“Best New Chefs of 2009” Food and Wine Magazine, “Best Chef” Memphis Magazine and “Best Chef” Memphis Flyer are just a few of the accolades Chef English has acquired in his young, yet distinguished career. Trained at the Culinary Institute of America in New York, Chef English instantly returned to his roots after graduating, heading up restaurants throughout the South in New Orleans, Tunica and Memphis.
In 2012, Kelly English Steakhouse was named one of the 10 Best New Restaurants and Best Seafood by St. Louis’ Riverfront Times. The steakhouse continues English’s commitment to use fresh and local ingredients whenever possible on all menu items and brings the Gulf flavors to the palates of the Midwest.
