our concept this idea was the driving force, for our friends and our foods are inextricably
connected. We, at Picante, cook what we want to share, the memories of our flavors, the flavors

"Really tasty & fresh food right in the heart of the Fashion District/The Alley. They're upstairs and have a nice balcony so you're above and a little hidden from the bustle on the streets. We all really enjoyed our meals (shrimp tacos, ceviche, grilled shrimp plate, fish tacos, etc), would definitely recommend this place!"

"Food and attentiveness of staff was excellent. Order the Cerviche! We went on a Sunday night at 5:00 and because it closed @ 5:30 we were impressed that the staff was more than happy to let us take our time dining. Rated the ambiance not for the interior of restaurant but that it is in the busy and unruly Fashion District, but the restaurant was spotless and inviting inside."

"Okay so this was not at all what I expected. I would encourage trying this restaurant for lunch, but absolutely not for dinner. It overlooks Santee Alley in the heart of the Garment district, which at night, is a ghost town and not at all safe. If the restuarant attracted a good night-time crowd - that would be different, but last Saturday night at 7PM, my date and I were alone, except for one other table. Plus, the decor is casual to say the least (Tommy Bahama's leftover tables and chairs, literally), which for a date-night, just didn't cut it. I'm sure that during the day-time, with the market street buzzing, it would be a fun place to go for good food. The service was excellent, and the food was good. Try them for lunch!"
