"Took my wife to Gabriele's for her birthday. Service was Excellent. Food was phenomenal. Cocktails were very good. Was pricey given what we had (salmon and rib eye) with nothing outlandish in terms of other ingredients. Food was excellently prepared- crust on salmon was like nothing I've ever had with a salmon filet. Steak had great 'char' while still maintaining a medium internal temp. Very good wine list and tasty cocktails make for a nice evening."

"Went for a special occasion, knowing prices would match. Food, while good (we opted for steaks) was not equal to other steakhouses we've been to, which was disappointing as prices were higher. A larger party was loudly occupying a center table in the circular dining room and acoustics did not dim the noise. A plus, the waiter was very good. Reported elsewhere to be a top Greenwich dining spot, I would choose others over this one, and if there again, would choose a pasta dish (which smelled great going to other tables)."

"Beautiful interior space. Nice touch with the complimentary sausage bread. Delicious wines in elegant stemware. Bone-In Rib nice cut of meat and perfectly cooked. Steer clear of the creamed spinach which tasted like a glass of milk poured over frozen spinach, not your usual steakhouse level. Pappardelle homemade noodles cooked perfectly, but the sauce was lack luster and ordinary. Go early as the noise level as the evening goes on becomes impossible to dine and converse. The table next to us, with four small children, were all but screaming."
