Owner Vir Singh learned to cook in restaurants in India and the United States, and often visits India to learn about varies Indian regional cooking. Vir Singh idea of blending authentic Indian food with modern Indian flavor is giving "curry" a new definition.

"The food was delicious, hands down the best Indian food I have had in Austin. The Chili Chicken was especially tasty. The decor is nice, a bit more upscale than the typical Indian restaurant. The noise level was low, so it was easy to carry on a conversation, which I appreciate.
Our only complaint was the service. On the positive side, our waiter was friendly and pleasant, and quite helpful in explaining the menu items. However, service was slow. It took a very long time to get our check. This seemed to be because our waiter was just too busy. The place was simply understaffed. Perhaps they just came up short handed that night. I will certainly be back for the food."

"I purchased a couple of Groupon vouchers and did not read the fine print. I invited 3 friends to the Saturday buffet and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We shall return for dinner to use the Groupon vouchers at a later date. I really appreciate a great Indian Restaurant on this side of town!"
