Homemade pasta is the specialty at this Long Grove Italian restaurant housed in a former Victorian-style home on the border of Arlington Heights. Begin your delicious authtentic Italian meal with bruschetta, grilled calamari or prosciutto with melon. You will enjoy the best authentic Italian food in Chicago's Northwest Suburbs.
A daily risotto, fresh fish served whole and veal chops are among the hearty selections. Potato gnocchi is a popular dish. Homemade desserts include cannoli and tiramisu.
The candlelit main dining room in our Italian Restaurante, located upstairs, is painted green and burgundy. Wood paneling, a fireplace, French windows and well-spaced tables make for an intimate atmosphere. The view of a fountain and flower garden spells romance. A kitchen table provides a glimpse behind the scenes.
"Various chicken dishes ordered by our group were delicious. The meatballs I ordered were not. The bread and garlic oil were delicious! Service was attentive."

"The place was very nice and fairly quiet. The food was a little disappointing, but could have been my choice. Was expecting more, but it wasn't too bad overall."

"If you like good Italian food at a reasonable price, this is the place. Tables can be pretty close together which doesn't make for a romantic evening. However, the food, price and service makes this one of my favorite places."

"Restaurant did not have our open table reservation that we had made weeks early so put at only table left which was in front near path of staff and customers under plant. We were celebrating our anniversary. This table was not relaxing or romantic and quite distracting location. Food however was excellent."

"We arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation. We were greeted rudely and told "10 minutes". We were never acknowledged again. 20 minutes after our reservation time we waked out and went elsewhere for dinner. I won't be going back"

"We went on a Saturday night. We were seated right away, but had to wait a while for the waitress, who was very sweet and capable, just overworked. It was 30 minutes before the appetizer arrived. The kitchen and wait staff seemed overwhelmed by the crowd. We were starting to get a little annoyed by how slow everything was, but when the food finally came, it was worth it! The entrees were delicious, and the portions were huge. We would definitely go back but might avoid Saturday at 7:00"

"My husband and I have been going to Enzo's for several years and have always enjoyed the food. The garlic spread is extremely flavorful accompanied by the bread. My husband had the veal franchise and I had the salmon. Both were excellent. We will definitely be returning again."

"Perfect spot for a romantic 1st date or 121st date! The place was packed but we felt like the only ones there: very comfortable, good service & great food! To start our server brought a plate of deliciousness (go easy if its a 1st date cuz its packed with lots of yummy chopped garlic, spices and evoo!) and a side of warm crusty bread. Appetizer was a veal-mushroom cappellaci-just heavenly. My husband's minestrone was spot on & my salad perfect. Entree's were worth the wait: chicken francese done just right, & they made a chicken milanese for my husband although it's not on the menu & during a busy Sat. night. To-die-for homemade cannoli topped off the meal. With a view of quaint Long Grove under twinkle lights :-) Mille grazie Enzo & Lucia!"

"Our family went there for Easter; so, they were busy and we felt rushed. The soup was cold and it didn't look or taste home made. The Easter bread was not as pictured in their brochure & it was stale. The waitress did not seem happy about being asked questions."

"Overpriced for quality of food, but that's what you get in Long Grove. The pizza was very good, but the seafood was marginal at best as was the filet."

"One of my favorite restaurants in the Chicago area. In addition to dining there with friends and family on a regular basis, we had my son/daughter-in-law wedding rehearsal dinner there and it was fabulous."

"We had a reservation and upon arrival, the restaurant had moved a private party into the main dining room and seating us in the downstairs party room. The room was stuffy, the service was less than attentive, the food was fair and appeared to have been an after thought left over from something else. We will most likely not be back. Very disppointing experience."

"Nestled amongst cottage store fronts selling antiques and cobble stone walk ways, it was like walking into the past. Food was hearty and robust, with zesty garlic sauce given to dip bread when seated. Busy Saturday night right after Valentine's Day, so getting a table on line for 7 PM was a miracle. We had a little wait for table, but food was over all good, basic Italian. Nothing fancy, but good. Great family place."

"Another outstanding visit- Saturday evening dinner at Enzo & Lucia. We brought family this time to experience the great food and we were not disappointed. From terrific salads, fresh seafood appetizers and all of our entree's everything was done very well. Portions are generous at each course and the ingredients are all top notch. We had clams in red sauce over fettucini, veal marsala, a tilapia special and shrimp over spaghetti and everybody was happily satisfied. The service was great as usual and I appreciate the professionalism that is found here. Another great experience, which is why we keep coming back. Once again I am happy to support our local, non-corporate restaurants."

"Another great experiance at Enzo and Lucia 2-1-2013. From our appetizers of great baked clams and the best bruschetta, to our salads with house-made dressings, to the entrees of shrimp diavolo, vitello frances and bistecca vesuvio everything was terrific. The food is scratch made and it shows through in the fresh ingredients. Our waiter was professional and accomodating and patient. The room was comfortable even though it was frigid outside. On our third trip here we have even more reasons to return, and we will. Stay out of the corporate places and enjoy the local businesses."
