"I loved the corn meal crust in the pizza.
Several choices if pizza & salads for
vegetarians. Can be noisy when busy
because of hard floors, walls, When we
went it was great! Delicious salads good

"The workers were friendly, the food was fantastic. I order maybe once a week for the past
Month now to go. Food is better then Zacharys in my opinion. Love the deep dish chicken pesto,
love the classic deep dish as well, although some days it can be a bit salty . I Tried to cut the time
it would have taken to cook the food by adding a note on the reservation of my order.
But I was told it didnt show or something so I should have called in.i guess
No one read my comments, however I was given 2 free drink tokens on wine or whatever, which
Made more thwn enough up. Nice customer service and best pizza I had
Ever had thus so far. There crust is way better then Zacharys."

"This past Saturday afternoon my husband, 3 yr old son, twin 1 yr old boys and I were craving one of our favorite pizzas! We called little star to check availability. The gal who answered the phone was so lovely and let us know to come on down and that we would be accommodated. And we were. A perfect table outside, Gelato right away for big brother to keep him sitting and plenty of high chairs for our crew! Food was outstanding and service was perfect! Looking forward to our next visit to little star very soon!!"

"Since Pizzeria Uno closed a few years ago, the East Bay has been without really good deep dish pizza. My wife and I have been on a quest to match the quality of Chicago's Uno's and Due's and Gino's. Little Star is fantastic: no waiting because we made a reservation online, fantastic pizza (cornmeal crust baked to crisp perfection), decent beer selection, both draft and bottles, outdoor seating rivaling North Beach. It has it all. And I heard that a new branch is opening near Grand Lake Theatre. But Solano Avenue on a Friday afternoon...wow."

"When we arrived at the time of our reservation there was no table available and my party had to wait for 10 minutes to be seated. Our server was very apologetic for this mistake, and very generously comped our salad order. Overall, the food was great, and we enjoyed our time at lunch."
