"We had no idea this Steak House in Harrah's Reno was going to be so amazing. It is truly one of the best meals we have had !!! and we eat out often. We had table side Caesar Salad; yum and then my husband had Steak Diane prepared at the table as well, followed by Cafe Dorado. Our daughter had Veal Picatta; best ever. We live in the wine country and the bartender, sorry I don't have her name recommended a wine they had on special that is a few miles from our house. It too was wonderful, now we need to get over there and buy some more. Michael the Maitre d' was great; we left with hugs all around. We don't go to Reno often but will be planning another visit to this incredible restaurant."

"Harrah's Reno Steakhouse is probably the best steakhouse west of the Mississippi River.
It compares to Lugar's in NYC, Sam and Harry's in DC and Shula's in Miami. Old time class service you can't find anymore. From the minute you walk in you know you are a valued guest. Food, wine and spirits are the best anywhere. Price is more than resonable for the overall quality experience.
My wife and I make it a must visit every time we're in the Reno/Tahoe area."

"I have lived in Reno for 30 years and Harrah’s Steak House was the best in town. The place you went for that special occasion. It was my 25 years wedding anniversary I wanted to treat my family to wonderful meal. What a disappointment. The service was awful the waiter had too many tables. It took 15 minutes to get a drink order and 30 minutes to take the dinner order. The food at best was satisfactory. No need to return."

"This was our first time at the Steak House, which was recommended to us by a friend. We difinitly plan on returning in July for my Birthday and can't wait to tell all our friends how wonderful it was.
I especially would like to make a HUGE COMPLIMENT to our server's...Ali, Mario, and also Marjorie. They were absoultly the BEST! Harrahs Casino should be pround to have people like them employed by then. Thank you all so much for a memorable time.

"I have always enjoyed dinning at the Steakhouse. Very cozy and upscale without being stuffy. This last visit we had two of our small grandchildren with us and the staff made us all feel very comfortable. There real pro's here. And as always the meal was outstanding."

"While this is typically one of our favorite Reno restaurants- this particular evening was a miss. We sat at a booth near the back of the restaurant where the overhead lights mimicked a strobe... Originally finding strangely funny, we finally lost the humor of feeling like we were tripping out. The waiter dimmed the light (VERY low) and fixed the problem. The waiter serving the table next to us was obnoxiously kissing up to his clients, telling them, "for you, this $150 bottle of wine will only be $60". Tacky- especially when we were ordering a very nice bottle- at no discount. When our food arrived COLD- seriously, cold(!) we had to send it back. They reheated it and we finally enjoyed our meal. The tableside ceasar is the best, anywhere!"

"For 12 years this tucked away gem has become a traditional "got to go" evening for my associate and me when we are in Reno every other year for a conference. The staff is friendly yet professional and unobtrusively attentive. The steaks are excellent and the table-side preparation of several items from Caesar salad, to Steak Diane and flambéed desserts are entertaining and interesting. You don't have to order dessert as a delightful assortment of truffles and other chocolates brought to your table in a "steaming" bowl (dry ice and water make the steam) is a part of your meal. If you wish to order dessert I highly recommend the Crème Brule… one of, if not the best I’ve had."

"Harrah's Steakhouse continues to offer very good food combined with great service. It offers an atmosphere and service from an earlier more elegant time. The Caesar salad prepared at tableside is always a treat. There are civilized touches like the amuse bouche presented to start. Then there is the palate cleansing sorbet between courses. While I don't enjoy chocolate, I understand that the house made chocolates at the end of the meal are delicious. Let them know if it is a special occasion and they will treat you accordingly. I highly recommend this great restaurant!"

"Very old traditional steakhouse. Throwback to the last century in terms of menu and service. Great place for a special occasion. A bit on the pricy side as there are a few similar steakhouses in Reno that serve similar food for a bit less, but they don't have the atmosphere of the old Harrah's. Would definitely come again for that special evening to celebrate an occasion."

"The food and service were great and was a perfect selection for our anniversary. The prime rib was good, but not outstanding. The wine selection, recommended by our waiter was fantastic, as was the surprise dessert and the "cafe diablo" to finish things off.
