"This was our fourth time here in as many months and yet again we was not disappointed. My husband had the steak, which melted in his mouth and I had the special, a type of swordfish, which was also full of flavour and tender. We sat outside as it was a lovely warm evening and even though you look onto the Dublin Road, it's not busy or noisy at all. Looking forward to our next visit already!!"

"We always go to Oscars when we are in town for The Memorial. The food is great, love the NY Strip and the softshell was devine. Our server was fantastic - she was friendly, prompt and checked on us at the right times. We will return again and again."

"We understand that Oscar's may have been busier because of the golf tournament but we were practically ignored at the bar while we waited for our table. And our martini's were not shaken to be very cold as we requested.
At dinner the NY strip was not cooked as ordered. The waitress did not come around to check on us after the runners brought our food so every one was nearly finished eating when the steak finally went back to be cooked as ordered.
The walleye, an Oscar's feature for many years, did not have the flavor that I remember it having.
We will go back hopefully this was just a bad night."

"Must have been an off night for them. VERY long wait for food, over an hour and a half. A party of 2 and 3 seated after us got their food first and were done eating by the time our meals arrived. Usually great calamari was all tentacles. Crab was hard to come by in the less than warm crab cakes. My guest found the salmon to be cold as well with a strange coating. All in all an off night for this usual quality restaurant."

"Hi, we love Oscar's and when I worked nearby came often for lunch. A few times dined in evening for friends and the food is wonderful. We are considering a couple evening over summer.

"Oscar's has lovely ambiance on a little corner of lovely Dublin Ohio, with it's beautiful brick streets, lovely landscaping, beautiful outdoor restaurants. The food was wonderful and they have small portions of the dinner selections which many restaurants do not have. Oscar's also has outdoor seating which is very charming. I highly recommend this great restaurant. I will definitely be back. On weekends, make a reservation as it's not a huge place and gets crowded. Enjoy!"

"Seated outside, bottom line after 62 minutes, all we got was 2 glasses of water, 2 white wines and a side salad and bread (we had to ask for the bread). We actually got up and left before our entrees were delivered. I went to pay for the wine and salad, the manager did come out and say "we'll take care of that." OK - thanks, but will not come back again. Poor."

"I rented out the private room for a business meeting. It was the perfect setting for us to meet in a relaxed environment where we could discuss our upcoming ideas prior to settling into more formal meetings in the upcoming days. The food was excellent. I had the Arctic Char which was wonderful."

I had a table for 6 reserved, ended up sitting in the bar area at the large round table, it was cozy, but fun. "We have been to Oscar's many times and love it. This time they seemed to be off their mark...
We arrived around 8:00 for our reservation and were seated immediately. Our wait staff was not as attentive as usual for a fine dining experience, in fact, we were pretty much ignored. She didn't tell us of the special entrees that night, but then 2 minutes later, told the table beside us! We had filet mignon and new york strip steaks both ordered medium and they arrived well done. My husband's old fashioned (cocktail) was the "worst he's ever had" and then the oddest thing happened when we were leaving. It was only 9:00pm on a Saturday night, but when we went to the valet station for the car, he was gone and our car was locked!!"

"Excellent service and food, however mashed potatoes on one entree were plated too early so not served very hot. The flavors that come out in common dishes continue to impress us at Oscars. "Overall, my group was unimpressed. The food was alright, but I will not be rushing back. I ordered the Louisiana crab cake as an appetizer and the filet for dinner. Although there was actually a fair amount of crab in the crab cake (which is my typical complaint), the issue was that it had no flavor. The crab cake relied completely on the pepper sauce it is served with. As for the filet, pretty much the same story. It was nothing special - completely dependent on the port wine sauce it was served with, which to me was a little too sweet. I would imagine that the blue cheese was supposed to balance the sweetness of the port wine sauce, but I apparently didn't get enough to accomplish that. Similar sentiments from the rest of my party."

"Initially we were impressed with the wine (Shiraz), hors d'oeuvres, beet salad/soup, but the entrees were more than lacking in flavor and preparation. I had the pasta with prosciutto/broccoli raab/oyster mushrooms, my girlfriend had the veal scallopini. The veal was extremely tough (like skirt steak tough) and the only item I could taste in the pasta dish were the mushrooms (overcooked the egg as well). Quite a disappointing finish after a wonderful start. So giving the food a 'Fair' rating is being generous!"

"Loved the food, good wine list. Service was good, and it was Valentines Day, so it was packed. The place could get a little loud at times, and several of the tables were too close together for my comfort, but they might have added a few extras because of high demand.
Really looking forward to going back. Might be my new favorite place."

"Went there for Valentine's Day with my girlfriend. We split the Calamari, she had the Snapper Special, and I had the Filet Mignon, all of it was delicious. I would highly recommend the Calamari. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to go for a date."

"We just moved to the Columbus area and are not yet totally familiar with the area, needed to find an upscale restaurant for a special Valentines day dinner with my lovely wife of 18 years. It was a guessing game. Well, I must say Oscars fulfilled all of our expectations!!! The reservation process was easy, the location was easy to find, the food and overall experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend open table and Oscars to anyone looking to share a special occasion with someone special!!
