ME Casa is a Puerto Rican inspired restaurant featuring authentic Latin dishes with a new flavorful taste and feel. It is the ONLY Full Service Puerto Rican restaurant serving lunch and dinner in the downtown Jersey City area. All of the menu’s inspired concepts and designs have been created by Chefs Laura Melendez and Eddie Cotto Jr. ME Casa will provide an exceptional Latin inspired dining experience like no other. "I have been to Me Casa a few times and have brought people from different countries and cultures and everyone is always very satisfied with the food. Large portions, that taste good at very reasonable prices. If you never had mofongo, this is the place to try it. Highly recommended."

"This place is great. There are only a few tables but it was not crowded at lunch. I have a feeling it will be when people start to find out about it. It's a bit tucked away right off Columbus Ave but worth finding.The staff is very attententive and friendly. The chef/owner came out to talk to us and you can tell he loves what he does by his attitude and the food.All three of us LOVED what we had. It's a short menu but it seems everything on the menu is excellent.I highly recommend this place if your near the Grove Street PATH station. Take the 10 minute walk."

"We came into town for WRESTLEMANIA!! Using Open Table we found ME Casa and we were delighted! The beautiful server was welcoming and informative about each dish on the menu. The "Sunday roast", pernil was sensational, generous ample portion. Shrimp ceviche served with elegant style also delicious. We sampled all empanadas and the accompaning sauces, GREAT!! Seafood gumbo and roast chicken rounded out the table. We truly enjoyed this small neighborhood spot. Should not be missed!!"

"Can we get any luckier? ME Casa is right across the street from our complex. We were looking for a place to eat that was nearby and decided to check out the reviews only to see that with 95 reviews the restaurant had over 4 stars. We had to check it out. It's a cozy environment which makes everything feel friendlier. Eddie and his team are simply fantastic hosts, taking full care of you throughout the night. We devoured our empanadas (light and fresh) while the team cooked up my wife's chicken (amazing) and conjured up a wonderful vegetarian meal for me -- not a drop left on my plate. I can't say enough about the restaurant, the service, the food, and how lucky we are at this gem is right outside our front door. Amazing. Go!"
