"Not for the faint at heart...must love hot & spicy food to enjoy! I asked for mine to be extra spicy, my wife wanted the least spicy dish on the menu. When my wifes cocunut curry arrived, it was sooo spicy that she could barely eat the main entree (I think they made hers extra spicy instead of mine accidentally-oops!) She still managed to enjoy the other items on her plate though. And I got to enjoy her curry, lol! The flavours were amazing & the portions were quite generous with a variety of items with the entrees. The ambiance was nice, with a good mix of modern, traditional & romantic. I'd definitely give it a try again if we venture back to Honolulu in the future:)"

"The Little India Restaurant was a great find especially if you are looking for some authentic Indian in Hawaii. The restaurant also provides take out service. The dinner platters offer a good selection of variety. The price of the meals are reasonable and this would be a place that I would recommend for couples, families, or a place to eat and read."

"We made a reservation for 6:45, showed up on time, and the "waiting area" was full despite two tables being open, so we were asked to wait outside--where we were promptly forgotten. It was after 7pm when we saw other people go in and promptly get seated at one of the two open tables. We went back in to remind them about our reservation and we were chided because, "6:45 was a while ago" and we were late. After we were seated, the server went over the options and we ordered, to be told immediately that the item was not available. Why not mention that when going over the options? If there are few enough options to list them all, why not either skip the one that is unavailable or mention its status?"

"Very good Indian restaurant. Nice small place. Very friendly service. Fast enough for convenience but not rushed. So far on two visits by two diners, ever dish very good, especially main dish. Recommend highly. Also good value for Waikiki!"

"It was my first visit to this neighborhood restaurant, and I will definitely return! Great food, friendly staff, and wonderful amenities for Valentine's Day (rose petals on the tables and a red rose given to the women after the meal). It made for a wonderful dining experience."
