Duneland Beach Inn circa 1924, located one hour from Chicago in Northwest Indiana, welcomes you to enjoy Contemporary American Cuisine made from the freshest ingredients available.
A favorite of locals and Chicagoan's alike, the Duneland has become a destination for a memorable dinner serving steaks, exotic fish and fresh seafood. Our menu offerings are seasonal and produced from local ingredients whenever possible.
Come in for an iced layer martini in our cozy lounge, then retire to dinner beside one of the fireplaces, or weather permitting,have dinner with friends on the patio.

"We enjoyed the Dunelands Beach Inn for Motherday, with my adult children. They had a very good menu available for the day, and a grat mixed drinks specialty list. It is a bit off the beaten path, but well signed, and a great change of pace from a strip mall setting!"

"From being seated promptly to paying the check, this was a very pleasant meal. The staff was attentive to any needs and personable. The menu had a wide selection of items sure to fit everyone's taste buds offering drink, entree and dessert options. The food was cooked properly, tasty and plated with care. We will be visiting again."

"Harbor Country only has few restaurant gems and Duneland Beach Inn is one of them. The room is quiet, relaxing and the perfect setting to enjoy a great meal. Our server, Michael, was extremely knowledgable and made the right recommendations and was very attentive. Highly recommend the Pork Porterhouse or the Prime Rib...you can't go wrong! They have a very nice bar area to relax either before or after dinner."

"What I ordered was Risotto--What I got was dried-out rice that spent too much time on a steam table. I was amazed that a chef would let something this bad be spooned onto a serving plate. It was just as bad when they attempted to "fix" it. That and tasteless fish made a horrible special. It's been years since I've eaten there--It will be longer before I go back."

"Beautiful, romantic, magical setting in the Dunes. Excellent creative menu, very professional wait staff, best bartender, just a lovely experience overall. This was our second visit and we will return for another special occasion.
We had the Ahi Tuna appetizer which was perfect. My Lake perch dinner was really outstanding. Husband had the filet and was impressed: cooked perfectly. Berry pie for dessert was delicious with the perfect cup of coffee.
The attention to detail at Duneland Inn restaurant is to be admired."
