Located in downtown Tulsa’s Brady District, PRHYME Downtown Steakhouse introduces an upscale, modern interpretation of an American steakhouse. Unlike other steakhouses, PRHYME offers beef that is raised and finished in several different ways in order to give its guests a chance to sample how the feed and environment play a role in producing the best beef America has to offer. Seasonal seafood, artistically plated appetizers and classic caviar service are just some of the tempting tastes prepared by Chef/Owner, Justin Thompson and his staff at PRHYME.
Of course, no meal would be complete without that perfectly paired wine. Knowing this, we offer over 225 wine selections, meticulously chosen by our Certified Sommelier and Beverage Director, Joe Breaux.
Our professional, yet welcoming staff lead by our General Manager and Operating Partner T.C. LeRoy invite you to join us for, what we believe, is the best Tulsa has to offer in an upscale, modern steakhouse.
"I read a few not so good reviews before going about the food and service. I have to say they did not eat at the same restaurant I did. The service was top notch and the food was incredible. Everyone in my party enjoyed our meal and we had a great dining experience. I will definitely be going back."

"I thought the hostess could have been friendlier. I hate it when I have to speak first and am not greeted or asked, "How can I help you this evening?" Just a little pet peeve of mine. We were seated in between the bar and the kitchen, so the ambiance didn't do it for me either. What redeems this restaurant is the wait staff and the very good food. My wedge salad was wonderful and my scallops with a butternut squash puree and fried spinach were magnifique! My husband had a 30 day aged filet and it was also very good. Our waiter made some great wine recommendations to go with our meal. Overall, the food and waitstaff were the highlights and essentially, the most important parts of a meal anyway."

"My boyfriend and I went to Prhyme to celebrate a job promotion. The service was excellent! We had an appetizer that was very different than what we thought it was going to be. Make sure you know exactly what it is before you order it. We both had the grass fed beef and it was cooked perfectly and was fantastic. I had a lobster tail that was very good sized, but came out kind of cold. It was cooked perfectly but tasted a little too fishy. Make sure it's a cold water lobster if you don't want it to be fishy. This is definitely a place we will return to. I prefer Prhyme over Mahogany's!"

"After much hype by the resturant and our anticipation, we were expecting a much better food and wait service than recieved. The steak was NOT the best and frankly for what was $ charged for the meal it was an insult We may give the resturant a "pass" as it may have been a bad night, but it will be a while before we do return in hopes the problems they experience becomes corrected."

"The wine list was extensive with a good blending of less expensive to high end wines. Knowledge of wines to go with meal selection also excellent as you would expect with this level of restaurant. All of the food selections that we tried we perfectly cooked, appropriately seasoned, and perfectly plated and presented. All of the staff was helpful and attentive without distracting from the dining experience. I have never had a wet-cured steak before but it was tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. If you have never tried it before, I recommend it highly. The menu itself is limited in the number of different offerings but I believe that allows the chef to make each dish an experience to be enjoyed."

"Food was outstanding. One of the best meals I've had in some time and we eat at many 4 star restaurants. Our table had the salmon, scallops, reg filet and 21 day wet aged filet and all were excellent. Only downside would be if you are in a hurry the service was a little slow, not bad. If you want to relax and visit with your table the time line is fine"

"Phenomenal service! Dinner for two with a nominal bottle of wine: $300! The small dining room makes for a pretty loud experience if other tables have loud talkers or people who's voice carries well. Very comfortable and again, out-of-this world service from the time we walked in the door until the time we walked out."

"Would not recommend. Never received our side orders with out meal. Drinks took 20-30 minutes because bar was backed up and never received our second order of oysters, but we were charged for it. One of the worst dinning experiences ever. Texas Road House has better food and service."

"We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Prhyme and it was an amazing experience! They went above and beyond to make it a special occasion. The food and service was excellent. I enjoyed the wet-aged filet mignon while my wife had the wet-aged rib-eye. Both were very flavorful and extremely moist. The veal Demi-glacé sauce was top-notch. Had never tried brussel sprouts until now, and the bacon butter flavor has me hooked. I can't say enough about how amazing this place was. Best place for special occasions in Tulsa!"

"Steaks were Ok - not outstanding. Primary waitress was excellent, support staff just "good." For example, I was not offered fresh pepper for my salad and it took a few minutes to get that issue resolved. Additionally, we had a party of 12-14 loud guests next to our table - very load and they took lots of pictures-very annoying. At $150 per person (table of four) our dinner was not worth the price.
We have had dinner at Prhyme several times, all were excellent (4-5 star rated). Hopefully this was just an off night. But once again, if you are going to spend $600 for dinner it better be awesome EVERY time."

"An unlikely find in the bottom floor of a Fairfield Inn. Great steaks, knowledgeable staff, good service. One of the best restaurants in downtown Tulsa (and also the most expensive)."

"My wife and I normally think of a nice, fancy dinner as spending between $100-120 for the two of us. So, on this special occasion (wife's birthday) we decided to try Phryme for the first time after good word-of-mouth from a few friends. After looking at the menu on their website, we knew going in that it would more expensive than our usual "nice, expensive" dinner, but the menu items looked too good to pass up. From the moment we walked in the resturant, it was clear that the staff wanted to provide you with the best experience possible. Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful in explaining all the different menu options (difference between 21-day wet-aged and 40-day dry-aged beef selections). Very good and worth every penny!"

"The wait staff was incredibly knowledge, not only about the steaks, but the wine & cocktail pairings as well. I liked how Phryme didn't feel like an old stuffy restuarant, which is normally what you find with premium steak houses. I will definitely fine their again."

"The experience was a little underwhelming. The service was very good. Waiters and servers were very attentive. The bone-in rib-eye was mediocre, medium rare was a little dry and too much gristle. We spent nearly $300 for two people, which fortunately is not an issue for us - we just were expecting a better steak. We probably will not return. We're not angry, just underwhelmed. Fleming's, Mahogany, and even McGill's on 19 at the Hard Rock were better experiences and better steak. Our favorite steak is in OKC - at Cattleman's."

"Had the 21 day wet aged filet cooked medium rare. It was cooked perfectly but felt it lacked a mouth watering taste. Resturant was very loud and we sat two feet from another couple which was too close. Soda selection very poor and getting charged 3.00 per 12oz bottle is just ludicrous. Very beautifully decorated and great location. Service was great from the time we walked in the door. Overall, not what I was expecting from a top grade steakhouse. Will not be returning for multiple reasons. Best of luck."

"The service was fantastic along with a wonderful menu. Each menu selection from appetizer to desert was very delicious. The portion size was just right- not too big or too small. I would certainly suggests this to anyone looking for a wonderful restaurant to a special occasion for a special someone or would like to truly treat a client!"

"While the food was great quality, I would say that you can actually get comparable, if not better, quality food for a better price at other restaurants in Tulsa. The ambiance just wasn't not what I like. It was quiet but seemed "stuffy".
For me, the "wow" factor just wasn't there even though the food and service was good."

"My husband and I booked our reservations 3 weeks in advance and invited another couple to share what we thought would be an extraordinary fine dining experience. We were all very disappointed. We hardly saw the server after she took our order. We ordered drinks before dinner and one member of our party didn't get his drink until the rest of us were finished with ours because the server forgot it. Our party of four ordered steaks, 3 wet aged and 1 dry aged. The dry aged bone-in strip was so tough that I had to send it back. It had no flavor, just gristle throughout. Two other steaks were mostly fat and too overcooked. Our guests took the meat home for their dogs. Won't be going back to Prhyme."

"The food was good but there are better steaks in Tulsa at a little less expensive price. Everyone has different taste and those who like steak should give it a try but I will not be back unless someone else invites me. My wife and I spent over 3 hundred dollars including a 50 dollar bottle of wine. I would prefer Juniper for the price (the chefs other restaurant). It is just really hard to beat Mahogany in Tulsa still the best steak for me. The service was outstanding, the food good but in my opinion not worth the price."

"We tried Phryme because I am a fan of Justin Thompson, the executive chef for Juniper as well, and my husband loves steak - it did not disappoint! We loved everything! My grass fed filet was amazing and so was my husband's 40-day dry-aged ribeye. The fois gras butter that comes with each steak should not be passed up by anyone ever! The sommelier chose wonderful wine pairings for each of us and our server informed us that he also built their wine list based on the menu. We started with veal marrow canoes and that was wonderful. And finished with the bourbon Verne brûlée with soaked macerated berries, I get creme brûlée everywhere and this is by far the best in Tulsa. The atmosphere was great, and our server was perfect."

"Service was fair, though waiter was pleasant, but we poured some of our own wine at times as he was committed to other busier tables. Some dishes were not as noted in the menu and tasted very different than described. For high price, there are better values for taste, ambiance and service."
