"Our family loves Gonza's! It's no surprise that it is always busy!! Most recently we went for my husband's birthday. Food was delicious and service excellent as usual! Highly recommend Gonza's for both a casual evening meal or fun special occassion! We wish we lived a bit closer so we could go more often! My only regret is that because I am expecting a baby I couldn't have one of the famous margaritas... the virgin pomegranate margarita was a good mocktail choice. :)"

"We took some relatives visiting from out of town to Gonza on Friday for late afternoon drinks shortly after they opened, and they were impressed enough with their margaritas and the looks of the menu to want to return for dinner the next night. Gonza has some truly excellent tacos, especially the pastor; the pork is so tender and flavorful. Our party had some special requests regarding seating which I made in the reservation, which they were happy to accommodate. The outside tub to make bubbles is a really great touch, as we had two small children in our group; it gives the kids something to enjoy while the adults are enjoying after-dinner drinks. The next time our relatives are in town, I'm sure they'll want to come back!"

"The restaurant is so eclectic and fabulous. The bar menu has great drinks, but definitely go for the tequila drinks. There's a reason for the name! The food is so good I couldn't stop eating because I didn't want to waste any food. The guac and queso are delish and go great with the tacos."

"We made reservations with high expectations based on the review of others on Open Table. We came away very disappointed because of the food. One person in our party ordered the chicken fajitas which included four very large (too large) chunks of chicken with peppers and onions that were stuck to the skillet and three small tortillas that were hard. Nothing else accompanied the fajitas. Ditto for the other entrees: if you order tacos that is all you get! The ambiance is fun and the crowd is lively but it is unlikely we will return because of the food which is shame because it is a neat restaurant."

"Love the atmosphere. ..easily accommodated large group.. but make reservation early.. this is a popular place. Food was great! I could have made a meal off the salsa and chips.. salsa was fresh and definitely not out a jar. Shrimp fajitas were great as well as the chicken quesadillas. Service was great..highly recommend Justin. Even the manager came by several times to ensure all our needs were meet. Celebrating a birthday and made the birthday boy feel special with birthday serenade and a shot of tequila! Will definitely be going back again!"

"I am Mexican, the ambiance is great not intimidating and the decoration is very nice. We were a table of nine and they treat us very well. Our server was fast and happy to please. The owner, who is Colombian, was very friendly. The food is not Mexican but the American version, however the tacos were fairly good. The menu is small, but all my group liked what they ordered.

"The scene is vibrant and festive, hustling and bustling, the way you'd expect a great restaurant to be. The service was top-notch from the hostess that I confirmed with on the phone to the server to all the hands that chipped in along the way. I work in the industry so it was very apparent to me that these folks know how to handle a very busy restaurant! We love the passion fruit margaritas, the bacon wrapped chilis but all our food was GREAT! My friend said her chicken quesadilla was the BEST she ever tasted (and she's tasted alot!!) I will say if you are looking for swank, chic, or scene-y, this is not your place. Kids run around wild outside and the noise level is up there. But truthfully, when you got it, you got it and Gonza's GOT IT!"

"This was my second visit to Tacos Y Tequila. After having lunch there several weeks ago and loving it I suggested it for a recent family dinner out. The food was delicious, easily the best guacamole and salsa in town! The atmosphere is fun and energetic and the service was flawless. "Gonza Tacos y Tequila is one of my favorite restaurants! Love the spicy Mexican Mojito with the serrano peppers mixed in. The food is great, the service is wonderful, it's like visiting old friends. The managers always remember us and will even ask about people who are usually in our group, but maybe didn't make it this time. This is a lively, upbeat place and it can get loud, so if you need a little less noise, ask for a corner spot on the covered porch. Love, love, love this place...."

"We have lived in this neighborhood over 20 years and have never seen such a successful restaurant in this shopping center! Food is wonderful and fresh ! Staff is friendly & courteous, the owner makes the rounds to meet and greet. You can tell he truly appreciates his patrons and the business they bring in to his restaurant! Tinga is my favorite, but everything on the menu is delicious. The portions are perfect - - not your typical over-abundant platter of food! HIghly recommend!"

"This place is pretty neat - I don't know how I didn't know about it sooner! Music was kind of too loud, but it was good music so it kind of balanced out. Food was AWESOME! But its very small portions... If you're looking for a big meal, get more than just one dish. I love spicy stuff, so as far as drinks, I will definitely be ordering the Spicy Pepino again. "Good food, good service, reasonable prices. Good place for younger folks that like loud music and noise. Not so good for those that like to converse over a meal without yelling at each other.I did not answer yes or no to would I recommend TYT because it would depend on to whom I was talking.Pet peeve: I wish TYT (and other restaurants) would tell their wait staff to say something like "I'll be your server" instead of "I'll be taking care of you." This is a restaurant, not a rest home. In response to "thanks," they might say "you're welcome," instead of "no problem.""

"As always, Gonza's was delicious & quick. We loved the new lunch menu. It would have been a perfect lunch if one diner had only controlled her pre-schooler running around, tripping waitstaff & gorging on the free mints at the hostess stand. I wanted to stand up & play "grumpy grandma" & demand that the child behave! I think the owner showed great restraint in not showing her & her brat the door!"

"Great place. Mahi Mahi tacos were especially good. Have always had quality food; very fun atmosphere although it can be noisey inside. If you want a quieter setting, ask for patio seating. I rated the service as 'good' only because the waitress didn't seem very enthusiastic about being there. Always impressed with seeing the manager walk around and interacting with customers."
