"The scallops were excellent, the sardine was excellent, even the pig ears were great. Skip the calamari, but don't skip the potatoes! Never thought you would order dates stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon? They were delicious!
Just go, relax, and let the staff guide you! We had a great time and a great lunch!"

"Top tier on all levels. Exciting plates and a great wine list with lots of locals. Attentive service with a sense of humor too. And three of us ate for what a great restaurant would often charge for two!"

"If you like strongly flavored, overly salted foods, this may be right for you. When we expressed our concern to the waiter he said this was the direction they were going for. Countless restaurants in Healdsburg/Geyserville offer excellent food, so there is no excuse for this type of disregard for customers' health. Two of the dishes would have quite good with 1/3 of the salt. But the rest lacked execution mastery and a level of refinement that we find all around town. This experience was quite a departure from the former, fantastic Ravenous at this location. Healdsburg has an excellent dining scene, and I hope Bravas will take this feedback and the health of diners into consideration as they continue to evolve in this community."

"Visiting Sonoma from the east bay we decided to cancel our 1st dining choice and drive 35 miles to check out Bravas Bar de Tapas instead. It was so worth the trip. I had read the reviews and couldn't have been more impressed. Don't expect to find paella on the menu, trust me you'll be satisfied without it. The peppers and chorizo where excellent as well as the cheese platter, jamon ibedico with toast, chicken croquettes, quail and octopus were superb. All very well presented in there own cup, bowl or on a platter. Great outside bar....very clean and cool decor. I loved the dish towel napkins and the use of the sardine can lid at the end of our meal. Great wine selection as well."

"Great selection of tapas with wait staff eager to provide suggestions. Some traditional and some adventurous selections. Lovely outdoor patio. Service was great. Only complaint is being served wine in a whisky tumbler (very strange for the center of the Sonoma wine district)."

"We had a group of six and ordered a wide variet of tapas items and all were excellent. The sardines and octopus were the best - perfectly prepared and the octopus was very tender."

"We love all of the Stark's restaurants, so we were anxious to try Bravas. We were not disappointed. We dined with an experienced Tapas diner who was able to help us navigate the menu. The food ans wine were wonderful and we will definitely be back!"

"The service and ambiance at Bravas Bar de Tapas was wonderful. The menu was fun, unique and interesting and the food did not disappoint. Some personal recommendations would be the creamy chicken croquetas - perfectly fried and full of flavor, fried duck egg (unique dish) and the cider braised chorizo (fabulous!). Definite must try in Sonoma County."

"Excellent food for sharing. We were outside and it was chilly even with heaters. Our table was on the side, so the sun shone in and made it hard to see until it went down. Inside might have been better. Definately a place for small groups, tho the adjacent one was very noisy"

"Be carefully when ordering, item descriptions are not complete on menu. Two dishes were covered in onions (major component of the dish that was not mentioned on the menu) made them inedible. Service was excellent with the exception of a very young inexperience server that gave the table next to us completely incorrect information about the wine they were interested in purchasing."

"Difficult to read menu due to subdued lighting, small fonts and numerous selections listed on a small menu. Food and service was very good but the 7 dishes we selected could have been presented in a better order. First out were two potato dishes to start, the potato espanola & potato brava, later came brussels w/ the pork sandwiches, then later came scallops & the chicken w/ the chic peas. Though a better presentation would have been the cold potato espanola w/ the pork sandwiches to start, then the warm potato brava, brussels, and chick peas w/ the 2 main entrees."

"Our service was very good and the Creany Chicken Croquettes were wonderful. We also enjoyed the Steamed Clams (although they were a bit too salty). But the Pan Tomate was almost inedible due to the excessive amount of salt. The table next to us also complained about the saltiness of their dishes. They were actually comped part of their meal. I guess we weren't vocal enough. Another odd thing, the bottle of wine we ordered (recommended by our waiter) was $44 on my menu and $48 on my friend's menu. Of course, we were charged the higher price. The check was corrected when we pointed it out."

"Interesting and tasty tapas such as the pig ears, brussels sprouts and goat cheese tostada; smallest pour of a glass of wine I've ever had, I guess the bar is too focused on their hard-liquor drinks."

"Charming interior and pleasant patio seating. Food was delicious but a few of the items never arrived. Server seemed to disappear on us. On balance, none of people in our group will go back."

"A new fun place, but the menu could be expanded to have some Californication of the tapas.....maybe little ham/cheese sandwiches and tuna tartare, oysters, sliders. Also in Spain you get a few olives and almonds along with your cocktail...don't think you should have to pay for these as no bread is served. Will go back."

"Everything was great, except that it was a bit warm. No big deal. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. As a homebrewer with an interest in food pairing, I wouldn't mind seeing the beer list continue to grow and evolve over time. The Black Lager with the soft serve (caramel and chocolate) was a very nice finish to the meal."

"We love tapas restaurants so we can try several small plates and share. We had the calamari, which was very unique (not fried) but delicious, the clams with the pan tomate that the waitress recommended and was to die for, the lavender quail - amazing, brussel sprouts and the crab fideuá. They also have great gin and tonics and a great wine list! Bon appetit."

"Three of us had lunch. The food was delicious, but rich. Each dish came with a lovely sauce, but no bread to dip in it! We asked for plain bread and they didn't have any, but offered to make their pan bread without the olive oil, etc. So, we took that. The bread came and it was four small pieces, mostly air, so we ordered another plate of it. The plain bread really helped cut the richness of the food. When the bill came, we found that each small piece of bread of $1 so we ended up paying $8 for plain bread which was ridiculous. I would recommend that the chef have some plain bread so his patrons could enjoy the wonderful sauces he makes. Just sayen..."

"Fabulous tapas ... my favorite is the jambon ham, mancheco cheese and the black truffle paste - you'll never find a better ham and cheese sandwich! The other dishes are equally as flavorful: brussel sprouts with sausage and mancheco cheese. The white sangria is delicious as well. Love this place!"
