"I came to the restaurant very excited as I had heard from several friends that the food was excellent and the vibe was fun. Much to my disappointment, I found the service terrible and the staff completely aloof, which ruined the experience for me. We had a 10pm reservation and were not seated until 10:45. The waitress took our order and only brought half of the food, then asked if we had ordered anything else because she could not remember. The staff members seemed misplaced and unsure of how to handle the crowd. We went from having no one check on our dining experience to having four people within the span of two minutes check on us, which was uncomfortable. I would not go back to this restaurant based on the poor experience I had."

"This is one of those places that the food is 100% better then described on the menu. Every bite was a party in the mouth and that went for everything we ordered including the drinks, there was nothing plain or usual about the food. Ambiance inside was a little boring but we ate early so we chose to sit outside and watch the sidewalk of south beach which is anything but boring! We had a lot of small plates and this is a place foodies should not miss!"

You could tell the hostess was overwhelmed with getting people seated. If you want a place with good food - this is your place. It is a bit pricey. "Relatively difficult to find a place to park, but this is probably a problem common to all restaurants in the area. Once inside, we were cheerfully greeted and seated. Our server was quick to answer questions and offer intelligent opinions about which dishes my wife and I might like best. Cocktails and wine were recommended and ordered. They were delicious! We ordered lobster with sides of root vegetables and green beans with cabbage. The sauce on the lobster was tasty, but perhaps a bit powerful for the lobster meat, which was slightly overcooked. The sides were of perfect size for 2 people and were delicious. Deconstructed banana split was wonderful. They will add gratuity to the bill (even for 2 people). Great night!"

"The ambience upstairs was outstanding. A very hip decor. They let me and my husband sit beside each other ( they turned the table to accommodate us). They have the one and only Rasti sommelier ! The food was incredible! The waitress was very helpful in planning the perfect meal. Had the best lobster of my life! When they heard it was our anniversary, they immediately sent us Champagne. We had a fantastic time!!!!"

"It was alittlendissapointing, we got an outside table, very small and the problem isbthat like 2 meters of you are people in the strreet not just talking but smoking, the food is really good and what I didn' t like is that the included in the bill a 20% tip for a party of two."

"Oyster po'biy appetizer was the highlight of the meal. Buttery toast and a delicious fried oyster inside. I could have eaten those all night. The tuna tacos were ok. A bit flavorless. Crab and shrimp pasta was also only ok. Over salted for my taste, and I typically like things salty. Scallop entire was good, underwhelming. Overall the food was a a little disappointing. I was expecting more from the top chef winner. One note about our service. Our waitress was very friendly, however we felt rushed through our meal. Plates were taken very quickly - almost immediately after taking the last bite and she gave us dessert menus while we were still eating our entrees. The timing was definitely off and felt awkword. Not going back."

"Service and food were both excellent. My husband and I arrived a little before our reservation time and sat at the bar. We had a drink and the host kept us up to date on the status if our table. We actually didn't mind the wait. Outstanding service, outstanding food. We will definitely return."

"We were greeted with a professional and vibrant staff and shown to a quiet corner table. We ordered tapas that were phenomenal. Highly recommend the mahi mahi tacos as an appetizer and the Cobia fish with a side of Brussels sprouts were knock your socks off good! The wine list was great but a little pricey but affordable wines are on the list if you know what you're looking for."

"Our first time dining at this restaurant and we will definitely be back. The wait staff were attentive without being obtrusive. The food was flavourful without overpowering the taste of the fish. The hamachi starter was refreshing and the tuna main had a nice spicy to it - tangy without being the main event. We also found some good value on the wine list. We sat outside as inside was empty when we arrived. It was nice to sit outside but by the time we were finished inside had completely filled up and had much more atmposphere. Don't be put off by the flash cars parked outside - it's not that expensive !"

"My college age daughter and I went to Catch Miami this week and absolutely loved it - one of the best meals we ever had! The mussels in red sauce and mahi mahi tacos were are appetizers and they were both wonderful. We also had the branzino and the scallops and cauliflower for entrees and they were both delicious. Had the cookie basket for dessert which was just okay. It was quite pricey though so be forewarned. The atmosphere was great and i would definitely recommend it."

"We were impressed with the server and manager who came to check up on us. The food was excellent, my husband said his seared tuna was the best he has ever tasted. Pretty big compliment coming from a guy who travels the world eating at the best restaurants. I was a bit disappointed, however, that we were seated at a table right next to the bar, near servers station, next to a table with kids, when the center seating area was empty the entire time we were there. We were dressed well and so I can only wonder if they didn't wish to seat a couple of 50 year olds front and center? This kind of thing is a huge turnoff to folks our age..."

"Absolutely delicious food and great service. Request the dining room upstairs -- downstairs area more hectic. Not a single bad dish save for the cookie bucket for dessert -- only ok. Otherwise, great place and would go back. Don't miss the scallops -- Chef Hung's winning dish on Top Chef and I can see why!"

"I had requested a table upstairs but placed downstairs in front of the sushi bar that smelled bad. Unfortunatley this took away from what would have been otherwise a great meal.
Being an OPEN TABLE user I hope that the restaurant sees that it should take into consideration cleint's requests and not relegate them to the lower status as the diners are not part of the "privileged" group that go "upstairs"
I live in SOBE in a condo near the restaurant and it is a shame that establishments treat clients who could be regulars so shabbily."
