything my chef was saying but with everyone having fun in the restaurant, you have to expect the noise."

"We really enjoyed our first time experience at Fujiyama on Friday night. We took some friends as it was there first time as well. Our chef was truly amazing as he was very energetic and fun. "The chef was very entertaining and the food was very good. Because the food is served in multiple courses, you may not feel like you're getting a lot of food but by the end of the serving you will be very satiated.
There was confusion on our reservation time. When we arrived at 5:55 pm for our 6:00 pm reservation, we were told that it was at 6:30 pm. I was sure it was at 6:00 pm but did not have my confirmation from Open Table with me. When I returned home I confirmed that reservation was at 6:00 pm. However, waiting in the bar was pleasant and the staff managed to seat us at 6:12 pm so no issue other than the initial confusion."

"We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were a party of 12 including 2 children under 12 and a baby. They have a set up that easily accommodates a group that large or even larger! The food was delicious; the chef was engaging and funny yet unobtrusive. We will most definitely return for our next large group occasion! Their menu was a bit expensive, but well worth the price - we all walked away full and even some left-overs. The kids even enjoyed the food. Over all, it was a delightful evening and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food and fun."

"Service and food was excellent -- don't miss the fried rice; even though there's an extra charge, it's worth it! Calamari very good -- had not had it prepared this way and it was delicious. Our group had the shrimp dinner and the steak sukiyaki -- both were excellent."

"We enjoyed our experience. There is some interaction with the chef as he is preparing your meal. Good entertainment, but sometimes impedes conversation with friends. Group seating so you are sitting with other parties at large tables. If you have been to a Japanese style steakhouse before, you know what to expect. Entertainment value is not what you'd find in Seattle - but we're not in Seattle!"

"The food was excellent. Very noise with the parties and banging of drums. Thought the cooking enteranment was for teenagers and younger. Cooks made a lot of noise with very little skill level. I wouldn't go back or recommned for adults."

"Very good loved the show. And the fried rice mmmhhhmm.would be great for birthday in big groups. A minamal amount of arm space but i was still able to enjoy it. And have private time me and my boyfriend went on valentines day and even got a two person meal special."

"I went in on Valentines day with my husband. We made our reservations for online at opentable.com and when we got there it took a little for the girls to find our reservations. We were seated, seating was really tight my husband took an extra chair out and we were more comfortable. Our cook was great and the food was delish, we had the chicken, steak and lobster. I love their sauces. The only problem we had was we were charged for a specialty drink the girl next to me had. I didnt look at the bill until we were home. Other than that our night was great."

"The fried rice was good but the chicken and vegetables were nothing special, needed more seasoning. The steak was decent, but the best was the shrimp that another patron ordered and the cook shared with everyone. If we come back maybe I'll order that... We were a tad disappointed in our cook. He didn't provide much of a show, just a flaming onion. We've been to the Sakura Teppanyaki before and expected this place to be like the chefs were there but now we know, they just cook in front of us."

"It was my husbands birthday and they did an awesome job making it special. Birthday boy received a free dinner (their choice) because we had a group of six. The dinner was worth $22 on the menu. They sang happy birthday and banged a gong... Great experience and our guests had a blast!"

"We arrived at our reservation time, just behind a couple who also had a reservation. They were taken directly to their table, and we were told that there would be few minutes wait while a table was cleared. After 15 minutes, I asked how things were going, and they said that they were waiting for a table to finish and clear. After 35 minutes, we were taken into the dining room, where there were three empty tables. We were seated at a table where the guests (seating for 8) sit around a stove top, after 10 minutes, the waiter took our orders, then the cook showed up 10 minutes later. He cooked our meals in front of us, with some gymnastics and entertaining patter. The food was very good. Only complaint was the long wait."
