"Had chicken scarpariello. It had 4 tiny bone-in thigh pieces. Unbelievably little chicken for a $23 dish. The eggplant parmesan appetizer was also greatly overpriced at $17. The food wasn't bad, just not worth anywhere remotely close to the price charged. I went on a Thursday at 7:30pm and there were only 5 diners in the restaurant."

"I really wanted this restaurant to be wonderful. It was just OK. This was the first time I have seen a waiter talk on his cell phone while serving diners. The calamari & zucchini was undercooked and greasy. I had the linguine w/white clam sauce which had fresh clams but was nothing special. The frutti de mare was the best dish at our table of four and I would go back for that. Other tables had some nice looking meat dishes that we will also try next time. This little corner of So Miami/Coral Gables badly needs a standout Italian trattoria which is why I will try it again. But they really need to pay more attention."

"10 minutes to be acnowledged. 20 minutes to take a drink order. Very poor service. When our food arrived the guy put it on our table without even looking us in the eye. We thanked him and he grunted at us. Terrible! Food was good though."

"Excellent food prepared fresh. I like it that they will alter a dish somewhat to accommodate you. The staff is not stuffy or looming, but attend to detail. My husband and I have been there several times, but we do not believe the owner or greeter remembers us even though we went out of our way to be complimentary. While this is certainly not necessary, and while we will continue to go there, I think every patron likes to be greeted (especially when they have our reservation). All in all it is one of our favorites when we really want to have a romantic, quiet, delicious dinner."
