"I enjoyed ny trip to Andy's very much indeed. I went bringing two guests and we were all quite pleased. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient, and the service left notjing to be desired. The menu is an interesting mix of the familiar and the eclectic. The Gulf fish of the day, for instance, was Sheepshead, a delicacy well known to locals, but seldom found on a restaurant menu. My favorite?.....the Crab Napolean was to die for. I will certainly be back."

"Lunch was delicious, and service was excellent. Onion rings and crab cakes were the best I have ever eaten. Had the special (seafood platter), which was very reasonably priced and plentiful. Will definitely recommend to my family and friends."

"A group of five of us went to dinner on a Thursday night. The service was very good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. My one pet peeve of all restaurants is when the staff clears plates from the table while I am taking my last bite. I hate, hate, hate this. I have bread in one hand, am still chewing my appetizer, and here comes the bus staff picking up the appetizer plate and the bread plate. PLEASE RESTAURANTS: We hate this. Please let us finish our food and not feel rushed! The food was very good. The Oysters Andrea are excellent! The shrimp and grits had a New Orleans BBQ sauce that was tasty, but overpowered the delicate taste of the cheese grits. I think the sauce should have been a bit milder."

"First time at Andy's after hearing good reviews. Food was excellant from the Oysters Andrea to the Shrimp & Grits. Went very early dinner since we had a concert to attend that evening so hard to judge the noise level but seems like a place you could have a large party and not interupt a couple. Service was outstanding...very attentive, courses came out nicely timed from the appetizer. Will definitely return!"

"It was almost empty on a Friday night. Food and service was good. Both were better the first visit. Everyone should go now because I don't think it will last long. It is really a nice place but not visible from Vets."

"Visited Andy's on a business trip and was happily surprised. The food was excellent while the service was friendly but not high end. I'll pay Andy's another visit when I'm back in Metarie."

"The place is lovely. We had to ask to move to another table because it was so cold. It took them sometime to decide that we could move to a now empty table. The front doors open and create a draft. They need to put some type of screen to block the airflow or put a heater near these tables. The food was very good. The place was very busy and we were grateful we had a reservation. I can say that if the management continued to be reluctant to move us to another table we would have left and never returned. We were just sitting waiting to order."

"Geat neighborhood restaurant that you should visit. Atmosphere was great. Enjoyed a drink before my meal at truly a great bar. Lots of fun. My dinner did not disappoint.Had a filet that came out sizzling on my plate that was cooked perfectly. Finished up with some breadpudding that was the best I have ever had. The staff was great. I will be back."

"Andy's Bistro is a delight in suburban Metairie. We made dinner reservations for Valentine's dinner for two couples. We were not disappointed for such a new restaurant. The menu selections were varied. The local seafood dishes were outstanding. The drink specials were quite nice, too. Service was very prompt and pace was perfect. We will certainly be coming back to Andy's."

"We had a group of 5 and each had a different entree and they were all spot on. Double-cut chop was excellent. And their steaks literally sizzle...arrive on an oven-heated plate. I know that this is a new restaurant and things are still evolving but progress seems good. Bar is a highlight and even tried Tomas' bacon-infused bourbon cocktail and it was a super. I would recommend this new restaurant which I believe is only a few months old."

"Best ribeye I've eaten anywhere! Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The Shrimp Sublime is appropriately named, and the Crabmeat Napoleon is equally as delicious. Loved the macaroni and cheese! The wait staff was professional, courteous and eager to please. I will definitely go back!!"

"So glad Chef Andrea opened this Bistro in Metairie. We were a party of 4 ladies for lunch and were lucky enough to have Dee wait on us. She was an awsome waitress and let us have a leisurely lunch without the rush you usually get at most chain restaurants (Houston's, Zea's, etc.). Food was prepared with attention to every detail. Will definetely go back."

"The evening was enjoyable. The noise level was not "energetic", but "excessive". Suggest acoustic treatment on ceilings, walls and floors. I must admit because of a hearing deficiency I wear a hearing aid in my left ear. I found it very hard to concerse with my wife. If you can't install acoustic materials then separate a "quiet" section. Tony"

"Food was just O.K, waitresses need a little more training, slow getting drinks wine had bits of cork in it, also spilled wine all over table. The bread was hard. I know they are new, hopefully they can work out the problem areas."

"Loved the lights in the tree in the parking lot. All of us loved the food. The atmosphere was wonderful. It was loud from everyone talking but not too annoying. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and definitely go back to try more meals on the menu."

"My family recently dined at Andy's for a celebration dinner. Andy's menu offered a great variety of foods, from well seasoned, sizzling prime steaks and fish to delicious wood oven baked pizzas. My family loved the Oysters Sherman and the Crabmeat Napolean appetizers! The macaroni and cheese and creamed spinache sides were equally delicious. The "Dessert Storm" was the perfect way to end our celebration! The wait staff was very attentive and personable. The bar area was very inviting and a great spot to meet for drinks after work! We will definitely go back!!"

"This restaurant is new - less than a month. However, it has a pedigree with link to well known Italian restaurant, Andrea's. Chef, Dwight Sherman, has been around with stops at Emeril's, TPC Louisiana, Ralph & Kacoos. The restaurant has upside as it finds itself and will save Metairie residents the long drive into New Orleans for comparable bistro-style food. As a new dig, the food is variable however the service is very attentive, the interior is perfect and Tomas at the bar is top-notch. Best Sazerac this side of Parish line. The chef also loves to chat and is very open to comments about fare and service. My wife's salmon was grand but my redfish only so-so. My recommendation is to give the place a try and be patient. Success is near."

"Really like this place ! The food is awesome and the setting is clean and vibrant. I was served a piece of redfish at lunch yesterday that was just gorgeous. This place is going to become Metairie's Galatoire's very quickly."

"New favorite lunch spot. Who would have thought that Metairie would have a non-corporate chain like restaurant that does such a great job. Food, Service and those cocktails...a "made from scratch" bloody mary?!?! Did not know they could taste so good. Highly recomended."
